Kiteria Faye: Heyo guys, I know you're all probably seeing this and are going, 'What? I thought she finished this?' Or 'Yay! She's not done yet!' While that may seem true, the thing is The Captain's Musician is fully done and finished, but as I said a couple times before, there is a third and final installment in the works of the One Piece set and this little snippet will help lead into it.

The warm feeling of the summer sun beaming down on them made Trinity smile, it had been a long time since she had a girls day out and didn't have to be worried about something. If it wasn't the marines, the crew, or her children, it was something else. So when Katrina called her on the Den Den Mushi asking if she'd want to go shopping, she almost busted the other girl's eardrum when she screamed her response. Though, of course, she couldn't leave her kids at home, so Destiny, Ryo, and Sayoko came along. Trinity wasn't all that surprised when Katrina had showed up with Kyo and Muyuki either, Bepo had even tagged along, though Trinity was pretty sure that was more for the entertainment purposes of the children and the fact the polar bear couldn't go long without seeing them.

It was rather convenient that they were close to the Archipelago on the trip back home. It had become worldwide news when Strawhat Luffy and his crew had managed to obtain the most sought after treasure in the world. Needless to say, that caused quite the uproar in the world. The World Government was throwing any and everything they had at the pirate crew, other rival crews all went after them, and Trinity's own crew reacted to the news, just like she knew Katrina's crew did as well. Though unlike most of the other pirate crews, theirs were just angry. For a while, Kid had his mind set on finding Luffy and wringing his neck, something he and Law were finally in agreeance with one another about, though all that changed when Katrina and her had gone into labor. The second Kyo was born, Law's mind had shifted completely from wanting to find Strawhat, though Kid's didn't change until about a month after when their daughter Sayoko was born. The two crews no one ever saw getting along were now practically just one big family, though of course Law and Kid still bickered, it was just in their nature. Trinity didn't think there would ever be a time when those two would actually stop trying to kill one another.

After celebrating Kyo and Sayoko's birthdays and hearing her daughter argue with the white haired boy about him only being a month older than her and to stop acting grown up, Katrina had surprised everyone by revealing she was pregnant yet again. It had already been three years since Kyo was born, so to hear that the brunette and Law were expecting again was a bit of a surprise. Though that was one of the reasons Trinity was so adamant about getting out and celebrating.

"So where are we goin next Rin? Another store?"

Katrina asked and Trinity smiled at her brunette haired friend.

"No, I was thinking of going to get some ice cream."

She admitted and didn't miss the way the children seemed to scream in joy a hearing they were going to get the frozen delight.

"Law and Kid are goin to kill us when we get them back."

Katrina laughed and Trinity just smiled wider as they made their way towards the ice cream shop in the distance. The day was gorgeous. Not a cloud in the sky, she got to hang out with her friend and children, shopping and just enjoying life. It was peaceful. Was being the operative word.

"Well well, I told you we'd see each other again my dear Trinity."

An all too familiar voice called out and Trinity froze on the spot as she recognized the voice, then spun on her heel to face the blue-purple haired marine who had kidnapped her all those years ago.

"Akihiko."

She spat his name out with enough malice to make some of the marines flanking him flinch.

"I see you're happy to see me my dear."

He said with a smirk and Trinity's spirits were at the ready if need be.

"Mommy, who is that?"

She heard Kyo ask at the same time Sayoko called for her mom uncertainly.

"A bad man baby, a bad man."

Trinity said before pushing her son behind her.

"What do you want Akihiko?"

She asked, never taking her eyes off of him and knew Katrina was just as alert as she was. She didn't have to look at her friend to know the brunette's hand was on the hilt of her daggers, ready to draw them if it came to it.

"I would have thought that to be obvious my dear Trinity, I want you."

He said before the marines surrounding them descended upon them in waves.

"Destiny, protect your siblings and Sayoko!"

Trinity called to her eldest daughter who said nothing, but she and Ryo instantly moved to the three younger children and formed a circle around them. Ryo shifted into his full wildcat form and roared at any marines that were ballsy enough to get close.

"Bepo!"

Katrina called and Trinity saw the bear move out the corner of her eyes to move next to Destiny and Ryo, completing the circle protecting their kids. Once her kids were safe, Trinity called upon her spirits and gave the marines hell with Katrina right by her side. They were making good progress in cutting the number of marines down when suddenly the frightened sound of her son's voice calling out to her made her freeze.

"MOM!"

Turning Trinity saw Akihiko had knocked Destiny and Ryo unconscious and Bepo was lying on the ground, curled up holding his side where he was bleeding. Sayoko and Muyuki were crying and Kyo was shaking, his blue-gray eyes wide in fear as Akihiko held a knife to his throat.

"Akihiko, let him go!"

Trinity demanded and the man just laughed.

"The only way you're son is getting out of this my dear Trinity is if you come with me."

He said and Trinity growled at him, but knew she wouldn't be able to even try anything before Akihiko killed her son.

"Rin..."

Katrina called to her, wondering what her friend would do and Trinity sighed defeatedly.

"Let him go Akihiko, I won't fight you. Just don't hurt my children."

Trinity said, her spirits dissipating and expecting obsidian handcuffs to suddenly be put on her when Akihiko waved one of his men forward. Instead she felt a sharp pain in her neck before the world started spinning. The ground rushed up to meet her and she vaguely heard her son calling for her, but she couldn't answer. She saw Akihiko walking towards her and saw Katrina standing with Kyo, Muyuki, and Sayoko, trying to comfort them both and keep Kyo from running to her.

'Stay safe Kyo, Muyuki.'

Trinity thought before whatever she had been injected with fully took effect and everything went black.
