HERE IT IS. THE LAST CHAPTER.

I'M CRYING JUST WRITING THIS INTO.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday and ate lots of food!

I don't own Durarara!, never have, never will. Sad to say, this is the closest I've ever come to being worth something. Thank you to all who have helped me along the way. You reading just a single word makes all of this mean something.

There will be more goodbyes at the end of the chapter but for now, let's enjoy the last installment!

Requested by Tanto Storm, a Shizaya Thanksgiving:D Thanks for such a cute idea!

Izaya POV

'This could either turn out really good or really bad. Either way I'm done for. This stuffing is going to be the death of me!' Izaya thought to himself with closed eyes as he savored the delicious taste of the best stuffing he'd ever had.

Presently, he was sitting at the elaborately decorated dining room table in his own apartment with five other people. Each one of them was important to him or his Shizu-chan in some big way and it was only right to invite them all together to share a Thanksgiving dinner. Although, he wished they all didn't have it out for him.

Mairu and Kurui kept playing with their food. Not just the normal way, their way. They shoved their turkey into gravy like they should be arrested for it and spread butter on bread in the most seductive way possible. The worst part? They did these things while staring directly into the eyes of the person sitting across the table form them.

Yuhei Hanejiima.

A.K.A. Kasuka Heiwajima.

Shizuo's precious little brother that he wouldn't think twice about protecting with his life... was being sexually assaulted in his older brother's eyes by the siblings of Izaya. Kasuka didn't even flinch. He just stared back at their 'alluring' gaze with a determination to use this one day in his acting career (Izaya guessed anyway).

If it weren't for the talk the two boyfriends had earlier, his apartment, no the whole building would be in shambles. But thanks to that conversation, Shizuo was somehow holding it together so far. Not so much can be said for the three forks he'd bent though.

As if the taunting twins weren't enough to threaten ruin, Shinra and Celty were there too. Celty wasn't the problem, no, but she was the cause of it. Shinra wouldn't stop leaning over and whispering into her helmet. He was undeniably telling her all about how he'd use the mashed potatoes to make her writhe and scream beneath him. Celty's black smoke whirled in little hearts from under her helmet. It made everyone in the room fairly uncomfortable. All they could do was ignore them because it was thanks to them they even had food.

Shinra had taken it upon himself to cook everything- stuffing (delicious by the way), turkey, mashed potatoes, his grandma's special gravy, cranberry sauce, almond beans, fresh bread rolls, and pumpkin pie with homemade cream- so it wasn't like they could kick him out.

They had to be thankful for heaven's sake. That part made Izaya sick. Not heaven but the idea of having a holiday to give thanks for what you have. At least it used to make him sick.

Before he would just spend his Thanksgiving observing the odd habits of his humans. This year, Shizu-chan talked him into having a get together with both of their family and friends. They invited Tom but he said he was going to his girlfriend's house to meet her parents, so it ended up being Mairu, Kurui, Kasuka, Shinra, and Celty joining Shizuo and Izaya.

He found himself actually being thankful for once. He had a wonderful boyfriend by his side, two annoying-but-cute-in-a-way sisters, a movie star he could consider to be a brother in law, and two crazy in love friends who are mostly crazy.

So instead of worrying about where he's going to live if Shziu-chan lost his temper, he looked up and met those golden shimmering eyes.

The way that bleach blonde smiled made him feel like they were going to be okay, no matter what crazy things life decides to throw their way.

Shizuo POV

'Stay calm...just stay calm...they're just his fans...calm...' Shizuo thought to himself in an attempt to keep his anger under control. The feeling of another fork being bent like a plastic straw in his palm threatened to topple his carefully built pillar of control. His eyes were shut tight and he fought off the power that wanted to surge through his arms and fling the table against the wall. The only three things that prevented him from doing just that were the plate of food he's been trying to finish, the guilt he'd feel if he ruined this holiday, and the fact that if he did indeed throw the table Izaya and Kasuka would most definitely get pinned to the wall and be squashed.

The food actually wasn't half bad. He had to hand it to Shinra, the turkey was the perfect balance between moist and damp and the cranberry sauce was sweet just the way he liked it. If he wasted his food, he'd really regret it later on one of those nights Izaya is busy with work and all he has to eat is a bag of chocolate chip cookies to go with his milk.

Also, if he happened to do something- say throw the banquet table- to disrupt the happiness of the holiday, he wouldn't be able to look at Izaya without being wracked with guilt. He was the one to talk the raven into a get together, Izaya had originally wanted to go away for a long weekend but Shizuo couldn't stand not being with family (namely Kasuka) on one of the few days they get to spend together in a year. It had taken a bunch of 'Pleeeease' s and persuasive kisses to convince his significant other to host a party. If he ruined it now when Izaya even looked like he was enjoying something other than random humans or his favorite boy toy, he would never forgive himself.

Speaking of never forgiving himself, how could he hurt those who were most precious to him? Kasuka is the one who's been there for him since the beginning, even when his life was clearly in danger. And Izaya... he couldn't even put into words how much he loved him anymore. To hurt either one of them would spell his destruction.

So when he reached out to grab another fork form the middle of the table he opened his eyes to meet a pair staring right at him. Those dark, shiny orbs that seemed to melt when they looked at him were perfectly complemented by the beaming smile gracing those beautiful pale lips. He couldn't help but smile in return.

Moments like these reminded him that he always had someone to lean on and to keep him calm. Izaya would always be there.

Always.

I LOVE YOU. MY DEAR READER YOU MEAN SO MUCH TO ME. THANK YOU. THE END.

If you want to be notified when I add my two shizaya one-shots over Christmas, follow me as an author. One of them will be smut! Scratch that, BOTH of them will be smut (and they actually have some form of a plot!) Yay!

As for right now, I won't just stop writing until Christmas. But I am taking a short break form segmented stories, I think.

I have ideas for different fandoms that I want to address. Got some cute and some dirty ideas for Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Free!, Black Butler, and Hetalia (alright so they're all dirty...)

Even if it's at a different time in a different place, I hope we meet again.

It's been a pleasure writing for you all:D
