A/N: Hey guys I am back and look! It didn't take me half a year to post another chapter! YAY PROGRESS!

Love of a Lycan Ch. 8

After DADA, Harry and Hermione went to the classroom that Kari had told them to meet them. When they walked in they were greeted to the sight of the blonde and silver witches snogging rather heavily. The taller witch had the blonde pressed tightly against the far wall, holding a very toned leg on her hip. The two teens froze at the sight. Harry quickly turned around in embarrassment, his face rivaling Ron's in redness, while Hermione couldn't turn away even if she had wanted to. Watching Kari and Fleur in such an intimate and passionate snog was, well bloody HOT! Hermione let out a little whimper at the sight, her arousal spiking higher than she thought possible. The whimper seemed to of been heard by the couple as they broke apart in surprise, turning to the teens at the open door.

"Hey you two," Kari grinned unapologetically while Fleur blushed deeply and attempted to fix her skirt. "Alrighty then, don't just stand there. Come in and close the door please," Kari said as she looked back at Fleur to ensure she made herself more presentable. Harry closed the door and the two teens walked further into the room, taking in the empty room. Hermione spotted a couple of practice dummies to the far right of the room. Kari clapped her hands together loudly, catching the teens attention once more. "Right, so I want you two to show me all the spells you know. Use the dummies as targets." The Gryffindors nodded and proceeded for the next few hours going through all the spells until dinner. Before the group left Kari flicked her wrist and the room quickly went back to the way it was before the training. As they headed to dinner they settled on idle talk. Kari laid out the plans for the next day stressing that she wanted all three of them to meet her at the Black Lake early in the morning. With that they all headed off to their respective beds for the night.

Hermione and Harry found themselves standing beside the Black Lake far too early the next morning. The sun was still a good hour or two from even rising. Kari was nowhere to be seen yet and Hermione spotted a sleepy Fleur nodding off under a nearby tree.

"Why on earth are we meeting so early," yawned Harry. Hermione just shrugged, yawning herself. She was very tempted to join Fleur under the tree and go back to sleep. Just as the brunette sat beside the blonde and laid her head on the warm shoulder, the sound of someone running reached their ears. Hermione and Harry looked towards the source to see not just Kari running towards them but another female as well. The other girl was shorter than Kari, with long dirty blonde hair. She was just as tanned as Kari was, and the closer Hermione looked the more alike the two looked. She briefly wondered if they were related. The two came to a stop before the three and Kari smiled at the sleepy teens.

"Good morning everyone," she greeted, kissing Hermione and Fleur, waking the blonde up, and nodding at Harry. "I hope y'all are ready to run!" Everyone groaned at the announcement of running. "Hey hey now! No complaining, we need to build up your stamina before we take on anything else. Now then, introductions. Fleur, Hermione, Harry this is my little sister Ashley she will be helping me train y'all." The four waved and said hi, though Harry stuttered and blushed quite a bit. Once the introductions were done, Kari and Ashley led the three through the proper stretches. Then they started their run. Hermione and Harry were only able to run halfway around the lake while Fleur only managed to run another quarter further. Kari stayed with Fleur while Ashley stayed with the two youngest of the group. After an hour of running of and on for the three inexperienced runners Kari let them stop and had Ashley run them through the cool-down exercises while she finished her own run. The sun was finally beginning to rise just as they finished their stretches. Kari finally rejoined them and despite having done an additional four laps around the lake at a full run, she did not appear winded at all. Unlike her two girlfriends and Harry who looked on the verge of death after only doing two laps.

"How on bloody earth are you not dying with us right now," Hermione panted before slumping down to the ground, laying on her back in utter exhaustion. Kari just grinned at them, receiving glares in return. "Years of practice and regimen my dear. Don't worry though, you will get used to it soon enough and be able to keep up with me." Kari sat between her two beauties and allowed them to use her as a pillow until it was time to head to breakfast. Harry found his head in Ashley's lap, thankfully the exhaustion kept him from being to embarrassed for now. The small group enjoyed the sunrise in peaceful quiet before heading back inside for a much needed breakfast. Harry, Fleur, and Hermione found themselves starving and eating far more than they usually would. Kari and Ashley simply smirked at the trio as they ate at a much more sedate pace.

"After classes today we will start on the spell-work portion of training. My plan is to help you increase your magical output and agility," Kari said, to which she gained reluctant nods in return. Hermione just wanted to crawl back into bed right now and sleep until next week. "Next week we will also be starting hand to hand combat and defense," Kari continued. "You will need to learn self-defense in case you lose your wand during a fight." Everyone nodded again. After the plans were set they went their separate ways for class. Ignoring the glares from people around them, Harry and Hermione were too tired from the run this morning to care about their fellow classmates. Ron was still being a complete prat to them and had begun joining in on calling Harry a liar and cheat. Malfoy was still trying to insult them as usual as well. Hermione was beginning to wonder if maybe Malfoy had a crush on one of them, surely that had to be the reason why he was always so focused on them right? This caused a shiver of disgust to travel her spine. Best to not think about that anymore. Her mind then turned back the two women that seem to consistently plaque her mind more and more each day. Kari, the silver beauty that was mysterious and Fleur, the blonde angel that was proving to be just as strong as she was beautiful. Both had mentioned their instincts when talking about their attraction between the three, the growling that Hermione had heard during the name submissions, their diet. Hermione was almost certain that her two...Girlfriends?...Well she will go with crushes for now, but either way she was becoming more and more convinced that they weren't human. Not entirely at least. The question was if they weren't human then what were they? Perhaps the next time the three of them are alone she can ask them.

The sound of the chiming bell, signaling the end of class, scared Hermione out of her thoughts. Looking to Harry and seeing his slightly concerned face. Hermione sighed and put away her empty parchment and quills. Thankfully they were in History instead of another class that actually required focus. As they exited the class Harry nudged her shoulder.

"You ok 'Mione? It's not like you to zone out in a class. Even history." Hermione nodded silently before sighing again. "Yes sorry. Just had a lot on my mind." She paused briefly before tugging Harry off to the side of the hall. "Harry have you noticed anything odd about Kari and Fleur?" The Boy-Who-Lived blinked in surprise before shaking his head. "Not really, except Kari and Ashley have unnatural stamina," he chuckled, joking about their morning run. Hermione smiled and giggled, nodding in agreement. Though internally she was slightly thrilled and scared over Kari's stamina, especially if they reach a more intimate relationship.

Harry snapped his fingers in front of Hermione's face, stopping her thoughts from spiraling into the gutter. "Ready for Transfiguration," Harry asked leading Hermione down the hall once more. The brunette nodded and followed. Hopefully she can keep her focus on class this time instead of the enigma of Kari and Fleur.
