Hey guys! It has been a loooong time since I last wrote for this particular fic... I thought this was in order! BONUS CHAPTER! Finally the wedding! This, sadly, will probably be the last or second last chapter. I have one other in mind, but it is coming along very slowly. Also... Characters from a fic from my old account(notjustafangirl) appear in this one. So, with out further ramblings, here is Bonus Chapter 1, Crimson and Cream:

It took a year of meticulous planning, but the day was here. It was June 27th, the third anniversary of Lucy Baker's first day at the Mystery Room, and was now the day of her wedding. Last year on her birthday, her mentor and boyfriend at the time, Alfendi Layton, had proposed to her. Every day after that, Lucy had silently planned her wedding. It had been decided that they would be wed on a beach, just so that Alfendi would have go outside. However, the couple would tie the knot without their own personal touches. The couple had decided to write their own vows, and asked the Commissioner to be the Justice of the Peace. The Prof let Lucy decide the colors, but found it odd when he wasn't allowed to know. Her bridal party was also to be a surprise today. All he knew was that Florence Sich, a dear friend to both Al and Lucy and the head of forensics at the Scotland Yard, would be the maid of honor.

Al hadn't been as secretive. His groomsmen were to be Sniffer Hague, Dustin Scowers, his uncle, and Lucy's little cousin James, who Alfendi had promised when he and Lucy had announced their engagement to the family. They were allowed to know colors, but no, he wasn't. The only clue given to him that it would go well with a black suit. It was a rather vague clue, as the only color that clashed with black in Alfendi's mind was a navy blue. Lucy's last surprise would be Alfendi's tie, which should be coming any moment now. He suspected that Florence would come along sometime, with the common 'don't hurt my best-friend' speech. Like I ever would.

A ruckus was going on outside Al's dressing room. Alfendi turned his as a girl's shouts were muffled by his groomsmen, who were trying to hold whoever it was back. It seemed the female in question was undeniably strong physically, as well as strong-willed. All of the men, other than James, who was too little, were being physically strained to put up a fight. Curious, he walked over to see what was going on, Sniffer pulled away from the crowd, pushing him back.

"She's a feisty one, Al," the junior detective said breathlessly. "How are you going to deal with that all the time?"

"Deal with what?" Suddenly it clicked. The screaming had a distinct accent, and there was only one girl stubborn enough to fend off three fully-grown men. The rowdy girl outside his door was none other than Lucy.

"It's mine ta give! Now let me through," an exasperated sigh followed. "I've got a blindfold around my eyes and I'm still given all you a run for your money!" Alfendi heard the voice of his bride shout. When she said that the tie would be delivered, he had assumed that Florence would've shown up minutes before the wedding, not his bride.

"Lucy, " he called out, bringing a hand up to his forehead, not sure to laugh or be angry.

"Oi! Prof, tell them t'let me through! But close your eyes first! The girls already put me in ta dress!" Alfendi heard the muffled noise of a skirt being ruffled, confirming the fact. He heavily sighed, and, closing his eyes, Al called off the barricade. "Ta very much, Prof! now where are you?" All of the men in the room could not help but snicker at the spectacle. Lucy was fumbling about the room with a blindfold, in what else but her wedding dress. Alfendi was in the middle of the room, his eyes shut, trying to guide her, but to no avail. Finally, Dustin ended the show by taking Lucy by the shoulders and steering her to her groom.

"It tha' you, Prof?" she asked trying to find his neck. She missed several times, and hit his nose more than anything else. Giggling, Lucy continued her search.

"Yes, dear. Now may I ask why you're here, in you wedding dress?" Al was pretty sure he knew, but a little twinge of worry bubbling in his chest thought it would only to be right to ask.

"'Ell you can't get married wit'out a tie! You should know tha' by know!" Lucy chuckled. "Now. Oh, 'ere we go." Finally finding her groom's neck, Al felt the cool fabric of silk be draped around his neck, followed by a peck on the nose. "See you on th' beach, Alfendi," Lucy shouted. A shuffle of feet alerted that she had left the room. James quickly shut the door behind her.

"That were a close one, Uncle Al! I can't believe that she barged in here like that." The man's hair took on a dangerous shade of crimson before turning to face his groomsmen.

"I honestly can't believe that three grown men couldn't restrain a blind-folded woman, who was in her wedding dress!" With the stress building, the real side of Alfendi lashed out. Opening his eyes, Al found his groomsmen all blushing various shades of pink.

"It's only 'cause they would't let me at 'er, Uncle Al," the soft voice of James mused.

"Lucy Baker! I demand to know where you went!" Lucy blushed, taking off her blindfold. The whole room was full of slightly angry women, all wondering where the bride had run off to. Currently, Lea Baker was shouting at her daughter, who truthfully had just worried that Lucy was having second thoughts. Ms. Baker's face was an angry pink, a trait that Lucy knew all to well; she was not pleased at all.

"Eh, it were to stuffy in here?" Lucy knew that it was a bad lie, but it was worth a shot.

"A-ACHOO! Lucy, you didn't go to give Al his tie, did you?" A sickly woman asked.

"I didn't see 'im, Florence."

"Well fine, then. We still have to make you up, a tad," a familiar voice said. The woman was tall and pretty, with deep chocolate-brown eyes. Her golden hair was coiffed into a bun, and the bridesmaid's dress looked wonderful. "We still need that finishing touch." The woman was literally shining with happiness, her melodious voice like tinkling bells.

"Oh, I've got tha'!" Lucy's mom exclaimed. It seemed as though she had calmed down. Pulling out the pin that she had given her daughter form her birthday, Ms. Baker clipped it into Lucy's honey brown hair. "You're done sweetie," she looked at her daughter with tears pricking her eyes.

Lucy turned around and her hands fluttered up to her mouth, a small gasp escaping in place of her voice.

At precisely 3 P.M., Alfendi Layton had taken his place in front of the lapping waves of the coast line. He had was all dressed up, but his hair had refused to agree, so it was again in its normal ponytail. The tie Lucy had given him was puzzling, for it wasn't one color. He had quickly realized that it represented both of his hair colors, but hadn't had enough time to think about what color his groomsmen would be wearing.

Looking around the beach, he was disappointed that most of his family wasn't there. His father was missing, as well as his sister, Flora. True, she wasn't blood, but Al had thought that she'd have the decency to come to his wedding along with her own husband. He had been forced to that wedding, and saw no excuse for her not to be at his. Then there was his father. After all of their feuds, Alfendi knew that he would come. It was the duty of a gentleman, but apparently that rule didn't apply to his son. Now, he wasn't here, but the groom had more to deal with.

Finally, the music filled the salty air, and those standing up came down the aisle. First were the Best Man and Maid of Honor, who were Florence and Dustin. Alfendi quickly knew why the tie had two colors. Florence was being wheeled down in a deep burgundy dress, while Dustin's tie was a lighter purple. Lucy had done all of this, all for him. Next to take the walk was his uncle, who surprisingly was linked arms Hilda, who smirked at him, her trademark red lipstick shining in the sun's light. What a surprise, he thought. Howwever, nothing could've surprised him more than the next two coming down the aisle.

Alfendi gasped from his place. Coming down the sandy aisle was Sniffer was no other than Flora. She waved at her brother, and mad a slight head nod in the direction of now visible Clive, who nodded, a smirk gracing his features. The man was just as shocked as Al, for apparently this one was a last-minute decision. Sniffer shrugged, a confused expression painted on his features. When she reached her brother, Flora just winked and took her place on Lucy's side of the small side of the beach. The last down the path were James and Emma, who wore ridiculously large grins on their faces, and in the twin's hands was a ring. Next came the bridal march, everyone stood, and Alfendi's heart nearly stopped.

Lucy looked like a different girl. Her golden brown hair was in an up-do, the pieces that usually hung in her face were curled. The rose clip was carefully positioned on the top of the elegant bun. Her face was delicately painted with make-up, Lucy's ruby eyes framed by a watercolor of crimsons, her lips graced by a slight gloss. Alfendi's eyes landed on her dress. Like the hair clip, it was more of a cream color. It had a sweetheart neckline, and slight beading on the top. At the hip, it flared out into an abundance of ruffles. In her hands was a bouquet of roses, all burgundy and purple, except for one single white rose in the middle. Sand rose into the air and reflected the sun beams, making a slight ring of tan at the end of the train. Alfendi was speechless as he tried to stop the tears stared to stream down his face.

Ms. Baker was walking her daughter down the aisle, but along with some one else. Al chocked down a gasp. On Lucy's left was his father. Professor Layton simply smiled at his son, who despite the hair, looked like a true gentleman. Catching Lucy's eyes, Alfendi raised an eyebrow, just to be met by a sly grin. The trio reached the altar, Ms. Baker crying, kissing her daughter's cheek. Hershel took Lucy's hand a kissed it, at which she blushed. Lea hugged Al.

"Take care of her, dear," she whispered. Pulling away, his soon-to-be mother in law walked over next to Flora. Finally, Al met his fathers eyes. Putting a gentle hand on his son's shoulder, he tip the rim of his top-hat; it was the only time that Alfendi didn't shrug it off. Smiling, Lucy took her place next to her groom. Looking into each other's eyes, scarlet into amber, everything was as it should be.

The ceremony was one that no one could forget. Both personalities remained in control for different sections of the wedding, and to Lucy, nothing could worked out better. The vows were heart-felt, and Lucy couldn't make it through hers without crying, or Alfendi's for that matter.

"D-dear Alfendi," Lucy started, tears already touching her smiling face. "I love you so much, I don't even know 'ow t' describe it. I'm sure tha' you have a word for it, 'cause you always seem t'. You are e'erything I could ask for, and I can believe tha' I'm lucky enough t' have you." She paused to sniffle, water streaming rivers down her cheeks. "I can't wait t' solve murders with ya for the rest of my life." Lucy concluded, laughing through the tears. Reaching his hand to her scarlet eyes, Alfendi smiled gently as he wiped away the wetness from the corners of her eyes.

"Dear Lucy, my love," Alfendi heard a small sniffling sound from behind Lucy, and assumed Flora had lost her cool already. Placid started,"I love you, too. So very, very much. How I survived without you is a mystery to both of us. You are amazingly sweet and kind, and if anyone doesn't deserve someone like you it's me." Alfendi's hair took a dark shade of crimson. "You know I love you, too, Baker, so there it is. I guess you keep up sane, and no one's ever tried, so congratulations, Lucy Baker. You should have gone into mental diseases," he smirked and turned to the Commissioner. "Now may I kiss my bride, sir?"

"You may now kiss the bride," the Commissioner's voice rang out. Alfendi grinned devilishly, spinning Lucy around so that she was hanging diagonal in his arms. Gently, he leaned in, and planted his lips on his wife. He pulled back, hair dimmed, and smiled gently.

"I want to kiss my bride as well, you know." Lucy complied, and took the soft kiss of her husband for the second time, though it felt like the first time, back when the two had started together in the confines of the Mystery Room.
