AN: Merlin belongs to some people who are not me.

Merlin reflected how perhaps the prophecies maybe hadn't been that true. Apparently, he was very much capable of evil...at least, if you asked Arthur now.

Arthur's face was the very image of terror, though he was desperately trying to hide it. Merlin sat calmly next to him, very much enjoying this. Not that he would tell Arthur that. He smiled as a pleasant breeze ruffled his hair. He thought he heard a hastily stifled whimper coming from Arthur.

"Why did you do this?" Arthur whispered. "Do you want me to die?"

"Nah," Merlin replied casually. "Stop freaking out. You'll be fine."

Arthur's incredulity was painfully clear. "Fine?!" he repeated in a high voice. "This would make even Camelot's bravest knights cower in fear."

"I can see that," Merlin replied with a grin.

Arthur suddenly became very silent, and Merlin could see why.

"Any second now..."

And sure enough, a moment later they plunged downward.

Merlin would never, ever forget the sound Arthur made. It was the highest of high screams, and it took all of his willpower not to melt into laughter. He'd done this before, and therefore was past the initial fear. The same could not be said for Arthur, who was still mentally stuck in the Middle Ages.

To Arthur, it seemed to last for ages, during most of which he could be heard muttering "I'm going to die, I'm going to die." For Merlin, it was all too short. It reminded him of the few occasions he got away with riding on Kilgarrah's back.

Finally, mercifully, it was over. Once Arthur was able to unclench his hands off the bar, he walked away on wobbly legs, looking very grateful that it had ended.

"So, what did you think?" Merlin asked, grinning, feeling better than he had in centuries.

Arthur's pale face turned to him.

"I am never letting you drag me onto a roller coaster again."

In case you were wondering, yes, I did get the idea from the video diaries :3 Those guys are amazing...
