Greetings my dear readers,

First off, thank you all for following and reviewing this story, especially to those who stuck it out even through my hiatuses and random disappearances. You all hold a very special place in my heart.

Secondly, even though I know the site rules say not to upload 'Author's Notes' chapters, I really have no other way to contact you all with this news. Before you worry, no, I am not giving up the Wisps of Smoke storyline. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

As I was rereading this story, looking closely at the plot so that I could make an update, I realized that this story is, quite literally, riddled with plot holes. I am so sorry for that. I never actually planned this thing out and was, as author Mike Mullin once described it, 'flying by the seat of my writing pants'. I feel terrible for that now. Part of the reason I lost my muse was because of my lack of planning. I had a general idea of direction but no clear path. And there really isn't much plotwise to build on. Which, again, proves how wonderful you all are for your very kind words about a story that is so lacking.

Wisps of Smoke is being rewritten with more character development, a more solid plot, and, really, just an overall betterment of everything. However, it will not continue under this title. The first chapter is will be up within the next few days, with more to follow. If you are at all interested in seeing Jade, Amber, and Emily's continued story, and a better version of what's already happen, please check out Iridescence. You as my readers deserve the best work I can give you, and that's what I'm determined to produce with this rewrite.

I would be honored if you would continue this ride with me.

(P.S.- Those lemons will definitely be written, they just won't show up until later!)
