Hey! Well, this is it. The epilogue. I can't believe this story is over :( Thanks to everyone who favorited, followed, and/or reviewed this story. Even reading it. This story reached 72 000 views, and that means everything to me. So, thank you.

By the way, I wrote this three times before writing what seemed to be perfect to end this story. It all had the same goal, but not the way I wanted it be.

This is short, but really cute. Well, I think it is. I hope you do too.

Disclaimer: I do not own Austin & Ally, or anything else you might recognize in this story (if you didn't get that after I said it 27 times already, I don't know what will get you to).

Enjoy! :)

Five months later...

New year's eve

AUSTIN'S P.O.V.

"Come on, Ally! We're gonna be late!" I yell at my girlfriend from the front door. When we got back from my tour, last month, I asked Ally to move in with me. I wasn't 18 yet, but we still managed to get the house we wanted: a two story house in Miami with four bedrooms (two guest rooms, our room, and... one we'll save for later, if you know what I mean) (A/N: *Wink, wink*), two bathrooms, a pretty big living room, along with a kitchen and an office.

"Coming!" She yells back as she comes down the stairs. "Austin, can you help me with that?" She asks me, turning around.

"Of course." I zip her dress. "You ready?"

She nods. "Let's go." She starts making her way through the door, when I stop her. "What's wrong?"

"Uh... You might want to put shoes on." I point to her bare feet.

"Oops. Right." She puts on her heels. "Now, we can go."

"Ally." I sing-song her name, stopping her again.

"What?"

"Your purse." I hand it to her.

"Right, thanks. Now, we can go."

I follow her to my car. I get in the driver seat while she gets in by the other side and we make her way to Trish and Dez's house. Tonight, they're hosting a party for new year, and Ally and I are going.

When we get there, Trish is by the door.

"You're late." She states.

"Her fault." I point at Ally.

"Hey!"

"It's true."

"Whatever." Trish rolls her eyes. "Come in, everybody's already here."

We follow her inside, and music immediately blows in my ears. I swear the floor's shaking.

"Wow, when Dez said they had everything for the perfect party, I didn't think this would be what he meant! This is awesome!" I yell at Ally so she can hear me over the music.

"What?! I can't hear you!" She yells at me.

"I said: This is awesome!" I yell louder.

"Oh! Yeah, I agree!" She nods.

"I'm going to see Dez!"

"Alright! I'll try to find Trish!"

I nod and start looking for Dez. After a while, I finally find him standing by the DJ.

"Hey Dez!" I yell/greet him.

"Oh, hey Austin! Enjoying the party?"

"Yeah, it's pretty cool."

He looks around. "Let's go talk somewhere else where we can actually hear each other without yelling!" I nod and follow him in the backyard, where we can still hear the music. We both sit on the stairs. "So, are you nervous?" He breaks the silence.

I shrug. "A bit. I'm scared she might reject me."

"She won't. I mean, you two have been together for three years, and you liked each other way before that, so... I don't think she'll reject you."

"What if she think we're too young? I mean, I turned eighteen two days ago." I point out.

"So? When it comes to love, age is overrated, Austin. I mean, you've liked Ally since fifth grade. You were ten years old. And now, eight years later, you're still with her. You're both still in love. If it's not true love, I don't know what is. Plus, she promised, didn't she? She has the ring to prove it. And if she thinks it's too soon, tell her to say yes anyway, and that it doesn't have to happen now."

I nod. "Thanks for the advice, Dez."

"What are best buds for? But one question. Did you ask her dad?"

I nod. "I was worried for nothing. He said he knew I'd ask soon."

"Well, your moms did wait for this day to happen, so... Her dad probably did too, he just didn't want to see Ally grow up. But now he has Amelia, so I guess it's a little easier for him to let Ally go."

"I guess. He's been giving me hint every once in a while, but I wasn't sure how to take them. You know I'm not really good at taking hints." He agrees. I look at my watch: 11:57. "Hey, it's three minutes 'till midnight. Wish me good luck." I tell him, getting up.

"Good luck, buddy." He pats me on the back and I start looking for Ally. (A/N: I didn't say what he's planning on purpose, but I'm pretty sure most of you figured it out.)

I see Trish on the couch. "Trish, have you seen Ally?" I ask her, looking at my watch. 11:58.

"Uh... I think she's outside, infront of the house."

I nod and make my way outside. I find her on the bench that's under the tree infront of the house. I look at my watch: 11:59.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask as I sit next to her.

She nods. "Yeah. The music was giving me a headache, so I decided to come outside. But I'm fine, now."

I take a deep breath. It's now or never.

"The stars are beautiful, tonight." She says, looking at the sky. I take this as my chance to get on one knee. I take her hands and she looks at me. She seems confused, then she gasps as she realizes my position. "Austin, I-"

"Let me talk."

"10... 9..." The countdown begins.

"Ally, I've liked you ever since I met you. Through the years, I fell in love with you. Hard. And... We've been through everything together, both good and bad. But we stayed together. I know this might not be easy with your career just taking off and everything, but I love you with all my heart."

"5... 4..."

I take the little box from my pocket and open it, revealing a ring with a diamond on it. Simple, but I know Ally wouldn't like a big, fancy ring. She loves simple stuff.

"Ally Dawson, will you marry me?"

"3... 2..."

She squeals. "Yes! Yes! A million times, yes!" She jumps and hug me tightly. I pull away to place the ring on her finger.

"1..."

I lean in to kiss her. She meets me halfway.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

We pull away and smile at each other.

"Happy new year, Ally." I tell her.

"Happy new year, Austin. I have a feeling this'll be a wonderful year."

"Yeah, I have the same feeling." I give her a peck on the lips. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Ally's my fiance. Yup, this'll definitely be a wonderful year. And a wonderful life.

The end.

What do you think? So, this story is officially over :(

On the bright side, the first chapter of my new story Skater Girl will be posted as soon as I finish posting this one. Go check it out, and tell me what you think!
