Hey there, Maiden-sama's back ~

I've recently got back to playing a lot of elsword, and on my way, I was looking back at the many fanfictions that has been written about it now. Though I haven't seen this fanfic since last year. Literally, the last time i updated was on 4/28 last year. But since it was so close to being finished, I want this to be the first to be finished of all my stories.

Depending on how it goes, I will also try to finish with my other writing as well, so bear with me :D

on with the story!

Original P.o.v

The sound of high heels could be heard coming close to the end of the hall. The light dimmed brighter to its arrival, showing a women with velvet red hair and a decorative purple outfit that is rather revealing. Her wings showed themselves from her back , stretching itself outwards, showing it's length.

From the room, Ran was laying down, breathless from the near escape that he had to go through to avoid the attack from the sudden intruder. Muttering to himself, he didn't seem to notice the presence of the new comer through the doors until she took a big stomp on the floor. Ran quickly recovered himself before slightly bowing towards her.

"K-Karis" He said. The succubus proceeded towards him , folding her arms in disapproval.

"Explain yourself. Where is the others. " Her voice set a demand and her eyes pierced into his. Ran grunted and showed her the few screens along the walls that were still working. The flickering image of the halls showed the bodies of the fallen bandits. "There were pests in our way, and they kept coming. We didn't have enough reinforcements-" Before he could finish, Karis pushed him down against the screen.

" I asked for an explanation, not excuses." Her voice was now soft. "Where are the rest of your party"

"Victor and bobosse..along with banthus are all dead. Chloe is still somewhere within the laboratory, and Helputt can't be found." Ran explained.

"And the intruders?" The succubus rose a brow.

"The prince of Hamel with two warriors of Hamel, the princess of Altera, a mage and warrior from elder." Ran continued. His eyes avoided her gaze.

"The princess of Altera is here? hmm...That is interesting. Hmph, at least you got your hands on the princess. "Karis stood up once again and smirked to herself. "yes, very good." She pushed Ren aside and looked back at the flickering screens. "Now we need to shut this whole place down. Call up who ever or what ever you can. make sure no one leaves this place. Understood? " Ren nodded. "Also, if there is any news of the princess, send it straight to me" he nodded once more and fazed away in the shadow. Karis continued to look at the screens, a growing smirk played onto her face. " The resurrection of the Nasod king shall proceed without fail." She mutters to herself, turning her heels and leaving the room.

Control room

Ran reappeared into a dimmed light room where different lights continued to blink around him. Looking towards the map of the laboratory, he saw the tiny red lights that moved through the many rooms that it stores. Smirking, the demon started to get to work with the lock down. Sliding down a few levers, the map displayed the closing of the rooms before him. Alerting his eyes, Ran saw a blinking light in a dangerous place. Redirecting the camera of that room, he saw the empty tube of where the princess should be. Pressing his hand against his ear, he started to mutter.

"Karis, the princess has escaped from the tube, but appears to still be in the prison room with another company."

On the other side, the sound of laughter could be heard.

"Good." she said

Nemesis's p.o.v

The doors of the room suddenly slammed itself shut a moment later, causing myself to stand alert. My drones has already prepared themselves for attack as a purple portal ripped itself into the room. I carefully placed Eve down behind the control desk before standing up myself, face to face with a girl.

The wings behind her and the pair of horns on her head shouted succubus. Her eyes gazed towards me with hunger and in her hand, a scythe formed and glowed a dark force as it started towards me.

"Karis" I muttered, walking forwards with my drones each by my side. Her smile grew when she heard my voice.

" I love that you remember me, I honestly do, Nemesis." She shrugged and examined me from head to toe. "Oh look at how much you have changed. Grew out your hair, I see. "

"Why are you here, Karis" My eyes narrowed towards her. The succubus dramatically held a hand to her heart, with her other hand over her forehead.

"Oh, after all these years of not seeing each other, this is how you greet me?" She rolled her eyes. " what a bore." With that second, Karis took her scythe and swung it towards me. I quickly dodged her attack before jumping up and called for my blades. Dropping down above her, she stumbled to her feet and teleported behind me. I then swiftly turned as she attacked and our blades collided.

"you are suppose to be dead " I exclaimed, stomping my feet to the ground, igniting blades from the floor beneath her. Karis jumped from the blades, but wielded her scythe forward and charged ahead towards me.

"Photon Flash" I called, shifting my self away from her, paralyzing her in the process. I took my chance to charge back towards her, summoning queen's thrown, I locked her into my spear trap before jumping behind her and placed my hands towards her back.

"Junk Break" I commanded. Three gears quickly materialized before me and proceeded to grind into the succubus's body. After the passing second, the gears diminished into thin air and Karis was laying down before me.

"If you think that was enough, you need to try harder." She said, swinging her scythe and jumping back up. She then rapidly swung her scythe towards me, sending off waves of energy ahead. My drones acted quickly and enabled a shield around me. My eyes widen in shock.

"How..." I managed to say. Her smile widened and aimed her scythe towards herself. Cutting cleanly out her back, she proceeded to pull out the blade and laughed as the wound tangled itself together and repaired itself.

"It's like you said, Nemesis. I am dead" she said in a mere whisper. "dead. death. Do you know how that feels? you are surrounded by darkness. they pull you in, you can't move. nothing is listening to you. Not your body, not your mind. thats death. " Karis tilted her head back. "But I was given another chance." She stepped forward and spun herself, dragging her scythe with her, and clashed into my blades. "i got another chance to live, and I'm not going to have you take that away from me. " A pulse from her palm then enacted against me , pushing me back against the wall, My back arced from the impact as I fell to the floor.

Karis proceeded towards me , and kicked me in the stomach with her heel. "Its been years hasn't it, Nemesis. I remember the day so clearly, when you betrayed me for that thing ". She continued to dig her heel into my side. " I've known you longer, I've been there when he couldn't. But yet. You still stayed by his side. How disgusting." She kneeled down in front of me.

"Now, I'll make sure that never happens again." She muttered in my hears before placing a kiss on my neck. Pain shocked into my vain, my body rejected my response, my drones were stunned. My vision then blanked out.

Rena's p.o.v

We rushed down the long halls as the doors behind us started to close shut. Looking around me, I realized all the doors were closing in on us. Making the quick decision, I came across the sewer pipes. Breaking through the bars, I and jumped in while signaling the others to follow behind. Once we all caught our breath, I started to look around.

"good...there isn't any here." I whispered softly. Elsword looked at me with a confused look. " There's no cameras here. When we were outside, there were cameras...small ones, that can track you. There were some back in Hamel. " I explained.

" mmnn.."

We all turned our focus to where the sound came from, and found that the purple magician was waking up.

"Wh-Where am I..." She asked, turning her head but only formed into a groan.

"Don't move, stupid" Elsword hissed, then looked at me. Looking down at the small girl, her wounds were clear and showed immense pain. Her leg was bruised and a few parts of her upper body still showed the aftermath of arrows that Chloe left on her. Most of her blood was dried up and closed into the cuts, but other than that, cuts and scars could be seen.

I shifted myself in order to reach for my small medical pack and proceeded to wrap up what ever I could. She bit her bottom lip in order to stop herself from making any sound. After I was finished, she relaxed herself.

"I'm sorry, but that is the most that I could do for now. I don't have many of my supplies." I looked over at Elsword. He shook his head and smiled a bit back towards me.

"It's fine. She's tougher than she looks " He sighed. "Lets go find Chung."

I nodded and looked ahead of the pipe. The place seemed abandoned and dried up, but there are still a bit of water on the ground. Carefully moving across the pipe, I found a passage that leads into the sewer tunnel. I waited for the rest of them to get out of the tight pipe before moving onward.

"There is so much pipes- We don't have enough time to search here" Elsword argued. I remained quiet as I stood there and listened. Sound came from all direction, small scratches from the rats, water dripping, and muffled shouting?

"Something's up ahead." I confirmed, rushing quietly towards the sound, the rest followed not far behind me. pressing my back against the wall, I listened one more time, and pointed to the pipe. "its coming from here"

I unlocked through the fences that block the pipe and signaled the others to follow behind. As we got closer to the sound, the pipe slowly started to vibrate in sound waves. I felt an uneasy feeling about what was up ahead, but I continued to crawl towards it. Once seeing a bit of light coming from below, I held up a hand to stop the rest from moving as I peeked through the fences down. There, I saw a familiar blonde and a unrecognizable white and red armor. Kicking down the metal fence from the pipe, I jumped down and rose my bow to the mysterious white and red armor. I could feel Elsword and Reckless watching me from above.

"Whoever you are, step away from Chung." I ordered. Chung turned around and defended the man in the armor, in my confusion.

"Rena! Stop- Don't shoot." He cried. I rose a brow and slightly lowered my bow.

"Who is that? Why are you defending him?" I became more and more suspicious.

"This is- " but before Chung could answer, the white-red armor stepped forward with his cannon and dropped it on the ground in front of him. He then proceeded to take off his helmet and reveal the cream colored hair and cerulean eyes. My eyes widen as I dropped to one knee and lowered my head.

"Your Highness." my voice trembled.

"Rise, Rena. It is alright" His voice threatened my tears to fall, but I held myself together and stood to my feet. I noticed by the far corner, a broken camera was laying in the corner. Turning around I walked back towards the pipe and looked up.

"Come on down, it's safe" I said. Reckless proceeded to jump down first with his arms held out. Before I could ask him why he was doing that, I heard a shriek, followed by Aisha being thrown down onto Reckless's arms. Elsword's laugh followed with him jumping down as well.

"Chung!" Elsword jogged up to him and gave him a hug. "good to see you are still good." Chung smiled for a slight moment, but it faded as the moment past.

"We've been locked in since all the doors were shut. On top of that, the doors are almost impossible to break though." Chung explained.

"We could go back towards the sewer tunnel, but that whole thing is a maze itself." I said, looking around for more suggestions.

"Maybe if one of us knew where the control room is, it would unlock the doors and shut down the cameras." Aisha mentioned. I looked over at Reckless.

"When we entered, a bandit mentioned that the control room is down left of the tunnel entrance." Reckless reminded himself. "But we are way off the tunnel entrance"

It was then elsword jumped up.

"Sis! Elesis! She's still up in Elders! Aisha- can you do a transport message to my sister?" Elsword shook Aisha.

"That's not going to work! There are doors shutting out everyone that is outside" Rena held a head on Elsword's shoulder.

"Then...Then what about your mom, Aisha- She's in ruben right? " Elsword looked at Aisha, who rubbed her chin.

"Yeah, your sister knows my mother, doesn't she?" As soon as Elsword nodded, Aisha slowly shifted herself from Reckless's arms and stood to her feet, Reckless still holding onto one of her arms for balance. Pulling her wand from her sleeve, she waves it into a circle, where a picture of a familiar red head shows herself in a neat house. She noticed the portal right away and came closer towards it .

"Elesis!" Aisha called, covering her ears for a clear signal across. The red knight nodded and gave her a thumbs up as if she could hear her.

"Ok, We need some help here. We're currently trapped inside Wally's Laboratory with the Demon Squad in it. We're currently on shut down and all the doors are locked in. We need you to find my mom and find the control room by the left wing once you go through the first hall of the entrance." Elesis nodded and gave her another thumbs up. The portal then swirled in place and disappeared once again. Aisha then fell from her position, but Reckless held onto her one arm, preventing her to fall.

"And now...we proceed to wait." Chung set his cannon down and sat on it, while the others sat on the floor.

some time later -Ruben

A fairly tall women walked out from her cottage and stretched after a hard day of work. A sight of a certain red head made her smile.

" Elesis! It has been a while since I've seen you down to Ruben, how may I help you?" Elesis was already dressed in her armor.

"I was asked in place of your daughter, to join me to wally's laboratory. They are in need of help." She bowed. The women laughed.

"Enough with the formality , Elesis." She said, throwing on a cloak around her, displaying the velder symbol. " And the name is Ellia, Elemental Master of Ruben. call me by my name alright? "

AHHHHHHHH CHAPTER FINISH.

note that i was rereading my story and so much things are so messed up. i hope it all makes sense , if not, leave a review and i'll do my best to tell you without spoiling anything.
