Chapter 14: Beast Wars Part 2

Beast Boy flew down to his friends and emotions in his dragon form. He scanned the ground to look for a place by them that wasn't burning since everything was burning within a five mile radius. Thinking about what he had just done to all these animals didn't really bother him, and that scared him why he didn't feel bad for what he had just done.

Slade sat on his back with his weapons sheathed back in their hostler's. The way his eye darted back and forth made him anxious about what will his and Beast Boy's next battle will be, because in his mind the whole battle… everything they had just done. The way he had decapitated that dragon, the way Beast Boy had scorched every animal. That was exhilarating.

He had never had a battle like that before and battling the Titans on a frequent basis, they looked liked child's play. They were just children, nothing of a challenge to him at all, but Beast Boy has always been different in his mind then the other Titans.

With Beast Boy he always had to think different and battle differently against him. Robin was a good fighter, trained by the best, but he is predictable. Starfire relies on her strength and power, but if you take that away from her then she becomes vulnerable. Cyborg is intelligent and strong, but lacks finesse and the speed. He thinks too much and doesn't act quickly. Raven is an emotional bomb waiting to go off, so dealing with her is rather easy in his mind since he was good at getting into others. Though if she caught you then you'd be dead. Beast Boy however is different.

Slade thought back to all his training as a soldier as they landed on the ground and replayed all the events that have just taken place. Beast Boy has always been different Slade thought. Watching him in the amusement park tearing his robot apart years ago was interesting.

Robin took such a long time the first time to defeat his robot that Slade pitied him. When he fought Robin he did have to admit he was a good fighter, but was easily defeated. Beast Boy on the other hand was not trying to defeat him whenever they fought. Instead he was trying to kill Slade. The time with Terra, he was having trouble with Beast Boy turning into a monkey and the second time when he sent a robot, he was glad he did or else Beast Boy would have killed him.

Shivering, Slade could only imagine what it would have felt like to be in the jaws of a T Rex and have it smash you in a wear down rollercoaster ride. The anger he saw on the boys face made him think differently about the boy and also made him think of new strategies.

The first was to kill Beast Boy before he killed him, but now he is thinking of entire new plan. Have Beast Boy fight for him and conquer the City and defeat the Teen Titans. Yes he liked that idea better than the old one. Now all he needed to do was make sure that Superior takes control and viola! He'll have Beast Boy.

Beast Boy turned back into his human form, which caused Slade to jump off of him. Landing on the ground Slade looked at Beast Boy, who had his brow down as if he was mad and a frown on his face with his tooth poking out.

Slade walked towards the boy, but was stopped when Raven got in his path and placed a hand on Beast Boy's left shoulder as she extended her other one with her palm facing out at him. "Don't come any closer Slade." Raven hissed with her face identical to Beast Boy's, though hers was more frightening, as if to say, if you come any closer then I'll behead you type of look. "You will come no closer than you already are to Garfield."

"That's right." Wisdom said standing in front of Raven facing Slade with his fists clenched. "You will not come any closer, in fact. Rage, Brave seize him now!" Wisdom roared.

Brave came at Slade in the form of a bear as Rage turned into a rhinoceros and charged at Slade. They moved fast, but not fast enough. Slade had already sprung into the air and was about to fight until a shadowy hand came out of the ground and caught him by the legs.

Slade was brought back to the ground and landed with a thump. He was being dragged in by into a void and yelled out for help, but before Brave or Rage could help him he was already gone and the shadowy hand disappeared.

Everyone looked shocked, but Wisdom already knew who took him, so did the others after a little while as the shock disappeared.

Slade was in a black orb in a black space with no lighting except for the faint glow of some purple spheres that were the size of soccer balls that went around the black orb he was in. The orb itself was not very roomy and the darkness was kind of creeping Slade out a bit.

A dark cloud came in a matter of seconds of him being there, with huge red eyes glowing in the darkness as they stared at him. "Welcome to my domain!" A voice said in a gravelly voice that echoed throughout the endless dark void. "I get such few visitors that it gets lonely in here."

"Huh, I wonder why?" Slade said in a sarcastic tone.

"Silence!" The voice roared with some fire erupting out of nowhere in between them. "You have caught my attention human." Superior said this as his entire form grew.

The ball of darkness that held Slade was know just a speck of dust compared to Superior as he floated by his giant right eye. Superior squinted his right eye so that he could look at Slade and was surprised to see that the masked villain didn't even flinch. He floated around the circle getting a look at Slade from all angles to see if he was showing any kinds of weakness and again he was astonished to find that Slade showed nothing at all.

"Do you not fear me?" Superior asked as he shrunk down to the size of Slade. He floated in front of him with his arms crossed and his eyes narrowed. "Are you not afraid of my might?!" Superior roared with more fire coming up out of nowhere around them.

"Please," Slade said folding his arms and sitting up straight with a plain look on his face, "I have faced more menacing opponents before and guess what, they are actually real and not some emotion in some boys head." Slade finished.

Superior only laughed which caught Slade off guard as Superior began to circle Slade again. "You think I'm actually an emotion and that you have faced much more menacing opponents then me? Oh how delightful, your dumbness amuses me!" Superior said while knocking his left forearm into Slade's orb, causing it to shake a little. He then continued to circle Slade as if he was a wolf and Slade was an injured deer.

"You're not an emotion?" Slade asked a little bit confused. "But I thought…"

"You thought wrong." Superior bellowed with fire erupting around him. "I have been on this planet before your kind came to being."

"How is that possible?" Slade asked while shivering. "You… You're just supposed to be an emotion, a dark side to Beast Boy, his feral soul."

"I am and I am not!" Superior responded in a loud voice. "I and my brother chose this boy to have the power of the entire animal kingdom! He was our chosen one, the one who was worthy of such power. We gave it to him by one of our servant's who was a monkey!"

Superior grew more agitated and this only scared Slade more. "The monkey bit Garfield, and then his parents thought they could save him, because they thought the power would kill him. They were wrong, we chose him and we were doing no harm to the boy."

"Who are you and where did you come from?" Slade asked in a frill voice.

"I and my brother came into being once this planet was created, to answer your second question. And to answer your first, I and my brother are known by many names. My brother influenced your kind to call him by his true name, Sakutia, but your kind has failed to give me a name, so when we entered Beast Boy once the monkey bit him, I toke on the name Superior and became an emotion. My brother calls me Anti sometimes though, I don't know why." Superior said shaking his head in disgust.

"So what is your true name then?"

"You want to know?" Superior said as his form grew bigger and his shape began to change. "My brother was given his name in ancient times, because it was a name of honor and leadership that was given to those who were worthy. My name is Primetia, which was name in ancient times that meant superiority and feral."

"My, what a powerful name you have and that explains why you chose to be known as Superior." Slade commented looking at the towering form in front of him. "And may I ask what creature you are now?"

"Sakutia used the Titanosaur's in ancient times to help form landscapes for life to grow." Superior said with a snarl. "I, on the other hand used creatures called, Beast King's, to help form landscapes as well."

"So what is my purpose of being here then, oh mighty Primetia?" Slade asked as he went to one of his knees and bowed his head to the stunned creature.

Superior was surprised that Slade used his actual name and thought there would be no punishment for it. How dare this human call Superior by his true name, an insignificant creature was not worthy of ever saying his name.

The giant beast was going to crush Slade, but a thought came into his mind. "This human fears me, but also respects me… hmmm, I shall reward him then for this." Superior quickly thought as he put his giant hands around the ball that Slade was in. Purple light came from within the orb and Slade was shocked to see that the purple light was coming from his chest. He got back on his legs as he gazed up at the giant creature as it spoke.

"Slade!" Superior roared as he released his hands from the orb. "You shall be my herald to help me escape this place and show the world my might! Your first mission is to have all the emotions and Beast Boy in one area, and then you are to call upon me so that I may suck them dry of their power and finally leave this mind so that I may control Beast Boy and teach him my ways!"

"As you command my Primetia, I shall not fail you." Slade said as the orb started to crack and break open. He shot off like a rocket into the sky with a purple streak following him.

AN: The final battle is about to come up and it will be awesome. I need your guys honest opinion though about Superior. When I started to think about writing this story I thought that one of Beast Boy's emotions wasn't going to be really an emotion at all. So I thought about it a little and I thought a little bit more then it hit me. There had to be another side to Sakutia, a side that was more feral. So after some thought I gave Sakutia a brother, which both gave Beast Boy his powers and are always fighting to see which one will control him. Also, what do you think of Superior's real name, I couldn't really think of anything and I thought I would just call him Superior and leave it at that, but then I thought, "To heck with it, I'll just give him a name."

So do you people like Primetia/Superior as a villain and what would you like to see him turn into in the next chapter. And for those who have been waiting for a Beast Boy and Raven scene, I apologize and promise one in the next chapter, because their relationship will have a huge part of this towards the end.
