Chapter One: Rugrats

Recca smiled slightly as he watched her from the window. So sweet and loving to her charges. He blushed, scratching his head when he realized his Hime-chan was reading to them all from another one of those "Fire Star Reccaman" books she liked to write. He liked the loving care she drew the things with, even if the stories were designed for little kids. And it told of their adventures together, when they were still teenagers and battling Kurei... Albeit in a kid-sized nutshell.

Recca wondered to himself what it would be like to have one of those little monsters himself. Rugrats were cute, but he'd seen the trouble some of them could get into. The twenty year old shook his head. No way was he ready for that kind of responsibility. He had enough on his plate protecting his Hime and trying to get into college. Yes, he still hadn't gotten into college because... Well, because of his duty and the fact that Princess hadn't gotten into a college yet. Either way, it was waaaay too soon to be thinking along those lines, he scolded himself. Recca was still saving up for a ring for Yanagi, for pete's sake.

Looking at his Hime again, his heart softened.

Maybe, if things worked out right... Maybe he and Yanagi would have a couple little rugrats running around. That'd sure please Kagero and his Dad to no end. He KNEW his Hime wanted kids. Sighing softly, he tugged his signature baseball cap low over his eyes and finally unglued himself from the window. It was time to go in and actually talk to her like the sort-of- boyfreind he was instead of acting like her ninja stalker.

Laughing to himself, he entered the daycare without a care in the world.

This is very short, I know. But this couple is sadly neglected in this fandom for all the dratted FukoXTokiya hype. So I'll be publishing drabbles about this couple whenever the mood takes me. I don't know if I'll get any reviews or not. I hope I do, because this couple is worth reading. SO worth reading.
