Thanks to everyone who supported me, reviewed, and read my story! This chapter is dedicated to all of you!

Six years have passed in the blink of an eye and Austin had kept his promise from that night. Their wedding in Sonic Boom was small beautiful, and romantic. They had spoken their own vows promising that they'd never give up on each other that nothing could separate them. Now a lonely six year old little girl stood at the fresh grave of her parents, they had kept their promise to the fullest and done so much together, but had left her there with her grandparents staring at the graves.

The little girl shook her head, her brown eyes sparkling still fresh with tears as her soft dirty blonde wavy hair blew in the wind. Her tiny hands were holding tightly to a small light blue guitar, a present from her parents and she strummed the strings. Remembering just a few nights before strumming it with her father, she had learned so fast how to play, but could no longer play with her parents. Her little black dress's sleeves were soaked from her drying her eyes so many times, but that didn't matter. No amount of tears would help. She began strumming again as her grandparents watched silently; tear filled eyes as her sweet little voice began to hum before she began to sing.

Daddy promised mommy

She promised him

Never would they ever part

Nor would they give in

But standing here, I'm only six

A product of their love

But I know mommy and daddy never did give up

I may not understand it and I may curse the skies

But daddy kept his promise and stuck by her side

I know it might sound silly, but I know they haven't died

What I say you may think are lies

But standing here, I'm only six

A product of their love

Forever they will live in me

In my heart they'll always stay

And I know some way, somehow

I'll see them again someday

The little girl, she stopped playing and wiped tears from her eyes. She had sang a song from the heart, a pure hearted six year old singing like she was years older than she was. This time thought the tears wouldn't stop as she set the little guitar on the grave a picture attached to it. A happy family of three smiling back at her as if to remind her things would never be the same.

She had lost everything she knew in a car wreck in one long night, but she reminded herself something her daddy once said.

"Monica, daddy and mommy are always right here. So if you get scared or lonely think of us, keep us in your heart and mind that way if you spend the night at a friend's house or have a nightmare, anything at all it'll be like we're right there." His index finger pointed to her heart his smile soft as her mommy knelt down beside him.

His words were the comfort the little girl needed and she wiped a few more tears away smiling sadly at the ground. She didn't quite understand why they had to go so far away to a place she couldn't go for a long time, but she was a Moon and headstrong no matter what she'd see them again. Then it was as if a warm hand stroked her cheek the warm air blowing gently again and she smiled.

"I know, you're always by my side." The little girl whispered as she turned away from her parents' graves, it was a promise they had made to her not so long ago.

Without another thought she ran to her grandparents nestling her head against her grandma Dawson's body before the woman gingerly picked her up. Everyone stood silent for a while tears still in their eyes and then they left with their granddaughter's little song weighing on their hearts and minds, giving them a little peace to such heartbreaking time.

I'm not going to lie, this chapter as I wrote I found was really tough to write, and not because of trying to find a way to end it, but what I actually wrote. It kind of broke my heart how I ended it, but I don't think I could've written it any other way looking back now. The promise was kept.
