"Hey Bernie!" Olivia smiled as she got out of the car and headed towards Bernie who was standing in the front yard.

"Olivia, dear, how are you? It's been too long." Bernie grinned before hugging the brunette.

"It has. I'm good!" Olivia nodded and looked at Elliot and Ava. Ava was laughing as Elliot tried to take their bags out of the car without letting any of them fall onto the ground. "Your son has been driving us crazy the whole way up here. He keeps worrying that we forgot to do something at the apartment."

Bernie chuckled. "Well, he has always been a worrier. Now, why did I only find out last month that you have a daughter?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.

Olivia laughed. "Well, I kind of kept her a secret because I didn't want my job getting to her. Plus, everyone just kind of assumed I wasn't a mother for the first year."

"Well, she's beautiful! She looks just like you." Bernie grinned, putting a hand on Olivia's back.

"Thanks Bernie! I have to agree with you. She is beautiful." Olivia smiled. She looked at her daughter. "Ava!" Ava looked at her. "Come here. I have someone here for you to meet." Ava came bounding over and smiled as she stopped in front of Bernie. "Ava, this is Bernie Stabler. Bernie, this is my daughter, Ava Manning."

Bernie smiled and gave Ava a hug. "It's so nice to meet you, Ava. Elliot has told me a lot about you."

Ava blushed slightly. "Has he now? What all has he said?"

"Well, he said that you were stubborn like your mother and that you love cookie dough." Bernie chuckled.

"Stabler!" Olivia yelled at Elliot.

Elliot looked up at her, holding all their luggage. "What?" Olivia chuckled at him.

Bernie took Ava's hand and patted it. "So, how gross is your mother with my son?"

"Oh, dear God." Olivia muttered, covering her eyes with her hand.

Ava laughed. "On a scale of one to ten, it's probably about a thirty."

Olivia watched as her daughter and Bernie walked into the house. She turned and went over to the car, helping Elliot with the bags. "So, you told your mother that Ava is as stubborn as me?"

Elliot looked at her with wide eyes. "She told you that?" Olivia nodded. He smiled lightly, chuckling nervously. "Does that make you mad?"

"No, I don't know how I feel about it actually." Olivia frowned, but recovered. "Anyway, my daughter is already friends with your mother. They already went into the house." She tugged a bag over her shoulder.

"I figured they'd get along." Elliot nodded, closing the trunk door. "Ava has been wanting to see my baby picture for God knows what reason."

Olivia chuckled. "I bet you were cute as a baby. Besides, you are basically her step father." She bumped her hip with his as they headed up to the house.

"That's true. Papa El is a lucky man!" Elliot grinned making Olivia laugh.

That night, Ava and Bernie were outside on the beach, watching the moon over the ocean. Elliot was laying on the couch, his hands under his head as Olivia laid her head on her hands while she was on top of him. She looked into his eyes. "I'm glad we came up here to see your mom. She likes seeing you, more than you know."

Elliot sighed. "I just don't trust her like I should. She's shot at me. She's gotten us into a car crash where I broke my arm. I've never trusted her to look after my kids. I like seeing her. It's just hard."

"I get that." Olivia breathed, running her finger through his chest hair that was peeking out through his shirt. "I love you, you know that?"

"Yeah, I know that." Elliot grinned, tapping her nose with his index finger. "I love you too." Slowly, he ran his finger from her forehead, down the bridge of her nose, and over her lips. "I have a question for you."

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me you're asking for another sandwich? I knew we should have brought some bread. It's like you inhale it."

Elliot chuckled. "No, although I could go for one, a sandwich was not my question." Olivia furrowed her eyebrows at him. "My question is more of a request because, if you say no, I'm pretty sure I'd die." He looked at their adjoined hands before looking into her big brown eyes. "Spend the rest of your life with me."

"Is that a marriage proposal?" Olivia asked, quirking her eyebrow.

"If you want it to be, it can be." Elliot smiled. "I don't care, Liv. I don't care if we have a small wedding with you wearing a burlap sack. I don't care if we have a huge wedding that has more people than the Kardashian's. We don't even have to get married. I just want to spend the rest of my life with you, anyway I can get it."

Olivia smiled. "So, if I say yes, we can do anything?"

Elliot grinned. "What did you have in mind?"

Elliot stood dumbfounded in front of the medicine cabinet in his old bathroom. His arm was linked with Olivia's and she had a mini children's bible in her hand. "You can perform the ceremony?"

"Yeah, when I was looking at stuff on my laptop, there was an ad that asked if I wanted to become an ordained minister. I thought 'what the hell'." Olivia chuckled. "This is my first wedding ceremony so take it easy on me if I mess up." Elliot laughed and watched as she closed her eyes and recalled the words she read online.

Two weeks had passed and everyone was upset that Olivia and Elliot got married without them there, but were ecstatic just to find out they finally tied the knot. It was the first day of Spring and the whole family was at Tripp's for a family barbeque. Tripp and Elliot were talking by the grill while Olivia and Andy were sitting in lawn chairs talking. Just as Tripp put the last burger on the grill, Ava came running out with a huge grin on her face. "Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom!"

"What? What? What? What? What?" Olivia asked, mocking her daughter. Andy laughed beside her.

"You know that band that we listened to on my birthday?" Ava asked excited.

"Yes, don't tell me one of them asked you out." Olivia smiled lightly.

Tripp chimed in, holding up his spatula. "If it's that, the answer is no!"

Ava rolled her eyes, but still had that ridiculous grin on her face. "It's better than that. The band was so impressed with my singing, they showed a tape of me to their manager. He wants me to make a record for their company after singing a few songs for the band's new album!"

"Really?!" Olivia asked with a smile.

"Yes! He just called. He really wants me to do this! And, I want to! Please!" Ava begged, getting down on her knees and pouting out her bottom lip.

Olivia grinned. "If your father says yes, we will let you do this. Only if we come to the first few recording sessions."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Ava squealed before hugging her mother. "Daddy!" She called before running over to him.

Andy grinned at a smirking Olivia. "Your daughter could become famous if Tripp says yes."

Olivia leaned back into the lawn chair, putting her shades back on. "Our daughter could become famous if Tripp says yes." She heard her daughter squeal in delight again from across the lawn. "Tripp just said yes."

Months passed and Ava became busier with her record sessions coming up. After recording with the band, they went on tour and came back so the drummer could ask Ava out. Ava, in all her glee, said yes. Today was the first recording session for Ava and Olivia was excited for her.

Olivia sat on the couch in her and Elliot's new apartment and waited for him to walk in. He had gone out for his usual morning jog and was due any moment. Olivia smiled thinking of him coming through the door. Just as she imagine his face, the door opened to show a sweaty and happy Elliot. She grinned at him. "Hey baby!"

"Hey Love! What are you doing up? I usually have to wake up when I get home from my jog." He asked kissing her head as he walked by.

"I was too excited to sleep." Olivia smiled and turned to looked at him. He looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. "El, what's something that we're missing?"

"Uh, a way to have sex all the time." Elliot grinned, leaning on the back of the couch. Olivia laughed as she turned fully to him, her backside resting on the end of the couch.

"That'd be wonderful, but no." Olivia giggled. She took his hand and rubbed his knuckles. "El, baby, I'm pregnant."

Elliot's eyes widened as he stared at her. "Pregnant? As in, you are carrying my child?" Olivia nodded. He grinned and picked her up before kissing her hard. He put her down on her feet and kneeled, putting a hand on her stomach. "The reason you're in there is because I went all the way with Mommy."

"Oh my God, Elliot!" Olivia laughed, putting her hands on his head.

Later, Olivia, Elliot, Andy, and Tripp were at the studio where Ava was recording. They walked in right as she was finishing up a song. "Wow, I want her CD already." Andy mumbled to Olivia. She nodded in agreement.

"That's great, Ava, baby. I think some people are here to see you." The guy at the control panel smiled, pressing a red button in front of him.

Ava took of her headphones and walked into the room smiling. "Hey guys!" She hugged each of them before looking at the guy at the control panel. "This is Ricky! He's my manager."

"Howdy due!" Ricky smiled, pretending to wave a cowboy hat around. He grinned at Ava. "So, I'm pretty sure I know which one is your mom, but tell me just so make sure." Ava chuckled and hugged Olivia. Olivia kissed her head. "Yes, I was right!" He held up his finger and blew on it, pretending it was a fake gun.

Olivia chuckled. "Why is wondering who I am?"

Ava smirked. "Because, you are going to be on my new album with me." Olivia's eyes widened. "It's just one song and it's one that we sing all the time. So, you know the words. I know you do!"

"Yes, but I do not sing. I chase down people and put them behind bars." Olivia frowned.

Ava grinned. "Well, not today!" She grabbed Olivia's hand and pulled her into the recording booth. Olivia folded her arms over her chest, but sat on the stool Ava provided for her. She pouted as Ava put on a set of headphones on her head before putting on her own. She gave the thumbs up to Ricky.

Olivia smiled when she heard the first notes of the song. Ava and she used to sing it everyday when she would drive Ava to school. It was Headphones by Britt Nicole. As they sang, Olivia looked over at her daughter and hugged her, knowing life couldn't get any better.
