Chapter: 2

Katniss P.O.V.

"I really hope you aren't cheating on me Edward!" A woman snapped, I squinted my eyes open to see where I was. I was in a nice ass house, a house made out of windows!
The woman who was talking had long brown hair, with a monotone voice and a boring, expressionless, yet pretty face.
"You know I wouldn't do that to you Bella," The guy named Edward states.
Hey he was the one I met in the woods earlier.
"YO I know you!" I get up from the white couch. "I know you! I met you in the woods a few minutes ago!"
The girl named Bella crosses her arms, as a tall girl with brown hair walks into the room, she looks the same age as Bell but then she calls her mommy.
"Mommy me and Jake are going to play in the woods!"
The fuck?
"Use protection and get out!" Bella shakes her head, she looks at me with red eyes as her daughter walks out of the house.
"That's not right," I snap. "Are you on Botox? that girl looks the same age as you and she's calling you mommy!"
"We're vampires," Bella answers. "We grow older quicker."
"The fuck," I say. "I must've died, and now I'm in heaven, because this is a nice ass house, and there is no such thing as a nice house in District 12. But then you people have red eyes, and I know that's not normal! Not even for the people in the Capitol."
"I saved you," Edward states. "You jumped off the cliff like you said you would, but I saved you. Now I brought you here to my family."
"You should've let her jump," Bella says. "You have to respect her decisions."
"It's ok Bella," I answer, she looks at me with disgust, probably the most expression she ever made with her face. "I'm going back into the Hunger Games, so this time they're going to try to kill me, and I'll probably die. So don't worry, I'll be out of your life in no time."
Bella shook her head and walked away.
Edward smiled. "Sorry, my wife has jealousy issues."
"Oh it's fine," I start messing with my braid. "So um, I think I should get back, I have to go back into the games and you know . . . die."
Edward nods his head, and he leads me to the door.
"It was nice meeting you," I say.
"Nice meeting you too," he replies.
"Well," I smile . . . walking away from the door until I'm completely down the porch steps. "Are you going to walk me home? I don't know my way around these woods."
Edward smiles, and he looks pleased to be leaving his house.
