Disclaimer: I don't own Rasing Hope

Virginia sighed as her headache grow stronger. It was a stress headache. She had something she needed to tell Burt and she wasn't sure how he would react.

"Burt," she said, "Do you remember our trip to Hawaii?"

"Do I remember? How could I forget that," Burt said, "It was a really great trip."

"Yeah well I know we said we wouldn't bring home any suviniers," Virginia said, "But a we did get something from that trip."

"Huh," Burt asked.

"Look don't be mad," Virginia said, "But I'm sort of pregnant"

She looked at Burt trying to judge his reaction. At first he looked stunned. Then his face lit up.

"We're going to have another baby," he asked excitedly, "That is wonderful Virginia."

"You're not mad?"

"Mad? Why would I be mad?"

"Well you kind of freaked out when I was pregnant with Jimmy," she pointed out.

"We were teenagers," Jimmy pointed out, "and I was terrified. I was afraid I would be a really bad father."

"How do you think Jimmy will take it," Virginia asked.

"I don't know," Burt said, "But I hope he's excited about it."

As if on cue Jimmy came in holding Hope who seemed kind of upset. Sabrina was arguing with Shelley.

"REALLY," she exclaimed, "Did you totally miss that Hope was defending herself?"

"I get that," Shelley said, "But lets face it. Hope needs more discipline then normal kids do."

"EXCUSE ME," Sabrina said, "NORMAL KIDS? Is there something abnormal about Hope?"

"Her mother is a s.e.r.i.a.l.k.i.l.l.e.r and if she's allowed an inch she'll become one herself."

"Um does someone want to fill us in on what's going on here," Virginia asked.

"Yes. My brilliant cousin put Hope in 'the pen' as she calls the 'time out zone' for thirty minutes for defending herself" Sabrina said glaring at Shelley.

"Because I love her and I don't want her to become like her m.o.t.h.e.r."

"Sabrina's her mother," Jimmy said.

"Not biologically," Shelley replied.

"Can we please stop arguing," Virginia said, "It looks like Hope isn't feeling very well right now"

She was sweating and sneezing."

"She probably has allergies," Sabrina said, "Jimmy can you get the baby benidrill."

"Sure," Jimmy said, "No problem."

"Listen," Burt said, "Your mother has something to tell you guys."
