A/N: I'm on a roll now with this story again...yah for me!
So this is another relatively short chapter, and sees more perspective from that of Rachel again; and why she maybe felt as if she had to give up Annie.
I think from what I can roughly figure out this, story will be around 15 chapters long with an epilogue to follow as well.
As said the other day, I do now have a clear idea (although I always did really) of where this story is going and hopefully will have it finished by the end of the year.
For the guest reviewer Alexa; who said didn't know could tell if someone has seen a Facebook message and not replied - it varys depending whether on the computer based Facebook, or the Messenger app. You can always see on the computer one if someone has seen it and not replied, and on the Messenger app, if you see the persons profile picture next to message means they have seen it, and you can also tap that last message and it will also say 'seen'.
So this is how Puck knows that Rachel has seen the message he sent her, but hasn't replied.

Anyway, you know all what to do from here - read and review.

Love,

Chapter 10 – Rachel

It had been over two weeks now, since she had arrived in London from New York; and since she had given Annie to that of the care of Noah.

She hadn't yet replied to the message that he had sent her, but often she started to type one out but not be confident enough to send it and ended up deleting it.

Sitting in the small cafeteria area that had been set up on set, eating lunch; Rachel read over the message that she had received once more. Her eyes particularly focusing in on the part that said "I'm sure we could have worked something out"
Rachel sighed to herself, as she went into the photo section of her phone and looked over some of the pictures she still had there of Annie; and couldn't help but smile at the face of her daughter, and didn't notice when he co star, Will Schuester, came over and sat down.

"Hey Rach" he said, as he sat down and started to eat his salad from the catering department.

Rachel however was still absently flicking through some photos of Annie, and didn't even realize that he was there.

"Earth to Miss Fanny Brice" said Will, with a laugh as he tapped his fork on the side of his tray.

Rachel snapping out of her thoughts, looked up at him. "I'm sorry. Hi Will"

"Yeah hi" replied Will, with a laugh. "You were pretty far away there looking at photos"

Rachel just looked at him and nodded.

"A special someone back home?" asked Will.

"You could say that" replied Rachel, with a smile.

Will quickly glanced to that of the phone, that was still open to one of the pictures of Annie.

"I didn't realize you had a daughter" said Will.

Rachel looked at him in horror, not wanting that particular part of her life known and that she had just left her child with it's father in the hopes that she would be okay.

"I, I don't" stuttered Rachel. "It's a friend's daughter. I just babysat a few times when I was in New York"

"Oh, well that makes more sense" replied Will with a laugh. "Us people in showbiz, don't tend to have time for that sort of stuff"

"No, we don't" replied Rachel, shaking her head somewhat sadly.

"But you know one day, maybe" said Will.

Rachel looked at him, as she clicked out of the photo section of her phone.

"Would you be interested in maybe going and grabbing dinner this Saturday night, after work?" asked Will.

Rachel looked at him. "I have a rule about not dating anyone I work with"

"Oh" replied Will, looking at her. "I understand"

"I'm sorry" replied Rachel. "You seem like a really nice guy Will, it's just I have been burnt dating people I work with before, and don't want to go there again"

"It's fine Rachel" said Will, with a nod. "Mixing pleasure with business can sometimes not be a wise move"

Rachel shook her head, as she finished up her lunch. "No it sometime isn't"

Will looked to her with a smile, as she stood up.

"I'll see you back on set in a bit" said Rachel.

"Sure Rachel" he replied, with a quick smile; and Rachel headed away from the table, firstly disposing her lunch into a trash can and then headed back to her trailer.

Later that evening in the hotel room, where she was staying in for the duration of the time she would be in London; Rachel got out her small notebook computer and opened up her Facebook account.

Replying to a message from her dad's first, letting them know that all was going well in London and that she was enjoying herself; she sent off that message, and then looked over the other messages one from her friend Harmony, and another from Brittany who she did dance classes with.

She then tapped open the message from Brittany first, and read over it.

Hey Rach,

I hope London is treating you well. But I got to ask something?

Did you by any chance leave Annie here? On the doorstep of her father's apartment?

I am asking because the guy I am choreographing with Mike, he bought a baby in to rehearsals the other day; and well not only did she look a whole lot like your Annie, but he said that her mother's name was Rachel, and that she was left with his roommate.
I know you never said who the father was, but Rachel please tell me you didn't do this.

Let me know, love you,

Britts xx

Rachel gasped as she read over the message from Brittany, who she knew from dance classes that she would take to keep up her skill level; and she never thought that there could be a possible chance that Brittany would even know anyone who was friends with Noah.

Not wanting to deal with that message at present, she took a deep breath and opened the one from Puck and then began to type.

Dear Noah,

Firstly let me apologize for not contacting you when I found out that I was pregnant, however when I did not hear from you after we finished on the set of 'Warning Shot', I led myself to believe that what happened between us, was just something that to you was that of a short fling whilst we were filming.

I did so often, after Annie was born; almost come and see you or pick up the phone to contact you. I just never had the courage to go through with it, and I will admit that I did catch a glimpse of you a few times outside that of your apartment building, with a couple of guys; who I am guessing from what you have said are your roommates.

Please know how sorry I am for just leaving Annie, like I did. However I know if I was to actually talk with you, I'd most likely be so enticed by you again and that is something I don't think I could let myself be.

I am guessing Annie, by the sounds of it; is in good hands...

Rachel stopped typing and wiped at the tears that had started to well up in her eyes; and then hit the backspace button on the notebook computer, before closing down the lid; and then decided to get herself ready for bed, with thoughts of what could have been running through her mind.

End Note: I know maybe Rachel should probably contact Puck and give him, her reasons for leaving Annie. And I wanted to throw in the bit about Brittany knowing Rachel, because that is something that will come up again later, and there will be something further mentioned there a little later. But rest assured I do know where this is going and have the plot line and some twists to go with it, worked out.

So until next chapter of this, or an update of another story. I thank you for your support in my little writing endeavors.

Love to you all,
