Chapter 62

"Hey there, Wills," said Buffy answering the door and motioning for Willow to enter.

"Hey, Buff! Hey, Dawnie!"

"Hi, Willow. How's my favorite redhead doing?" asked Dawn.

"I'm good."

"What's it like being in the house without Tara?" asked Buffy as they sat down in the living room.

"It's weird, Buffy. I keep waiting for her to call out to me or to see her in one of the rooms."

"Have you talked to her at all since she's been gone?"

"Yeah, she called just before I was heading over here. It sounds like things in Boston are going well for her and Faith. They were going to go out and reminisce for the rest of the day."

"That sounds like fun for them. What do you say we go to the beach and do some reminiscing of our own," suggested Buffy.

"Sounds like fun to me," responded Willow.

"Me too," said Dawn.

"Great, let's go."

With that, the trio headed out to the beach near Willow and Tara's house. It was a nice, secluded, and since it was near the house they would be able to then grill out that night without dragging all sorts of gear with them. As they arrived at the beach, Buffy and Dawn set up some chairs and towels for them to sit on while Willow went over and invited Emily to join them.

"So, T, were you able to get ahold of Willow?" asked Faith.

"Yeah, I caught her just before she was leaving to go hang out with Buffy and Dawn."

"That's good. Emily is looking forward to hanging out with Willow tomorrow as well."

"I'm glad my wife and your fiancee get along so well. I've always thought it would suck to have your significant other not get along with your family and extended family."

"Yeah, that would totally suck. So, what do you want to start with? We could drive past our old school, or we can hit the mall...whatever you want."

"Why don't we start with the school, then we can hit the mall, and after that get some dinner."

"Cool." Faith led them down to the car and they headed to the school where they had met. When they pulled up it looked much smaller and older than it had when they had been there almost ten years ago. Faith parked the car and the duo got out of the car and walked around the outside of the building, both feeling the history of their time there.

"I can't believe how much it has changed in, shit, has it been almost ten years since we were here?" Tara asked, looking around.

"Yeah, it has. We're getting old."

"Speak for yourself," laughed Tara. "I'm still young and in my prime."

"Says the married woman who is thinking about when she is going to have kids rather than what it's like to be a kid. How soon do I need to prepare to become Aunt Faith?" Faith teased.

Tara's eyes glossed over at the thought of having kids with Willow. "I can't wait to start a family with Willow. I know that we just got married and I want to take some time to get through everything that we have going on, but I'd say in the next year or so, Willow and I can seriously talk about kids. As much as I want to have kids soon, I want to have some time just Willow and I as well."

"That makes sense. At least you have time. It isn't like either of your biological clocks are going to expire soon."

"No, they aren't. Thankfully. I never expected to find someone that I could love as much as I love Willow."

"I know. I'm glad you found her and that you guys are building a life together."

"Let's head to the mall and see how much it has changed in ten years."

"Stop saying ten years, you're making me feel old," joked Faith.

As Faith and Tara wandered around the mall they both commented on how much had changed. Most of the stores they used to go to were gone. Replaced with stores for the new generation.

They each grabbed something from the food court to take back to the hotel for dinner. They were going to be able to relax on Sunday and then they were headed to the camp to visit with the kids.

Faith and Tara pulled up next to the bus that had brought the kids to the camp. They looked out the front windshield and saw Ashley heading toward them.

"Good morning," said Ashley. "Did you have any trouble finding the camp?"

"Good morning," Tara said as she got out of the car smiling. "Nope, the directions you gave us were perfect."

"Hey," said Faith, coming around the front of the car.

"Let me take you up and you can see the grounds and see what the kids are up to."

Ashley led them up to the main house where all of the kids were hanging around waiting for the classes to begin.

"Everyone, this is Faith Lehane and Tara Rosenberg-Maclay. They are the reason you guys got to come to camp."

"How are they the reason?" asked one kid.

"They put up the money and negotiated the contracts for all of this," Ashey said motioning around at the camp.

"Oh," said the kid, now embarrassed.

"Faith and Tara are here to see what all we do here, so, let's get this day started."

The kids and teachers dispersed into their groups while Faith and Tara talked with Ashley for a few more minutes before they started to walk around the different classes.

Tara worked with one of the younger kids on a craft project, while Faith was more interested in the academic classes. They floated between all classes trying not to disrupt the kids learning. After each class they found themselves talking with the teachers and finding out what drove them and why they were there. Most were driven by the thought of helping you kids excel and grow into strong people. Some were there because volunteering looked good on their resume. Faith and Tara couldn't fault them for it, but they appreciated the ones there to help the kids grow more.

"This place is great," said Faith, walking up to Tara and Ashley.

"Yeah, it is. It is just about free-time for the kids. This will give you a chance to meet some of them. They're really remarkable."

"Cool," said Faith and Tara in unison.

Ashley called for free-time and several of the kids crowded around the adults.

"Why'd you set this up?" asked Tim, one of the older kids.

"Well, when I was in school for a couple of years I was homeless and had nothing to look forward to or a reason to keep my grades up."

"But you still kept them up?" asked Julie, one of the teachers.

"Yep. I was a straight 'A' student through my full time in high school. I sort of jumped a couple of grades and graduated early, but while I was there I worked my butt off, and the shelter I went to made sure that I had food, a bed, and a place to study."

"What about you?" asked Tim.

"I met Faith when my family moved to Boston and put me into school there. I had been home-schooled prior to that."

"So, you never knew what it was like to be homeless?"

"No, I never did, but I saw what Faith was able to accomplish and when she had the idea to set this up, I was all for it." Tara smiled at the kid and saw his expression soften.

"Did you get straight 'A's' too?"

"Yeah, Faith and I were on the same accelerated track and both got through high school when we were sixteen and through college by the time we were eighteen."

"So, you two are pretty smart then," said one of the teachers who had joined the kids in getting to know Faith and Tara.

"What do you do now?" asked Ashley.

"I'm head of Human Resources at a multi-national company."

"I'm head of Marketing and part owner of the same multi-national company."

"Whoa, so you actually own part of a company? How'd that happen?" asked Julie.

"My dad started the company when my brother and I were little. He wanted to build a legacy for us to be proud of once we were older."

"What company is it? Something we'd actually know about?"

"Have you heard of TDM Enterprise?" asked Faith.

"Yeah, they have a branch here in Boston. They deal with literacy and stuff," one of the teachers said.

"That is her company." Faith smiled as Tara blushed.

"Whoa," said the kids that were still hanging around Faith and Tara.

"So, what does your husband do? Or is he a stay-at-home type?" asked Julie, looking at the ring on Tara's finger.

"It's actually my wife, and she is a senior programmer at TDM."

"You married a geek?" asked Tim.

"Yeah, I did."

"That's cool. I bet she is kickass at video games."

"Well, she kicks my ass, but I don't think that is a hard thing to do. I'm not very good at video games."

"We can change that," said a boy from behind the group. Nobody had seen him come up and join the group. "I'm a hacker and a gamer. I know some tricks to teach you."

"Well, I would be dumb to pass up that offer. What can you teach me?" asked Tara, following the younger boy over to one of the console stations. Tara and the boy spent a couple of hours together, him teaching her tricks to help her beat Willow.

As the day came to an end, Tara and Faith told the kids they would be back for more fun the following day. Everyone seemed pleased with that idea.

As the cab pulled up outside Faith and Emily's house, Tara let out of sigh of relief. They had spent two long days with the kids at the camp. While it was rewarding, both were happy to be home.

"Home at last," said Faith as they started to get out of the car.

"And early at that," added Tara. "I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Sounds like a plan. Back to the grind of work."

Tara grabbed her stuff and headed over to her house next door. She put her stuff in the bedroom and went to take a quick shower before surprising Willow when she got home from work.

Willow arrived home, she set her computer bag on the kitchen counter and grabbed a bottle of water out of the refrigerator. She drank some of it before closing the bottle and setting it near her bag. Willow then decided that she was going to grab a quick shower before she had to go pick up Tara and Faith at the airport.

Willow walked into the bedroom and saw Tara's now empty suitcase sitting on the bed. Willow looked around and saw the closed bathroom door and smiled. Just as she was starting to make her way over to the door it opened and Tara walked out.

"Tara," said Willow as she rushed to her wife as she exited the bathroom in just a thin robe.

"Willow!" Tara engulfed Willow into a hug and then planted a chaste kiss on her lips.

"Mmmm, I missed you," said Willow, nibbling on Tara's neck.

"I missed you, too. What are you doing home so early?"

"It was a nice day out, I got all my work done for the day and there wasn't time for me to start a new program before I would have had to leave, so I thought I would come home and relax before I needed to go get you and Faith at the airport. What are you doing home so early? When did you get home? How did you get home?"

"Faith and I were able to catch an earlier flight, so we thought we'd surprise you and Emily. We grabbed a cab from the airport. I've only been home for about an hour. Just long enough to unpack and grab a quick shower."

"But, not enough time to get dressed. Lucky me," said Willow as her hands made their way to Tara's waist and to the tie holding her robe closed.

Tara's breath caught as she felt Willow slowly tugging on the tie. "Oh, Willow." Tara leaned forward and captured her wife's lips in a searing kiss. "I missed you…so, oh, much."

Willow leaned into the kiss as she felt Tara's hands starting to work their way down unbuttoning her shirt.

"Let me show you how much I've missed you," purred Willow as her hands roamed Tara's naked body.

Tara quickly removed Willow's clothing and tossed her empty bag onto the floor as she gently pushed Willow backward toward the bed. Tara dropped her robe onto the pile of Willow's clothes and leaned over the redhead's body.

"You are so beautiful," whispered Tara before capturing Willow's lips.

As the kiss ended, Willow looked deep into Tara's eyes, she could see the longing and desire she felt mirrored in her lover's eyes. "Make love to me."

They moved onto the bed and Tara covered Willow's body with her own and without another word, she pressed her body to Willow's and their lips connected.

The couple made slow, passionate love to one another for several hours before they got up and grabbed a quick light dinner. After dinner they went back to the bedroom and continued to show the other how much she was missed.

Morning arrived and both Tara and Willow were still entwined together as the alarm went off. Willow groaned and reached over and hit the snooze button.

"When did morning happen?" asked Willow as she curled up into Tara's waiting arms.

"When the moon went down," Tara replied before kissing the top of Willow's head.

"Well, who told it to do that?"

"Someone who isn't as blissfully happy as we are I'm sure." Tara laughed and reached over and hit the snooze button again as the alarm started to go off again.

"I guess we'd better shower and get ready for work," Willow commented, kicking the covers off their naked bodies.

"Unfortunately, yes. Maybe we can do lunch in the park today?"

"I'll keep my day free for that."

"Great," Tara said, smiling at Willow before the pair got up and showered together. Both knowing that they had to get to work, they contained their hormones and just washed the other.

The pair got dressed and grabbed their computer bags and made their way to the car. Tara drove them to the Espresso Pump to get breakfast and coffee to start the day.

As Tara parked the car in her designated spot at TDM she turned and smiled at Willow. "I love you."

"I love you, too, baby."

The pair got out of the car and headed inside. As they got inside Tara's father was standing in the lobby talking to Faith.

"Hey guys," said Faith as Donald turned to see who she was talking to.

"Hi." said Tara who then turned and hugged her father. " Good morning, Daddy!"

"Hey," Willow said with a small wave.

"Faith was just telling me about your little trip to Boston," Donald said, looking proud at the two women. "I'm shocked that you did this without telling anyone."

"We didn't want it to be a corporate affair," Faith said. "T and I just wanted to keep it between us."

"Well, it is a great thing that you are doing for those kids. I'm so glad to finally know about it."

"We weren't trying to keep you in the dark, we just like Faith said, we wanted to keep it between us."

"I gotta run," said Willow taking and squeezing Tara's hand. She said her goodbyes and headed to the elevators leaving the others to discuss things.

"Well, I'm still very proud of the two of you. I bet those kids had the time of their lives."

"Oh, they were," said Faith. "Tara even hit it off with a few of the kids."

"Yeah, I'm supposed to email Jackson once Willow and I have a chance to play some video games. He spent several hours coaching me on tips and tricks on how to beat her."

The group laughed and made their way to the elevators to start their day.

It was noon when Tara showed up at Willow's desk with their blanket on her arm.

"You still able to do lunch in the park?" asked Tara.

"Of course. I've been impatiently waiting all morning for this." Willow locked her computer and the couple headed downstairs to the sidewalk vendors to get some lunch and head across the street to the park.

"It's a really nice day out," Tara commented as they laid the blanket out and got situated.

"Yeah, that is one thing about Sunnydale, we get plenty of nice days."

The couple sat close as they ate. They each talked about their morning and what had transpired. Willow told Tara about what had gone on for her week as well since Tara hadn't been there. Tara told Willow about going to the camp and spending time with the kids.

As their lunch was coming to an end, the couple exchanged a few short kisses before folding the blanket up and heading back inside.

"I'll see you at the end of the day," Tara said, squeezing Willow's hand as the elevator dinged for the fourth floor.

"I'll be waiting."

"Love you!" Tara gave Willow a little smile

"Love you more, sexy," Willow replied as she got off the elevator and headed to her desk.

As Willow was walking back to her desk she heard her name called.

"Oh, hey Xander. What's up?"

"I was wondering if I could get your opinion on something," he said, hesitantly.

"Sure, what's up?" Willow sat down in the spare chair at Xander's cube.

"I was wanting to get your opinion on a ring that I was thinking about getting Anya."

"Wow, sure, whatever you need. This is a big step for you two."

"Yeah, it really is. I'm still a little gun shy on it, but I know it would make her really happy, and I see how much happier you and Tara are."

"Is it going to make you happier though?" asked Willow. "If not, then don't do it yet. You can't make a lifelong decision just to make Anya happy. It has to be what you want and desire as well."

"I know, but she is really pushing for us to get married."

"Xander, I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it. Just don't do it because you feel pressured or because you think it'll make her happy. You have to live with the decision as well. If you think she's the one and you're ready to do this, that's great, but if not, if there is any doubt, don't do it."

"I hear you. I'd still like your opinion on the ring, but I think I'm going to have to do some more soul searching before I buy anything."

"Good, so, show me the ring you're thinking about."

Xander pulled the ring up on the computer. It was a basic ring with a solitaire diamond. The cut to the diamond was unique and Willow couldn't tell what it was about it, but it was striking.

"I think Anya would love that."

"Thanks, Will. I also appreciate you listening and your advice. I won't do anything that I'm not ready for. Even if Anya is pressuring me."

"Good. And if you ever need to talk, I'm here." With that Willow got up and headed to her desk.

"Hey Willow, can we talk about something?" Tara asked as she entered the living room where Willow was playing on her tablet.

"Sure, sounds serious, what's up?" Willow set her tablet down on the coffee table and turned to face Tara who had joined her on the sofa.

"It isn't overly serious, but it is something that I'd like to get a feeling for…"

"What's up, beautiful?" Willow reached up and cupped Tara's cheek and leaned in and kissed her softly.

"I know that you've thought about us having a family and everything. While we were gone Faith brought up us having kids and she asked when she should be prepared to become 'aunt Faith.' I realized that though we've talked about wanting kids, we never talked about when."

"Well, did you have a timeframe in mind?" Willow took Tara's hand and their fingers entwined.

"Yes, and no. I want us to have some time together just us before we start having kids, but I also don't want to wait too long either."

"I always pictured us married for a couple of years before we started a family. It would give us some time together, alone, but it would also give us a chance to plan so that we were fully prepared for the kids. Yes, I know as a lesbian couple we don't have to worry about the surprise of one of us getting pregnant, but you know me, I'm all about planning stuff."

"I like the idea of waiting a couple of years so that we have time together. Have you thought about which one of us would get pregnant?"

"No, I never really thought about that. I just knew that it would be one of us," Willow said, laughing. "Honestly, as long as they are our kids, I don't care who carries them, they will be loved by both of us the same."

"I love you." Tara leaned forward and kissed Willow softly.

"I love you, too. Does that help some?"

"It helps a lot. What do you say we play a couple of video games and snuggle?" Tara asked. She had received an email from Jackson wondering if they had played yet.

"Hmmm, playing on my tablet or spending quality time with my wife...tough choice. What game do you want to start with?"

"How about we start with one of the Lego games you love to suck me into."

Willow got up and grabbed their controllers and chose 'Marvel Super Heroes 2' for them to start with. It was one that they both enjoyed, but Willow was stuck on a level and she wanted to get past it. Willow missed the smirk that crossed Tara's face when she handed her the controller.

"You can play first, Sweetie," said Tara.

"Okay," Willow responded as she started the game and opened their group profile. She played for a bit, getting stuck at the same place she always did. For some reason, flying was not one of Willow's best skills. In the level she was trying to pass you had to fly and shoot down the green goblin. "I hate this level."

"I know you do. Why don't you let me give it a shot and you can let your adrenaline subside a bit."

Willow nodded and Tara took over. After watching Tara flawlessly fly through the level and beat the green goblin, Willow just stared at her wife.

"How?"

"How what?" Tara asked with a satisfied smirk.

"How is it you go away for a few days and come back able to fly like that? What other tricks are you hiding?"

"I'm not hiding anything, Sweetheart."

Willow wasn't convinced and put in another game. This time she put in 'Mortal Kombat' for them to play. It took no time at all for Tara to kick her ass. Willow looked open mouthed at her wife.

"Again, I ask, how?"

Tara started to laugh and put her controller down. She leaned over and kissed Willow before explaining. "While we were at the camp I met this kid named Jackson. He said he was a hacker and a gamer and he and I spent some time together and he taught me a few things."

"Oh really? And you just thought it would be fun to challenge me and kick my ass?" teased Willow as she pulled Tara onto her lap.

Tara adjusted so that she was straddling Willow's legs. "Uh huh."

"What else did he teach you?"

"Nothing," Tara said, breathlessly. Tara sat there for a minute before leaning in and kissing Willow hard. She heard her wife groan into the kiss as she felt Willow's hands move from her hips to her butt. Tara felt Willow pulling her closer as their kiss broke. "Oh, you know what touching me like that does."

"Yep, and I intend on following through with those touches."

Tara pulled her t-shirt off and Willow helped her remove her bra. Tara's chest was just about at mouth level for Willow who leaned forward and sucked on one of Tara's now erect nipples. Tara arched into Willow as she felt Willow's hands working to release the button on her shorts.

"Here or the bedroom?" Willow asked as she took Tara's other nipple into her mouth and sucked on it as one hand played with the other nipple and the other one worked to get Tara's shorts off.

"Here…now..." was all Tara could manage to say, what Willow was doing to her felt so good.

Tara stood up and removed her shorts and underwear. She stood before her wife, naked. Tara watched as Willow's eyes looked her up and down and the redhead licked her lips. Tara pulled Willow up and helped her divest the rest of her clothes.

Willow sat down on the couch and pulled Tara back onto her lap. She could feel the heat emanating from Tara's center. She could feel the wetness as they kissed and her hands roamed the blonde's body. As she was feeling Tara's body, Willow felt Tara's hands on her breasts. She could feel them tweaking and playing with her nipples.

"Inside," Tara said as Willow's hand made its way between her thighs.

Willow smiled and slowly moved her hand into Tara's wetness. She slowly teased Tara's swollen clit as her fingers explored. Willow felt Tara's hips moving, trying to get her where she wanted her. Willow poised her hand at Tara's entrance and as she slowly slid two fingers in she captured Tara's left nipple in her mouth and sucked hard.

"Oh yes," Tara called out and she started to move up and down on Willow's fingers.

Willow moaned into Tara's breast. She loved how wet her wife was and knowing that it was because of her.

"Oh Willow," moaned Tara as she got closer to her release. Tara started moving faster as Willow slipped a third finger inside her. "Oh...yes…"

Willow could tell Tara was close, she moved her hand so that her thumb would press on Tara's clit with each thrust. Tara's breathing was becoming more ragged, her moan deeper. Willow knew it was just a matter of minutes.

Tara moved faster and faster as she got closer. As she came she called out Willow's name and once the aftershocks stopped she moved slowly off her wife and laid Willow down on the sofa. Tara then laid between Willow's legs and pressed her tongue into Willow's clit. Hearing Willow call her name made Tara smile before she sucked the stimulated bundle of nerves into her mouth and sucked on it. It wasn't long before Willow came. Tara moved up to lay against Willow. The couple kissed for several minutes before Tara pulled the blanket draped over the back of the couch over them.

"I love you, so much," whispered Willow.

"I love you, too," Tara whispered as the couple drifted off for a nap.
