Author's note:

To be clear, I started this story just because I was listening to a fairy tail song and I didn't even know how to end it or even know what I should put for the plot. So I tried to work harder for the story and had so many writer's blocks. And I had very hard time writing something aside from romance and you can check it yourself, go visit my profile and you will find out that I didn't write anything except for romance until now. So, you have to adapt with my way of writing and bear with it or else you can simply stop reading my story, for who doesn't like it of course.

From the beginning I've decided to write the whole story about Natsu losing his arm and how he was able to recover the pain he got from it and didn't plan to write anything aside from it. And being able to recover from that pain was the plot I had to do. I also remember things about asking for ideas in the very first chapters but no one gave me an opinion so I just wrote in the way I wanted to.

Thanks my lovely readers who still admires and read my works and sorry if I ever disappointed you in anything.

Chapter24

The pink haired guy opened his eyes slowly to look at the front of him. He felt like his belly wasn't hurting anymore and felt like he wasn't dizzy anymore. He opened his eyes wide open and moved his head to look at the window to realize that train was already stopped. He moved his to look at his friends to realize his female friend was already awake

"Ah, Natsu you are awake. I was planning to wake you up." Lucy the blonde mage stated as she stretched her arms above her head. She yawned as she closed both of her eyes shut and squirmed in her place. "It was a very good nap!"

"Did we already reach?" the man said in a very sleepy voice as he moved his head back to the window once again and then looked back at the blonde.

"Yeah, we reached but no one got out from the train yet." Lucy stood up as she walked to where the blue cat lied and pinched both of his cheeks and started to pull them out. "Come on, you lazy cat. Wake up or we will leave you in the train." Lucy kept pulling his cheeks and Natsu kept watching what they were doing and Happy was groaning in pain.

As I said, the salamander was watching them but his mind was in a different place. He was so sleepy but was actually thinking of the dreams he was having in his sleep. First, he dreamed about him losing Igneel and then he dreamed about joining fairy tail. Was this actually normal for someone even to dream about a memory and why it was now anyway.

He moved his hand to his face and started rubbing it trying to wake himself up. But no matter what he tried to think about, he couldn't remove the thoughts of these two memories.

He had never really forgotten about these two days that changed his life up until now and he doesn't think he could actually forget about them because they are so important to him. One was about losing a very important thing to him which is Igneel and the other was about earning something which friends.

Natsu raised his head suddenly as he realized something. He moved his head to look at the two who was still doing the same thing. He just found out that it's the same thing as back then. 'Losing' and 'Earning' it was actually the same. He lost his arm and instead, he won friends that actually still cares for him and afraid to lose him. That's right, this was the life. To win something, you have to lose something in exchange. Natsu let out a sigh and then smiled when he saw how Happy scratched Lucy's face with his claws after meanly waking him up by pinching his cheeks.

They were his friends, he just adored them.

"You evil cat!" the blonde girl wiped her face with a white tissue and crying.

"You started it so you have to bear it." The blue exceed smirked as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes. Lucy watched him walking and talking in a very teasing way, she wanted to hit him but she just can't do something like that because she didn't want to get hurt again by his claws.

"He is right Lucy, you started it." The pink haired dragon slayer said as he looked from the corner of his eyes at the girl walking next to him and glaring at the flying cat that walked in the front.

"I was just waking him up, is it wrong?!" Lucy snapped as the three of them got out from the train's station and stood in front of the door as they kept talking.

"It's not wrong but just don't pinch his cheeks." Natsu laughed as he remembered when she was pinching him and then he started scratching her.

"Okay, I'm sorry!"

Natsu laughed for several more seconds and then stopped and wiped the tears after laughing so hard. He looked at Lucy trying to be serious this time.

"We still have 2 more hours, what will you do?" the woman looked back at him and removed the tissue as she put her hand down to her side letting out a sigh.

"Two hours? That's great! I should go take a very warm bath and give the landlady her money." She said as she fixed her bag on her back and looked back at the salamander.

"Ok, we will tell Mira and the others that we came back." The man slowly said tightening his pack back on his back and looking at the blue cat that was busy eating a fish.

"Shall we go, aibo?"

The three of them started walking, two of them had the same intentions and the other one had a different intentions. Well, it wasn't much important now as much as it mattered that smile that never left Natsu's face and that caught Happy's attention.

"Hmm? Why do you look so happy?"

Natsu moved his head to look at him with that smile of his. "Hmm?" he move his head back to the other direction grinning.

"You can say that I discovered something fun."
