Authors note: Hi! Okay you are probably pissed off at me for taking so long to update and I just wanted to apologize. Here is the next chapter. It's kind of short and I'm also sorry for that too, but there is some good news. I decided not to end this just yet because I have a little more to add to this story. I hope you enjoy this next chapter and reviews are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Feliciano ran as fast as he could.

He tried so hard to see where he was going, but the tears kept running from his eyes causing his vision to blur. He was thankful that he knew his way around town and there was only one person he could trust and go to in this situation.

He made his way through town past a couple of people who stared at him strangely because he was crying so hard. He felt like the world's biggest idiot. He knew since the beginning when their feelings for one another were blooming, that he should have stopped it all.

But no. His heart was weak. It was something new in his life that he wanted to hold onto. If only Antonio wasn't married to his brother and if only they met each other first, then they would have been perfect for one another.

Feliciano started to feel kind of sick and slowed down his running. He still was a little hung over from the night before and running and crying on an empty stomach was not doing him well right now.

He felt nauseous and soon stopped running all together to catch his breath. He found an empty spot on the grass by the market and decided to sit down there for a little while until his nausea subsided.

Even though he stopped crying, just thinking about what just happened caused him to sob out once more. He ruined his relationship with Lovino and he was probably never going to see Antonio ever again. It was heartbreaking. He couldn't take it.

He needed to see his friend. He needed to talk to Ciana.

After a moment of calming down, he got up again and started making his way through the market in town. Ciana didn't live too far which he was thankful for as he made his way to her house. As he was walking he couldn't help but wonder if Antonio had left the house already and if later on Lovino would talk to him at all. At least he should have a chance to explain himself why it had happened and apologized. But that's if Lovino would hear him out judging by the way he was upset before. He never saw Lovino upset like that before. It made him feel horrible and he had every right to hate him.

Though the apology would go on forever at this point because he knew that there was nothing he could say or do to have Lovino forgive him.

Eventually he made it to Ciana's house and walked up to her doorstep. He wasn't sure if she was home because it was still the morning time and he knew she usually went into town and visited her friends and such. But he figured it was worth a try, so he knocked on her door and waited.

When there was no answer, he tried once more but a little harder and then he suddenly heard someone call from inside.

"Be there one minute!"

The voice sounded feminine and familiar. Feliciano nervously waited outside and before he could wipe the tears that stained his face, the door opened.

Ciana was there right in front of him with that cheery smile of hers. Though it disappeared right away once she saw Feli's condition.

"Oh! Feliciano…Is everything okay?" She asked with concern and a frown.

Feliciano couldn't bring himself to speak because of the lump forming in his throat. Tears started to form again and he wanted to smack himself for being such a weak person.

"What's wrong? Tell me what happened?"

"I-" He let out a pitiful sob. "I told him.." He looked down to his feet as more tears started running down his face as he tried his best to hold his tears back.

"Come in let's talk please." Ciana let him in the house and walked him over to her couch. She sat him down and went to go get some tissues so he could wipe his face clean.

Feliciano sat there with his head down and then was presented with a tissue in front of his face. He took it and thanked her for the tissue. He wiped his face and sniffed once more before taking in a deep shaky breath to calm himself down.

"You know I'm here for you right? You don't have to tell me right away what's going on if you don't want to. Just know that you can talk to me about anything. Okay?"

He felt really grateful at that moment for having such a nice friend like Ciana. He wondered if he didn't have feelings for Antonio that maybe things would be different and they would get married and live together happily. But just having her as a good friend was just as great and he was glad she was so understanding about everything. He honestly felt like he didn't deserve it at all.

He lifted his head from the position it was in and turned to look at her. Her face was contorted with concern. He probably looked horrible, but she seemed to not care about that. She only wanted to help. And he would let her.

He took in a deep breath and spoke. "Ciana..I told Lovino. I told him that I slept with his husband. With Antonio."

Feliciano felt sick for saying it again, but he was glad he did because the next thing he knew her hand was on his in a calming matter. He looked to her eyes and she gave him a knowing smile.

"I know how you feel Feli. I know because it happened to me too. I honestly knew this would happen and you knew it would too. I know that you feel that your brother probably hates you right now, but just know that he doesn't. Of course he's very upset, but don't you feel a little better that you finally let it out now?"

Feliciano never had a chance to think about it in that way because just a half hour ago things were chaotic. But now that she mentioned it, he did feel somewhat better. A little less came off his shoulders at his admittance and even though it was difficult to say it, he did feel a little better that he wasn't hiding anything from his brother anymore.

He wondered if Ciana was right about Lovino not hating him. It was so easy for his brother to lash out and hate someone forever just for the littlest things. On the other hand, maybe she was right. Maybe his brother would talk to him again someday after he had calmed down. Though in the meantime, where would he stay?

Suddenly he felt sick all over again. He had nowhere to stay. He couldn't ask to stay at Ciana's because that wouldn't be proper, and he couldn't go back home because it was just too fresh from the fight to show his face there this soon. He needed a couple of days to think and figure things out.

Feliciano didn't realize that he was thinking to himself so much that he got a tap on the hand from Ciana.

"Well? Am I right?"

"O-oh! Yea..I guess I do feel a little better.." Feliciano gave a small smile which caused Ciana's face to light up.

"See! I told you. Now all we have to do is work together to get your brother to talk to you again. Family always comes first and I think you have a beautiful heart Feli. You deserve to explain yourself!"

Feliciano wanted to feel happy and better at that moment. But he just couldn't match to her hopeful feelings on this situation. He was always the optimist, but now lately things have been taking another turn.

But he didn't agree with something. He didn't have the right to explain himself because there was really nothing he could explain to his brother. He already committed the sin so why was it even worth explaining the situation to him? On top of that, would he even listen to what he had to say?

At the same time, he felt that maybe if he tried then things would hopefully turn out okay later on. So he just gave her a half hearted smile and nodded.

"Si. Let's do it." Ciana smiled again and gave him a big hug causing him to yelp and blush.

It all seemed to be nice what she was saying to him. Ciana has been right about everything so far. So would it hurt to believe her on her hunch once again? Maybe the girl knew more and had more experience with these kinds of things than he thought.

And even though it was completely wrong, and he shouldn't be thinking about it at all, he couldn't help but to think of Antonio and what he was doing right now.

Antonio grabbed his shirts and pants from his dresser and placed it into his suitcase. Just before he had made a call to one of his friends back in his country and he had made plans to live with him for a little while until he could afford his own place. Though he really didn't want to leave, but he had no choice since he had no place to stay here now. Also his marriage was ruined and Lovino probably wanted a divorce which he would agree with.

It hurt that he had to leave behind all of this. His own house with Lovino and Feliciano. The memories of them living together would always be in his heart and especially one memory he would hold on to.

He wondered where Feliciano went and if he would stop by the house soon before he left. The last thing he wanted was to say goodbye even though he knew that he probably hated him right now for ruining his and Lovino's relationship as brothers.

He had committed a sin. A sin that he would forever have to suffer from and he deserved to be alone in this world. Maybe he wasn't meant to love. Maybe this was just a test in his life to show what his future would be like. He would grow old alone and now he would accept it because it's what he deserved all along.

Antonio finished packing up his last personal items and zipped up his suit case. Lovino was still in the house, but he had locked himself in the bathroom for an hour now because Antonio had to go in their room and pack his things.

Before when he knocked on his door, Lovino had let him in surprisingly. He was sitting on their bed with his head in his hands as he got up quickly and didn't even bother to make eye contact with him.

He knew already that their relationship was totally over. There was no going back at this point.

Antonio still had some feelings left for Lovino, though they were not as strong as his feelings for Feliciano. He still wanted to apologize to him because they were in fact still married together. He didn't just want to leave the house without saying something because that would just be wrong and cowardly of him.

He sighed and picked up his suitcase and walked out of the room. The house was quiet and had an eerie feeling to it. He closed the bedroom door behind him and saw from across the hall that the light was on in the bathroom and obviously he was still in there.

Antonio slowly made his way to the bathroom and stopped just in front of it. He listened in to see if he was crying and had calmed down, but he heard nothing.

He took in a breath and spoke. "Lovino?"

There was no answer so he sighed and tried again. "Lovino please open up. I know you don't want to talk and I understand. But I just wanted to say goodbye."

There was still no answer and that's all Antonio needed to know that he should leave now. After a few moments he gave up sadly and turned to walk down the hall. He only took a couple of steps before the bathroom door opened. He looked back and saw that Lovino had stepped out and was staring at him.

He didn't look angry anymore; in fact he looked worn out and tired.

"You're leaving now?" He spoke and the sound of his voice was different and sounded sad.

Antonio nodded. "I am." 'Though I don't want to go…'

"Oh.." Lovino looked to the floor because he had trouble keeping eye contact with him. Then he took in a shaky breath. "So you're going back home then?"

"My plane leaves in another hour."

Lovino pursed his lips and nodded. "Where is Feliciano?"

It surprised him that he would ask for his brother and then suddenly he felt horrible again for what he had done. Even though his brother had betrayed him, he was still worried for him.

"I don't know."

"He didn't come by at all?"

"Not that I know of."

"Oh." Lovino took in another deep breath and looked up to meet his eyes. He could see the pain in the Spaniards face but he couldn't bring himself to cry. For some reason he wasn't all that sad about this. He only cared for his brother at this point more than he cared about Antonio leaving.

"I..um. I'm going now."

"Yea." Lovino looked away again and Antonio frowned. The man really did hate him and he thought it'd be best if he left now. "I guess I'll see you around."

Lovino let out a huff. "No you won't."

Antonio frowned and looked down. "You're right I won't...bye Lovi."

With that Antonio turned around and headed out of the house. Lovino didn't even bother to stop him as he stepped outside and closed the door behind him. He had left his key on the kitchen table because he would no longer need it.

It was kind of strange leaving like this. It was even stranger how Lovino didn't seem that upset about this whole situation. In fact, he didn't seem to care at all and he was only worried about the whereabouts of his brother. If anything he could have sworn that he wanted to say something as well, but he just shook it off.

He thought that maybe the man would cry for him or show some sort of emotion, but everything he expressed was somewhat blank and distant. It confused him but there was no point in asking him about it because it didn't matter anymore. He was moving on now to start his new life. He had to forget about Lovino. And he had to forget about Feliciano…

Feliciano. He missed him so much already. He wanted nothing more in this moment to say one last goodbye to him. He wished he had come back just so he could tell him how sorry he was and that he loved him.

It's amazing how one can fall in love so fast. It's crazy how he could be married one minute and then fall in love with another in the next. He thought he loved Lovino like that and yes they shared great times together. But it just wasn't the same as the times he spent with Feliciano. They had a rare connection and he wanted to hold onto it, but now he knew that they were not meant to be…

The sweet young man who was full of joy and returned his love in all the right ways wasn't meant to be with him. He never saw what was right in front of his eyes all along, and now it was gone. He could never have his love again because he was leaving now for good. All he could think about at this moment was if he was safe and had a friend to go to for now. He also wished for Lovino to forgive his brother and to live a peaceful happy life together.

Feliciano was all he had. His only family. It wouldn't be right if he didn't accept his apology. Lovino could be tough sometimes, but he hoped he would calm down a little and then look for his brother.

Antonio sighed again and took one last look at the home where he lived at for so long. It was his home too and he felt sick for leaving it behind. Maybe Spain would do better for him. Maybe staying there would ease his heart over time so that he wouldn't have to live with this guilt for the rest of his life.

He turned around again and looked to the open road that led to town. His eyes started watering up and a couple of tears fell down his cheeks. He sniffed and wiped it away before he began walking to catch a ride to the nearest airport.

'Goodbye.'

Feliciano ended up staying with Ciana for a couple of days. It felt really weird to be living at a girl's house, but she kept explaining to him that they were friends and that it was okay. He still felt pathetic though. He wanted so badly to just return home, but Lovino was obviously still very upset with him. He didn't know if he would ever talk to him again and he grew depressed over it.

During his stay over at Ciana's, he didn't eat much. He just mostly slept the day and didn't leave the guest room that she had provided him. Ciana tried to reason with him to eat and he would get a couple of bites in, but then he would feel sick and stop. She was growing worried about him because he would soon lose weight and he couldn't afford that because he was already on the skinny side.

"Per favore Feliciano eat something. You're going to get too skinny!" She exclaimed and nudged him in his bed. He was covered with a blanket and only his hair stuck out.

"I'm not hungry." He whined.

"Come on, you can't keep doing this to yourself. You're going to get sick!"

"I don't care."

Ciana frowned and placed the plate of food on his night stand.

"Fine. If you won't get up, I'll do it by force."

She went to his bed and grabbed the comforter and quickly ripped it off of him. He immediately bent his body in and covered his face like a child.

"Ugh, come on! Get up already! You can't just lay here and die."

"Yes I can."

Ciana growled and grabbed him by his legs and dragged him off of bed until he hit the floor with a yelp. He had no idea she was that strong for a petite girl that she was and it caught him completely off guard.

"Ow..Ciana why'd you do that for?" Feliciano frowned up at her while rubbing his behind.

"Because you are making yourself depressed and this isn't like you! Now get up and come to the kitchen and eat the pasta I made for you!"

Feliciano sighed and got up from the floor. Ciana left the room as he began to get dressed slowly, not really wanting to do so in the first place.

'Maybe she is right. Maybe I am making myself depressed. I should be strong right now, but I just can't.' Feliciano thought as he finished zipping up his pants. He thought he was the worst person on earth and that he didn't deserve having a brother or anyone to love for the matter. But he knew he couldn't keep living like this and he had to move on or else he would become sick like she said. So he straightened himself up and sucked in a breath to calm himself down.

'I can do this. Today I am going to call my Fratello and see if we can meet to talk.' Feliciano nodded to himself sternly and walked out the room to the kitchen.

The smell of pasta made his mouth water. He hasn't eaten much during his stay at Ciana's. But for some reason since he gained a little more confidence he felt his appetite spring. Pasta was his favorite. He just couldn't resist.

He sat down at the kitchen table and watched as Ciana prepared their plates pouring homemade tomato sauce over the pasta. When she finished she brought it over to the table and served him happily.

"Here you go. Please make sure to eat at least most of it." She smiled.

Feliciano gave a small smile back. "Si, I'll try."

"Good. Now let's eat."

They ate in silence and even though it seemed it would be awkward, it was actually quite comfortable. Feliciano noticed that Ciana was meant to be his good friend all along because everything they did together wasn't weird or out of place. They didn't act like boyfriend and girlfriend, but they were getting close in more of a friend like way.

Feliciano, surprisingly after a couple of days, finished his full plate of pasta. Ciana noticed and smiled. "I'm happy to see you got your appetite back."

"Mm." Feliciano sat back in his hair feeling content for the first time in a couple of days. He felt full and at ease for once.

"Thank you for the food. It was really good." Feliciano smiled and it warmed her heart.

"No problem Feli. Anything you need just please let me know." She winked at him.

"Grazie." He then got up from the table and brought his plate over to the sink to wash it. But then Ciana got up quickly and went to his side taking the plate out of his hand.

"No don't worry about this. I'll clean go and relax now." She smiled warmly and began to wash their plates.

"Oh..okay. Grazie." Feliciano made his way out of the kitchen and into the living room. He sat down on the couch and relaxed into it trying to get comfortable. He had to admit that getting some food into had him made him feel much better and more focused. Before he just felt like crap and wanted to die in his bed. Though he still wasn't feeling so well.

It was still bothering him about the situation that happened between his brother and Antonio. He wondered how his brother was doing and if Antonio was still at the house. He figured he would man up and call his brother to see if they could talk about things. Though was it too early to make amends?

He didn't know if he was rushing things by calling so soon, but he really wanted to talk to his brother. Just to see if he was okay…

He then decided that it was never too early to speak to his Fratello and he wanted to call him. He got up from the couch and made his way back to the kitchen. He peaked in and saw Ciana humming to herself while drying off the dishes with a towel.

"Ah..Ciana?"

She turned around and faced him with a towel and plate in hand. "Si Feli?"

"Can I uh…use your phone please?"

"Oh sure! It's in my room down the hall next to my bed. You can go in and use it no problem." She smiled.

He smiled back. "Ah, grazie." He made his way down the hall and slowly entered her room. Her room was scented with a faint flowery smell that made him feel relaxed. The room was also very clean and organized. It was much better looking than the room he had back at home. He kept his own room clean as well, but it never smelled as nice as this.

He spotted the phone by her bedside as he went over and sat down on the edge of the bed. He stared at the phone for a couple of seconds thinking about what he would say if he got to speak with him. So he took a deep breath and picked up the phone. While dialing his brother's number he couldn't help but feel nervous. His heart started to beat faster and his hands were starting to sweat.

The phone started to ring a couple of times and now Feliciano was starting to worry that maybe his brother wouldn't answer.

Did he know it was him? No he couldn't. This was an unknown number to him so there shouldn't be a reason why he wouldn't answer it right?

Eventually it reached the voice mail and his heart dropped. He really wanted to hear his brother's voice and not a stupid voice recording of it. But just hearing his Fratello say his phone greeting made him yearn to talk to him even more.

Then he started thinking that this wasn't good. Maybe he went out and something happened to him? Maybe he got so upset that he ran away too and never would come back home again?

No…that would be too dramatic. Lovi would never do such a thing. But then at the same time he never saw him that upset before in his life. He very well might be out or maybe he was at home but just didn't want to answer the phone.

Then he decided that he would go back to the house. Screw hiding away like a coward when he could speak about things with his only family that he had. He may have lost Antonio, but he damn well wasn't going to lose his brother too.

He got up from the bed and quickly made it to his room. He quickly put on his shoes and grabbed his wallet as he exited his room and hurried down the hallway to where Ciana was in the kitchen. When he got to the kitchen she wasn't there. He went over to the living room and spotted her sitting on the couch reading a book.

He came up from behind her and tapped her on the shoulder causing her to jump.

"Ah! Oh my Feli don't scare me like that!" She laughed.

"Heh, sorry. I just wanted to let you know that, um, I am leaving and I thank you again for letting me stay here and being there for me."

Her eyes widened. "Wait, so you're going back home now?" She started to get up slowly from the couch.

"Si." Feliciano stood tall and wanted to prove to her that he was serious about this and was ready to fix things.

"Feli I am so happy for you. Please come back to me and let me know how everything went." She then ran over to him and pulled him into a tight hug. "Good luck."

He hugged back closing his eyes while breathing in her sweet scent of perfume. "Thanks." She pulled away and looked him over.

"You know…I never got to tell you, but I always knew you were a good person…and if things were different…then you know…ah.." She blushed a bit but Feli knew exactly what she had meant.

"Yea, I know. I'm sorry that things are different. You are a good friend Ciana. I'll see you later." He smiled and went to the front door to leave.

As he made his way out he grabbed the doorknob and closed his eyes taking in a deep breath.

Today was the day. The day he was going to see his brother and apologize. He would explain about everything no matter how much it was going to hurt to get out. But he needed this to happen. His brother deserved to know the truth about things and what had led to this.

He couldn't help but also wonder if he would get to speak to Antonio as well…

'I can do this.' He thought as he quickly opened the door and took one step outside.

Then he bumped into someone.

"Ah, ow!" Feliciano rubbed his head as he realized that he collided into someone else. But the other person didn't react. He looked up slowly and his eyes widened in shock.

There stood Lovino staring at him with tears down his cheeks and eyes that were red from crying. He looked sad and obviously had been crying a lot.

"Lo-Lovi?"

Lovino nodded and moved forward quickly pulling Feliciano into a tight hug. He started to sob and Feliciano was so much in shock that he didn't know how to react. Suddenly he snapped out of it and realized that his own Fratello was really in front of him and hugging him. Tears started to form in his own eyes as he hugged back tightly. Lovino started to sob quietly as he cried into his shoulder. Feli rubbed his back trying to calm him down.

He was trying himself to calm down as well and seeing his brother cry like this only made it worse.

"I am so sorry Fratello." Lovino sobbed into his shoulder.

"D-Don't say that. I am the one who is sorry." Feliciano whispered back now pulling away slowly and looking into Lovino's tear stained eyes. His hazel eyes were a brighter green from the crying and he couldn't help but feel that he looked so beautiful. A bitter sweet beautiful.

"There's so much…so much I…ugh!" Lovino covered his eyes trying to stop his crying because he felt so pathetic at that moment crying out to his little brother like this. He never felt so vulnerable in his life.

"What's wrong Fratello? Please you can tell me." Feliciano pleaded with him pulling his hands away from his eyes so that he can get his attention.

"This is not your fault. It's mine! All of this was my fault!"

"W-What are you saying Lovi? I don't understand-"

"I am the one who should be sorry! I am the fuck up!" Lovino cried out and Feliciano flinched back a little.

"What do y-you mean?"

Lovino looked away and cringed. He grit his teeth together and wanted to let what he wanted to say out so badly but he just couldn't.

"Fratello? Please tell me what's wrong?" Lovino looked back into Feliciano's eyes.

He took in a breath and sobbed once more before he finally composed himself a little and spoke.

"There's something you need to know Feliciano."

Feliciano waited patiently to see what he wanted to say.

Lovino looked into his eyes with a look of regret, sadness and guilt.

"I cheated on Antonio."

Okay...so short chapter, kind of sucked, sorry. I know a couple of you might be upset that Lovino had cheated on Antonio, and some guessed and were right about it ;), but this was my main idea from the very beginning when I started this story. Trust me, things will start to patch up soon and things will be explained in the next chapter. Please review, thanks!
