Chapter 11: New Years, Stalkers, and MAFIA!
"… No…"
" It's Vongola Tradition."
" Well, too bad!"
" It's either you cooperate or get shot."
"Says the baby who just received punishment."
"Do it, or die…"
"NO!"
The triplets were arguing with Reborn, who announced to them that he invited everyone to celebrate New Year's with them, Vongola Style. Thus, using common sense, they started to reject it, knowing who they'll be playing against and how it's going to end.
"Bwut, *sniff* I did it all for you guys…" Reborn said innocently, while fake crying.
"Don't you even go that far, Reborn! We all know you aren't an innocent crying baby!" Reino yelled.
"*munching* Knock it off Reino. We'll just add another mark to the "amount of punishment" chart for him. Besides, you know the saying 'Be careful of what you say, `cause words can come back and bite you'." Hime pointed out, while munching on a dango stick.
"*Gulp* Yeah, nii-san. Anyways, come here and sit under the kotatsu, and eat the New Year's cake and dangos that me and mom made." Tsuna patted the empty spot that was on the left side of him.
Reino sighed, and plopped down next to his cute little brother, grabbing the green mochi in front of him, and eating in bliss. Reborn had an urge to just kick them, but knowing the dangerous outcome of it, he just opened his mouth, only to have something cold, and creamy stuff in his mouth. He started to chew, only to find out it was an espresso-flavored ice cream mochi.
"If you cancel everything, including the little "tradition", I'll give you the pre-made tiramisu and more of the mochi~" Tsuna bribed.
Reborn was about to answer, until Nana banged open the door.
"Reino-kun, Hime-chan, Tsu-kun, your friends are her-" Nana was about to announce, only to notice that her children weren't wearing their yukata/ kimono.
"Ara? Why aren't you three wearing your yukata/ kimonos?" Nana asked darkly, flashing a dark smile.
"Because, we don't want to." The triplets answered, giving Nana a deadpanned stare.
Nana mouth twitched by the answer, and was about to threaten them, only to have 3 guns pointed at her.
"Kaa-san, we said we don't want to." Hime stated.
"And never will." Reino added.
"So please leave us ALONE!" Tsuna finished darkly, while glaring at her along with Hime and Reino.
"... Well, your friends are already here to celebrate with you, so you might as well wear one. Especially you Tsuna." Nana sighed, hoping they would at least be persuaded by it.
"Abso-" Reino started.
"Lutely-" Hime continued.
"Not. We, especially ME, refuse. We'll just go without one." Tsuna said.
"Good luck with that. Kyoko and Haru bought you guys one, and actually asked me to have you three wear it." Nana countered.
"HARU! KYOKO! COME UPSTAIRS!" They called the two girls that were waiting with everyone in the living room.
The two said girls went upstairs, and saw Reborn, and the triplets under the kotatsu.
"Hai?" The two answered.
"Did you really asked our mom to have us wear the yukata, kimono, whatever?" Hime asked, with seriousness hinted in her voice.
"Of course! We wanted to see you guys in one, since you guys rarely wear one, desu!" Haru exclaimed. "I mean, seeing Tsuna-san with his yukata~ Hahi! He would be sooo cute!" She squealed imagining Tsuna in a yukata.
"Don't worry. We also got Hime-chan a peach kimono to match with Tsuna-kun, and a dark orange yukata!" Kyoko added, smiling.
The trio just sighed, then got up and went downstairs, still wearing their pjs'. Everyone then looked up and noticed them, and greeted with their own way, but was silenced when Tsuna raised one hand and coughed on the other that was in a fist.
"We know you guys chose our kimonos and yukatas, so we're grateful..." Hime said.
Everyone's eyes lit up.
"But!" Reino added.
Cue for eyes dimming down.
"We will not, wear them!" Tsuna exclaimed.
Right after they said that, everyone shadowed their eyes, including Lambo, Bianchi, I-pin, and Fuuta. The trio sweat-dropped at the scene, only to feel dread once they saw the glint in their eyes.
"Maa, maa~ You aren't serious, are you?" Yamamoto asked with his usual smile, only with darkness in his "bright" voice.
"I did not pay that much to just let have that as decoration, herbivore." Hibari growled.
"Oi, young Vongolas. Ore-sama demands you to take that back." Lambo darkly threatened.
"Juudaime, I'm sorry, but please do take that back..." Gokudera grumbled with a dark aura.
The trio just stared there in shock that even Gokudera would betray them. Then without further thinking, they quickly changed into their normal clothing and ran outside the door. Everyone quickly got up and started chasing after them, including Reborn. Nana just stayed planning on how to trick Reborn to eat poison for tonight's dinner.
"Gee wiz! What's wrong with them!" Reino yelled annoyed, while turning into an alley.
"I can't believe they'd go this far to just catch us to wear them too!" Hime agreed, jumping over a trash can.
"I'm not a girl for goodness sake! I mean really!" Tsuna ranted on and on about not being a girl. "Really, why do they think I'm a fricken girl! I don't even- holy!" He screeched almost getting shot by a bullet, and hit by poison cooking.
The triplets turned and saw that they were being chased by Fuuta, I-pin, Bianchi, Lambo and Reborn. Reborn steadied his gun again, ready to shoot another bullet while Bianchi revealed a poison cooking cake. Fuuta was reading their ranks of top 3 physical weaknesses, I-pin eating another gyoza bun, and Lambo with his thunder set.
"Oi! That's not fair!" Reino complained.
"Reino-nii! Just let them be! We can just use our portable weapons to block and attack!" Tsuna pointed out, while pulling out his guns.
"Stupid Reino." Hime insulted while pulling out her portable singijeon with a small cord hanging on the bottom tied with a blue feather and a blue crystal bead.
"Shut-up, Hime!" Reino snapped, getting his throwing knives.
Hime turned around and started to twirl it, sending outs shots of Rain flames at the quintet. In the same time, Reino sent out his knives covered in sun flames, and Tsuna shooting sky flamed bullets. The five were shocked by how fast they were being shot at. If Lady Luck wasn't on their side today, they would've seriously have died, due to the hits were 1mm away from them. Bianchi started to throw poison cooking, in attempt to catch them, while I-pin was shooting gyoza fists at them. Lambo tried electrocuting the trio with the electtrico reverse. But the triplets just easily dodged them like nothing. Reborn finally got pissed, and started to shot them with REAL bullets, only to see that his bullets that never miss, get knock out of course, DIRECTLY by other bullets from the opposite side. What's even worse, the bullets that were knocked off, was melted from the pointy side of the bullet, while bullets covered in sky flames were heading straight at Bianchi' left shoulder, where Reborn was sitting.
"Mou~ They don't give up, don't they." Hime pouted, in irritation that they won't stop.
"At least we had them surprised. Especially with how Tsuna deflected Reborn's bullets so easily!" Reino cackled.
"I know right! He doesn't know that these weapons are weapons I modified!" Tsuna laughed. "We might actually not get caught!" He cheered.
"YUP/ YOU KNOW IT!" The other two yelled.
But of course, that didn't happen. Instead, they quickly jumped out of the way from road, dodging bombs that were heading straight at them.
"Shoot!" Tsuna yelled.
"Aw come on!" Reino shouted with frustration.
"Crap!" Hime "cursed".
Bomb ended up being a smoke bomb from none other then our favorite bomber, Gokudera. Gokudera was looking guilty, and was saying apologies to his precious "samas" and juudaime in his head. The smoke was thick causing the triplets to use their 6th sense. Hime started to twirl her singijeon in front of her, trying to clear the smoke. While she was doing that, to back of her, Tsuna and Reino kept their guard up for attacks.
*Whoosh*
Reino quickly threw the knives, deflecting a tonfa that was heading right at him, while Tsuna shot bullets into a whip. The smoke finally cleared to reveal Hibari, Dino and Gokudera all of them ready to attack them. Hime, and Reino walked in front of Tsuna, the two in stance, while Tsuna was pointing his gun to the front of him, his back touching his sister, and brother's back.
"Forgive me Hime-sama, Reino-sama!" Gokudera yelled, sending out his bombs at them.
"Hn." Hibari said, charging at Reino, in the same time as Dino who charged at Hime.
*BANG BANG*
Tsuna was running side to side, while shooting at someone he'd least expect. Yamamoto. He was shooting at Yamamoto. While being attacked with a katana.
"Yamamoto! When did you learn to use a sword?!" Tsuna yelled, while fending the sword-fighter off.
"Hahaha! The kid gave the sword to me, and told me to learn from my dad the basics. So I ended up learning not a style, but enough to help fend myself!" Yamamoto laughed, pushing Tsuna back slightly, while Tsuna pushed forward with his gun.
Mean While~
"Oh, ho, ho! It seems we found the trio!" A buff guy smirked.
"These guys are going to be hard to catch" A guy with long hazel hair, pulled into a short ponytail hissed.
"My boss would be pleased!" cackled a person with green snake eyes said, licking his lips. (Note: All of them are working under different bosses)
"The triplets would be part of our famiglia!" the 3 said in the same time without knowing.
Back to the plot~
The trio finally managed to knock out the vampire, horse, doggy, baseball-guy, poison-love girl, dumplings, and cow in five minutes and were about to head home, until they saw Reborn standing in front of them, looking mad. MAD!
"You guys are basically cancelling the 'activity' that I worked hard preparing for you guys..." He hissed, cocking his Leon-gun.
"Well~ actually, no we're not. We knew we would've lost this year, so we decided to have the Chiavorone to keep their 1 million yen that they owed us from last year..." Tsuna explained rather cutely.
The other two nodded, while holding their noses, to prevent blood coming out. They would've started a fight, until Tsuna grabbed Reborn, and place a sleeved-covered hand on the hitman's face, while Hime and Reino covered their face with their hand. Gas started to appear from nowhere, chlorophene to be exact.
The trio quickly jumped out of the gas, only to be attacked by bullets shooting right at them.
"What the-!" Reino started, removing his hand from his face, after landing, to see 3 assassins in front of him.
Hime and Tsuna, who was still carrying Reborn, turned and saw what Reino saw, and just groaned.
"Why, now~?! Can't we just have-!" Hime cried only to be cut off by -
*BOOM*
*Tatta-tatta-tatta*
*SHING-SHING*
Dodging the blades, the bullets, and grenades, Hime and Reino attacked back, sending pelts and knives of sun and rain back the the assasins.
*Bang-Bang*
Tsuna shot a bullet at the snake-eyes dude.
"Hiss-su-su-su~ I didn't know Angelo would notice me~" The green snake-eyed guy commented, with a snake-like grin.
"What do you want?" Tsuna demanded, gripping on to the hitman a little more tighter, especially covering the yellow pacifier.
The act didn't go unnoticed by the assassin.
"Hiss-su-su~ Angelo would've known what I want, but because you aren't Angelo, it'll be easy to take you on, and force you to join my famiglia~" he grinned.
Tsuna's eyes widened at first, until it narrowed. He didn't think this anyone would be able to figure him out that easily, nor know where he actually lived. He made sure all the mafiosi would be tricked into knowing that he and his sibling lived in either Rhodes, Greece or Sicily, Italy. But how this happened, he isn't sure himself. He studied the guy to just find out who the heck he was.
Tsuna's P.O.V
'Darn! Just when I was thinking things couldn't get any better! Why can't I just rest for at least one day?! ONE DAY?! Almost most of the time, me and my sibling practically have to run from the mafia, make sure none of my friends argue, and hide our identity from Reborn! But NO! Instead, the mafia thought it'd be okay to chase us on New Year! Do they know how much trouble they're putting through! I had to K.O Reborn, change him into baby clothes, and hide him in a corner, with his pacifier, yes his pacifier, into his baby mouth! And now I have to face this guy that I can't get any info., from! Not even his age!' I ranted in my head, while dodging the snake-ish freaky weirdo's attacks. I then noticed the weapon he was currently using, which were needles, and how they landed. They landed in pairs, with vials of different poison in each of them. But what made it more obvious was how they landed-pattern looked like. Just like a snake. I was so stupid! Why didn't I just noticed it from before! Baka! I quickly loaded my gun with bullets, and positioned my gun.
"Hiss-su-su~ It seems that you're ready to battle me for real~ But those guns won't work~" He said.
"We will see Velano Fulmine." I said, pulling down the safety.
"Oh, now you recognize me~ I feel honered! But too bad, it would last only for a short amount of time~ Hiss-su-su-su~!" Velano sneered, chucking the needles at Tsuna at 80m/h.
*BANG BANG*
I shot bullets, making sure they would shoot the way I wanted it to. Going 100 m/h., my bullets did a ping-ball type of reflection, knocking out all the needles and hitting Velano at the forehead, ribs, stomach, and his legs.
"GAH!" He yelled before falling unconscious.
I just sighed, thinking how easy he was able to be beaten. I went to the corner and pulled the still Reborn (people I know if he's acting or not, just to let you know), and dragged Velano to some "cleaners" who were waiting for the guy. I just nodded my head, and gave them the guy and left the alley, walking toward the place where my siblings were battling.
"Ku-fu-fu-fu~" someone said.
I heard the weird chuckle and turned my toward the sound, only to see know one was there at all.
Regular P.O.V
Tsuna ended up meeting Hime and Reino a couple feet away from the alley he just came from.
"Yo Tsuna!" Reino called.
"Tsuna!" Hime yelled, both running to their kawaii brother.
"Nee-san! Nii-san! That guy was easy! It was just Velano Fulmine, that 22 year old assassin dude who works for the Sanguinaso famiglia. I had the cleaners take care of that guy, which I knocked him out in 5 minutes." Tsuna said, pouting that it was easy.
Hime and Reino just smiled, with a tint of blush.
"Mine wasn't hard. Just Bull man from last year." Reino reported.
"Stretchy Sam." Hime replied, knowing that both would understand. Seriously, to beat that guy, you just have to make him tie himself up!
Tsuna nodded with a smile until his face turned serious.
"Did you guys encounter weird people before you left?" Tsuna asked, his mouth in a frown.
"Yeah, me and Hime were talking about it while coming to you." Reino replied, his eye-brows scrunched up.
"We should keep a good look out." Hime said,not liking the situation. But after a second she started grinning. "Well, let's go home! I'm starving anyways! Last one to the house had to bye loser any desserts!" She challenged, already running away.
"Chotto matte! That's cheating!" Reino yelled, running after her.
"Aw! Come one!" Tsuna groaned, still holding Reborn in his arms, he started to run.
Time Skip~ At home
"OKAI-!" The triplets were about to say once they got in, only to see everyone in their house.
"Why are you here?!" Reino exclaimed.
"We thought we lost you guys!" Hime yelled.
Reborn finally woke-up, changed into a yukata, glared at Tsuna, before explaining.
"I knew you guys would try to get out of it, so this was the back up plan!" Reborn said, with a victorious smirk on his face.
The triplets glared at Reborn, before just sighing in giving up.
"Fine. Let's just celebrate. But food first and no 'Vongola Tradition'!" Tsuna said, and everyone dressed the trio up and started celebrating New Year REGULARLY.
Mean while ~ At Kokuyo
