What Does the Fox Say: SSBB Style!, a super smash brothers fanfic

There was a costume party going on at the Smash Mansion. Mario was dressed as a dog, Peach was dressed as a cat, Zelda was dressed as a bird, Samus was dressed as a mouse, Pit was dressed as a cow, Ike was dressed as a frog, Luigi was dressed as an elephant, Wii Fit Trainer was dressed as a duck, Ness was dressed as a fish, and Villager was dressed as a seal… Marth is seen outside the Smash Mansion escorting the guests out since the costume party ended. The song starts as Marth sings:

Dog goes woof, cat goes meow

Bird goes tweet and mouse goes squeak

Cow goes moo, frog goes croak and the elephant goes toot

Ducks say quack and fish go blub

And the seal goes ow ow ow ow ow

But there's one sound, that no one knows

What does the fox say?

Marth was now dressed as a fox standing in a dark forest surrounded by Peach, Zelda, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Daisy, Nana, and Jigglypuff wearing fox masks being the backup dancers. Also, there was Snake sitting in a chair reading a book to Lucas as Marth continued singing weird, bizarre animal sounds:

Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!

Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!

What the fox say?

Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!

What the fox say?

Hatee-hatee-hatee-ho!

What the fox say?

Joff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff!

Tchoff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff!

Link is now seen looking out at the forest and sings his part:

Big blue eyes, pointy nose

Chasing mice and digging holes

Tiny paws up the hill

Suddenly you're standing still

Marth now joins in to sing along with Link:

Your fur is red, so beautiful

Like an angel in disguise

But if you meet a friendly horse

Link sings his part alone:

Will you communicate by

mo-o-o-o-orse?

How will you speak to the

Marth joins in with Link's part:

ho-o-o-o-orse?

What does the fox say?

The backup dancers are seen again dancing as Marth continues making the strange animal noises while Snake was reading the story to Lucas:

Jacha-chacha-chacha-chow!

Chacha-chacha-chacha-chow!

What the fox say?

Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow!

What the fox say?

A-hee-ahee ha-hee!

What the fox say?

A-oo-oo-oo-ooo!

Woo-oo-oo-ooo!

Link joined in this time:

Now Marth and Link are seen dressed as foxes floating in midair as they continued singing in the dark forest:

The secret of the fox

Ancient mystery

Somewhere deep in the woods

I know you're hiding

What is your sound?

Will we ever know?

Will always be a mystery

Marth finishes the verse as the backup dancers dance to the song's beat:

What do you say…

You're my guardian angel

Link sings again:

Hiding in the woods…

Marth sings again:

What is your sound?

As Marth continued, Fox enters randomly dancing and scat-singing to the song:

Wa-wa-way-do

Wub-wid-bid-dum-way-do

Wa-wa-way-do

Will we ever know?

Bay-budabud-dum-bam

I want to know, I want to know…

Mama-dum-day-do

I want to know!

Abay-ba-da bum-bum bay-do!

As the song ends, Fox poises with the rest of the dancers, Marth and Link leave the forest since it was dawn now still wearing their fox costumes and carrying their fox masks.
