Prowl scrubbed his face, one of many habits he had unconsciously picked up from Sparkplug after the elder Witwicky had faced a very long and tiring day of work, whether it be at the body shop with demanding customers or dealing with harassing paparazzi and protesters. It was a nonsensical gesture, in all honesty, yet it helped allowed some space to think things out, logical or illogical.

Glancing over Perceptor's summary and notes riddled with terms and phrases straight out of the Oxford dictionary and their Cybertronian equivalent, the second-in-command officer was surprised that the interviewed - more like interrogated - Djinn hadn't come begging for mercy or some form of respite. Picking up Skyfire's report (mercifully much more simplified while supplementing with his own observations), Prowl surmised it was the curiosity of being partnered with living metallic creatures that kept them from, well, "losing it". He supposed the feeling was mutual as well, their own Autobot Adepts being partnered with organic creatures that appeared more fitting in myths and legends retold in books or video games. A soft snort of amusement, as Prowl wondered what would the reactions be of the more traditionalists - those that saw any form of organics "inferior" - that would be back on Cybertron, before quickly dismissing the thought. Many of them were long gone, early victims after not believing that war would eventually break out, and although a few of the Autobots here occasionally projected that perspective, it was all but eroded away by their human friends (alongside their sideways thinking that constantly surprised or impressed the mechs).

A brief check of his chronometer indicated that he had already used up the break time he had allotted for himself, and Prowl went back to categorizing the Adepts' abilities for future reference. It wasn't something that Optimus had assigned him to do, but it was one that was necessary in case other humans became far too curious for their own safety and they would need plausible explanations if they were caught on footage. Already the Djinn were told that they can't be summoned within cities, partly in fear of collateral damages, and only in remote areas where the chances of running into someone with a camera was extremely low. (Contrary to popular belief, the Autobots did NOT have Hero Insurance, no matter how much Sideswipe joked - they always stuck around to help rebuild and clean up, and more than half of the traffic tickets were paid off via community services.) Most of them were rather understanding, having no desire to be turned into test subjects, although there was disappointment amongst the more rambunctious Djinn. At that thought, Prowl added a reminder to think up explanations on the possibility of any Djinni being caught on camera, although he'll have to ask Spike and Raoul to act as temporary videographers for some testing. Just in case. (Now wouldn't Red Alert be proud of that thought?)

"Due to his pacifistic nature, Beachcomber does not utilize offensive Psynergy often during situations when we're forced into combat. However, he does excel on creating defensive barriers and prefer Psynergy that can greatly inhibit most of the ground-based Decepticons' movements. Defensive wise, he is capable of creating stone walls with traits of high melting points, resistant to all but the most powerful of plasma or energy shots, and high density that is able to withstand most close-range weapons and a majority of missiles. There are some ideas of using plants - thorn patches, vines, bamboo - to act as additional determent, although we have yet to test how sturdy he can make them.

"Optimus, while quite capable defensive-wise, shows high proficiency with offensive Venus Psynergy and quite often uses the lay of the land to his advantage. Although he is able to artificially create stalactites that would appear out of thin air, Optimus tends to opt for the more subtle ways so as not to tip off the Decepticons, especially Megatron. Said subtle methods would include discretely opening holes or causing a rock to come up from the ground. A better example would be the time when we were fighting at a drilling rig in the Wind River Range, Prime caused a landslide that slowed down the Stunticons and Constructicons, and caused a great deal of fir and pine trees to impede most of the fliers. In situations where we're fighting in mines or caves, stalagmites were utilized alongside stalactites (he is careful which ones he lets loose). The advantage for both of them being Venus Adepts is the basic ability to heal and revive others from stasis, albeit on a limited basis of one mech at a time. This would tie into how plants have been used for their various healing properties, past and present, so it wasn't much of a surprise after some research in other forms of Earth medicines.

"Ironhide and First Aid couldn't be any more of a textbook example in near complete opposites. Despite early misgivings, Ironhide seems to have embraced the advantages of being a Mars Adept, namely being able to create any form of detonation and as well a higher tolerance to heat. In regards to the fire tetrahedron, oxygen and heat is more or less readily available, whereas fuel and chain reaction does take some lateral thinking with the type of liquid he can shoot out of his water gun. However, the Mars Djinn have been able to teach Ironhide to create fire without needing his gun - by focusing on heating the air in a concentrated area, he can ignite and gather the burning minute particulate into a sizable fireball. If he requires something akin to a grenade, additional Psynergy changes the composition to what he wants (incendiary-type fireballs are highly effective, although Optimus has requested Ironhide to try for something akin to a flash bang).

"First Aid, on the other hand, is able to repair injuries on a level just about on par to Ratchet, generally the size of a squad. This apparently draws on human mythology in that while water can heal, fire is also used to purify, in which it can be considered another form of healing. In a sense, it's no different than when humans have fevers, their immune system and raised core temperature fighting against whatever virus or bacteria within their bodies. First Aid does have offense Psynergy but like Beachcomber, doesn't utilize them often and usually only when in defense of the injured. However, he does use buffing and debuffing Psynergy to great effect, to much amusement on our part whenever the Decepticons are surprised by the lack of effect of their attacks.

"Speaking of our junior medic, this leads to Ratchet, and subsequently Cliffjumper as our Mercury Adepts. Much like First Aid, our Chief Medical Officer can do repairs on both single mechs or a large group, yet he has additional Psyerngy abilities to clear out most status-affects, such as being stunned or being infected with a virus. (Ratchet has begun to hide the fact that he's installing patch and firewall upgrades by pretending he's removing any potentially lingering viruses.) Bolstering his repairing abilities is his somewhat more... liberal use of Mercury Psynergy." Prowl sent a prayer to Primus for additional patience, recalling security footage of their CMO freezing the more rowdy mechs in place from fleeing the med bay. "His... inventive use notwithstanding, Ratchet's battle Psynergy usage ranges mostly in average.

"Above average would be Cliffjumper, who similarly to Ironhide, has found benefits of being an Adept. One thing he quickly took advantage of was using icicles as additional ammunition should he ever run out - which doesn't happen often - and also utilizing icicles for sniping, thus pairing him with Bluestreak is a plausible idea (it must be noted that Cliffjumper does still have a certain limit to Bluestreak's chatter when not under extreme combat pressure). As Mercury Adepts have been primarily healers in the past, Cliffjumper is also able to instigate repairs among others, but like Optimus and Beachcomber, only one at a time. The Mercury Djinn has clarified that warrior-type Adepts of their element are capable of healing but due to a different form of discipline that follows most Venus Adepts, their Psynergy diverges a bit and leans toward the offense side.

"Lastly are our Jupiter Adepts, Silverbolt and Swoop. The two aren't that much different in terms of Psynergy offense, defense, and support, although they both lack healing Psynergy at the moment. Said lack is made up of their support Psynergy of buffing or debuffing, depending on whoever is available to do so if they aren't occupied with running interference against the Seekers or Vortex. With the Jupiter Djinn, Silverbolt has shown some... marginal improvement over his acrophobia, directing which Djinni to support which of our own fliers (Powerglide and Tracks have given some minor vocal complaints, but their behavior otherwise indicate gratitude for the help) or our ground units. Swoop's bombardier skills have also increased in conjunction with lightning strikes or tornadoes, although he prefers being able to do so when the weather is favorable - both fliers have stated it's not as much of a strain on their Psynergy levels when a natural storm is within the vicinity. The Jupiter Djinn have stated that with enough training and practicing, Jupiter Adepts are capable of using multi-unit healing Psynergy, but they're unable to remember the specifics currently."

Sipping from his cube, Prowl mused at the additional combinations between all four elements, even between opposing ones. Although both Ratchet and Cliffjumper could create fog on their own as one example, Ironhide and First Aid lending a hand to create steam was an added bonus on interfering with thermal scanning - it was a lot simpler than having to ask either Silverbolt or Swoop to land, which was risky in itself since both fliers have to keep a constant sensor out for winds or stray missiles. And then there were the summons, which was as Raoul put it, a different ball game, due to the amount of destruction a 4-Djinn group was capable of. Prowl could already feel his logic processor initiating his "go-with-the-flow" subroutine at the thought of possible dual-elemental summons. Perceptor had stated in his summary that to call upon those had some additional requirements, so it was a bit of a relief - none of the Djinn could quite remember the exact combination and what they did recall was that stone tablets hidden away around Earth carried the information on how to bring about dual-elemental summons. He supposed it was a good thing that that gave him some extra time on working things out that he might not have calculated yet, such as the possibility of the Decepticons having their own Adepts (a frightening thought, but not out of the realm).

Looking at his agenda, Prowl debated on what to do with the Djinn during off-times and decided it could wait after he finished going through the day's datapads and messages. Such as considering on taking up the offer to attend a law enforcement convention in Las Vegas alongside Nightbeat and Red Alert.
