I was watching Better Off Dead when one of the scenes gave me the inspiration for this story. Hope you like it!

He ran into the room, and slammed the door behind him. He was panting and out of breath and had his arms up as if that would keep the door closed somehow.

"They're after me!" he exclaimed.

"Do you owe them two dollars?" A female voice asked.

He looked around wildly with crazed eyes before his gaze landed on the girl behind the desk. She had not lifted her gaze off of the paperwork she was working on since he had barged in. She was scribbling across a sheet of paper.

He stayed at the door for a moment longer; still convinced they would barge in before he moved to sit down in one of the plush chairs on the other side of her desk.

"So how's life Granger?" He stretched out in the chair, making himself at home.

She shot him a look without lifting her head.

"I was having a good day Malfoy. And then you showed up."

He smirked at her. "Well, now you have a great day."

She glared at him again. They sat in silence for a moment before she spoke up. "So who's after you?"

"You know bloody well who," he grimaced.

"Voldemort terrorizing the Ministry again?" She asked dryly.

She was still writing on the sheet of paper.

Malfoy glared at her in annoyance. "I meant Potter and Weasel-bee."

Hermione finally lifted her head and looked up at him. Far used to his name calling, she ignored it.

"Oh? And what do they want?"

Malfoy fell back in his chair and flung his arm over his eyes dramatically.

"Blaise and Theo somehow convinced them that I needed a boy's night out to celebrate."

Hermione laughed. "They're giving you a bachelor's party, Malfoy."
Malfoy furrowed his eyebrows. "What's a bachelor's party?"

"It's a Muggle tradition where the groom goes out and celebrates the last night of being, well a bachelor."

Malfoy sat up, clearly interested. "What does this celebration entail, exactly?"

Hermione sat back in her chair and tucked her hair behind her ear. "In most cases the intended groom, along with his friends, go out for a night of drinking and fun. There's a stereotype that a bachelor's party usually involves going to a strip club."

"A strip club? Hm, maybe I'll go out after all. Why haven't I heard of this before?" He got another glare before she turned back to the paperwork on her desk.

There was banging on the door suddenly, and Malfoy jumped up. "I'm not here," he whispered as he got in the corner by the door. The door swung open to reveal Harry and Ron along with Zabini and Nott standing there.

"Is he here?" Harry asked.

"Behind the door," she said not looking up. There was an outraged gasp from Draco's location. Ron moved to get behind the door and dragged the sputtering blonde from his hiding place.

"Really Granger? Is this any indication of what the future is going to be like?" Harry and Blaise had grabbed both of Malfoy's arms and were attempting to drag him through the doorway.

Hermione got up from her desk and walked over to the group of boys. She smoothed Malfoy's robes down and fixed his collar.

"Maybe next time you won't replace my work folders and paperwork with risqué photos of yourself when I have to give a presentation?"

Zabini and Nott chuckled while Harry and Ron gagged at the thought. Hermione walked back over to her desk and sat down, resuming her work. The group was almost out the door when Hermione called out.

"And boys?" They stood with raised eyebrows. "No strip clubs."

Draco cursed.
