*A/N all right y'all, last chapter. If you would like an alternate ending, leave it in the reviews. Sorry it took so long, if I am going to be honest, I forgot about it... Sort of about this whole site... But I am back and here to end it because I end things I start! Enjoy. And Sorry for the feels.

He walked out the door before turning on his heel and going back inside.

Jackie was still a sobbing mess, Pete was doing his best to hold his cool. The Doctor could kill them, destroy this world. There was no point, they were just hu—now stop that this instant. He shut down his murderous thoughts towards this world.

"Doctor—" Pete stood up, looking relieved.

"Don't." The Doctor went to his Rose and his son, ignoring the EMTs around. He bent down and kissed her lips softly.

Her cold, dead, lips. Lifeless, colourless, and—he needed to stop that. Stop comparing life to death. Life is death in the end. End of it.

His hand held her cold one, he took the band off of her delicate finger. The Doctor slipped it into his pocket and went to the dresser.

"Doc—"

"I said, don't." The Doctor growled at Pete. He picked up the baby bracelet that Rose and he had agreed on for Charlie. He put that in his pocket as well.

Without a second thought, he left. He had a small bag of clothes waiting right outside and the only possessions he could ever want or need at the moment.

The Doctor didn't know where he was going to go, what he was going to do, how he was going to survive… Unless.

He forced his mind to turn off. He couldn't do that. Go into the Torchwood facility and steal a Vortex Manipulator.

Oh come on, you pathetic excuse of a Time Lord. Your wife, beautiful pink and yellow Rose is dead. Your one and only son-gone. You legitimately have nothing to lose. Go. Do what you need to do. The voice in his snarled at him. The anger, misery, and the utter heart ache and feeling of loss all put into one single voice in his head.

To Gallifrey with it.

He dug through the duffel bag, hunting for his badge to be able to get into the facility, he would need it.

"Aha!" He stood up, holding it into the air. "Allons-y." He whispered to himself.

The Doctor strode into the greeting room, forcing a smile towards the secretary who was quite familiar with him.

He was surprised that he was so easily able to get through all of the security given his family just died and—

That was bloody it!

Pete and Jackie were still mourning over their daughter's and grandchild's death.

He saw red. The Doctor's stride improved, going at a much quicker rate than what he was originally. He came to the door to the room where he knew the manipulator was locked up in.

After a quick glance around, he pulled out the Sonic and unlocked the door. He entered the room, his eyes moving around the room.

Empty.

How easy is this?

But what he was about to do… This wasn't going to be so easy.

The Doctor strapped the manipulator to his wrist and set the coordinates to the day he got here. Made one of the best and worst decisions of his life.

With a sigh, a single tear traced down his cheek.

That tear held so much. Rose. Charlie. Life. Death. Love. Sex. Relationship. Together. Work. Family. Pain. Touch. Smiles. Rose. Rose. Rose. His hearts beat in time with the thought of his Rose. Charlie's name began to filter in his mind.

He was a broken man. That tear was the tear of a doubley heart-broken man.

Two hearts, twice the feelings, twice the pain.

He closed his eyes and he was ready to press the button to go. To leave this world and to never return because… Well, there really was no reason.

"Doctor, wait!" Pete burst through the door.

With a groan, "Leave me alone. I am done. I must take my leave."

Pete shook his head, "No, please. We need you."

The Doctor shook his head with a bitter laugh, "No. There is nothing here for me. For you. You have Torchwood, leave it be."

Pete's eyes traveled to the ground, "But—"

The Doctor couldn't handle what his former father-in-law was saying. His long, slender fingers pressed the buttons, sending him through all time and space.

His eyes stayed open through the traveling, watching everything around him. Nothing could make the crack in his hearts feel better. Nothing to mend them.

Except time… Time heals all wound. The Doctor felt disgusted with himself.

He landed in Bad Wolf Bay. He glanced down at the time and raised a brow. A few hours before Rose would get there…

With a sigh, he hid himself amongst the rocks.

The Doctor toyed with the idea of altering the time line and everything with it with informing Rose… Ultimately, he wouldn't be in this current situation.

But… He followed the rules and had to. It would not be fair.

To him. To her. To any of them.

But how was any of this fair? He lost the love his life, his child, essentially he lost everything.

Fuck the timeline.

The Doctor shook his head and focused on the Planet Algol alphabet, sign language and number system. All at once.

He went through several planet's and time era's legalities to pass the time.

His eyes moved from the water to the rocks.

There she was.

His Rose.

Full of life and all pink and yellow.

Her blonde hair stood stark contrast against the grey of the day. He could see the nervousness, the small bump was noticeable.

His hearts broke all over again.

He watched the TARDIS appear and took the chance when Rose was watching her steps down the rocks towards the beach to sprint to his ship.

The Doctor hid behind it until he heard the door cracked open. He knew Rose would be focused only on one thing and he would be able to get in…

After counting to two, he went and slipped into the TARDIS. The doors shut and he heard the familiar, homey sound of the 'vworp'.

He could feel his ships confusion. The Doctor hurried to switch the coordinates so it wasn't destroyed but put back into his reality.

When he knew all was well and safe with the TARDIS, he began to weep silently. Laying against the console, he couldn't handle it anymore.

The TARDIS felt his thoughts and was sympathetic and warmed to comfort him.

After awhile, he stood up and wiped his face. He sniffed and the TARDIS made a loud buzzing noise.

He pulled out the thingy-ma-bob and there lay a silver chain. He smiled sadly and leaned over to kiss the console softly.

The Doctor put the ring and bracelet onto the chain before putting it around his neck and fixing it underneath his shirt.

His suit was laid out over one of the bars and he changed into it.

"All righty Ol' Girl, just you and me again. Here to save the worlds, times, and universe. Just you and me."
