Chapter 52: Fifth Division vs Hanzo, Chiyo and Kimimaro

In this Chapter, the Trunks in this Division is Kid Trunks, Future Trunks is in the First Division

Deep Sea, Cooler's Cave

In deep sea, Cooler crafted his very own cave to occupy his army of White Zetsu and reanimated. In front of him were 5 reanimated people lined up in front of the former galactic dictator. Those 5 were Hanzo of the Salamander, Kimimaro, Lady Chiyo, Ginkaku and Kinkaku. Cooler himself was walking back and forth with his hands behind his back in a straight line.

"My dear allies, you might not know me yet, so I shall introduce myself. My name is Cooler." Cooler introduced as he kept walking with his hands on his back.

"I was known as a dictator, conquering several planets with my armies, I can do it myself if I wanted to. Let me make this clear for all 5 of you, if you have any problems with me, my leadership or my commands overall, I suggest you make yourself known right now or hold your silence." Cooler told them.

None of the reanimated said a word after Cooler asked them, they kept looking at each other. Cooler thought that they would understand due to the fact no one said anything, so he went on with his story. But as soon as the frost demon wanted to continue his story, Kimimaro spoke up as the only one.

"Hmph..." Kimimaro answered.

Cooler got enraged by Kimimaro trying to talk while Cooler was still talking to them.

"Kimimaro!" Cooler shouted as he looked at him. "You had your chance to speak up, so I suggest you stay quiet until I tell you to speak!" Cooler told him.

"I will not obey summoning creatures like you." Kimimaro said to him.

"Remarkable that after everything I said, you still rebel against my rule, but now you follow my orders. Kabuto told me that you were a subordinate of Orochimaru, he is dead just like you. If you wish to test me, then you may, but I am unlike anything you have ever seen in your life. So think twice." Cooler told Kimimaro strict.

Cooler closed his eyes and stood completely still, waiting for Kimimaro to act. His curse mark started to glow, he reached the first level of his seal and went immediately to the second level, gaining bone-like spikes on his back and light-brown skin. He grabbed his spine from his back and bonded Cooler. From his left hand, he created a giant bone spear. The technique, Dance of the Clematis: Flower was complete, and with Cooler trapped in his spine, the reanimated Sound ninja used the same technique he used against Gaara and his ultimate defense.

"My spear can drill through everything, with that I will show what I am capable off." Kimimaro said.

He ran up to Cooler and attacked him head on with his bone spear. The boy managed to land a direct hit on the former galactic dictator. However, the spear which came in contact with Cooler did no damage whatsoever, not even a small scratch.

Then it happened, Kimimaro's spear shattered into a million pieces, and Cooler easily flexed himself to get out of the boy's spine. The boy was stunned, one of his strongest techniques was swept aside like it was nothing more than garbage.

"That's not possible, nothing at all!" Kimimaro shocked over the results of his attack.

Cooler used his immense speed and tapped Kimimaro in the head. Cooler's tap was so powerful that the reanimated boy explodes into a million pieces. Hanzo, Chiyo and the Gold and Silver brothers were shocked to see Cooler's power.

"I never knew creatures like you could exist I this world." Chiyo commented.

"I am not from this world, I recommend you 2 to stand down. I am not someone who can be controlled like a puppet Chiyo, and Hanzo, you will be destroyed before you get to use your poison." Cooler said as he looked at Chiyo and Hanzo.

The two ninjas didn't say a word, not undermining Cooler's authority. The dictator looked back to the destroyed reanimation of Kimimaro.

"I have only been using 2% of my power, and you are destroyed in a blink of an eye. You might not be able to die, but I will make sure you will be tortured for eternity. Then you wish you really were in the afterlife." Cooler said as he walked past the remaining reanimated. "The same goes for all of you, there are worse faiths than death." he said afterwards.

Kimimaro has reformed himself an stood on his feet again, he looked at Cooler who stood right in front of him, holding his arm out to the boy.

"Make your choice, obey me, or endless torture." Cooler asked with crossed arms and a strict expression on his face.

The Sound ninja wanted to use another technique, but then, the boy held his head down, with the 4 remaining reanimated who realized they had no other choice than to obey Cooler's orders.

"Hmm... I will obey... Lord Cooler." Kimimaro finally caved to Cooler's rule.

"Good, seems like you came to your senses." Cooler said as he walked towards his throne and sat down leaning with his head on his right hand.

Cooler looked at his allies again and called forth 3 reanimated.

"Hanzo, Chiyo, Kimimaro... Come forth." Cooler called them out.

The three stood up from the ground and approached the throne.

"A War Division is approaching the shore not far from here, I am planning to ambush them very soon, but first I want to test out their abilities and what they are capable off. I want you three to go on shore and face the War Division with the White Zetsu army on your side. Send a Zetsu back to me if you have any valuable information I need to know." Cooler commanded them.

"Yes, Lord Cooler." Hanzo spoke.

The reanimated did a quick bow and left the cave to get the White Zetsu army in the next giant room where they have been waiting for the dictator's orders. Cooler was left alone in the cave with the Gold and Silver brothers who approached him at his throne seconds later.

"What exactly are you planning Lord Cooler..." Ginkaku asked.

"And why do you intend to test the abilities of the Division?" Kinkaku finished his question.

"I want to know the enemy and how they fight, how they utilize their abilities to their advantages before I am going to take them out, it makes the battle easier for me. Not to worry, if for some reason those three won't make it, I plan on sending you two to take them out. Be patient." Cooler explained them.

Ginkaku and Kinkaku looked at each other and back at Cooler who was grinning menacingly.

The Desert Towards the Shore

In the Desert, the Raikage was leading the Fifth Division towards the shore. While they were walking, Goten and Trunks were together with Ino and Kiba, talking about what they have been through I their own world.

"And then, while we were fused as Gotenks, we turned into a Super Saiyan 3 and kicked Majin Buu's butt throughout the Lookout!" Trunks explained excited.

"Wow that is so amazing! It was already really cool that you flew around the whole world in mere seconds! What happened with Majin Buu?" Ino asked.

"We trapped him inside an inescapable ball, and with help of Piccolo, we Meteor Smashed Majin Buu down to Earth. BAM! Creating a huge crater a town could live in!" Trunks went on.

"Was it so big that Konoha might fit in it?" Ino asked.

"Hmmm... I dunno, it might... I think..." Trunks hesitated.

"I wonder what it would be like if I fused with someone..." Ino said as she looked to her right side, where Kiba was walking with Akamaru.

Kiba looked at her and quickly knew what she was thinking. "Hell no Ino, you can forget that!" he said afterwards.

"I wouldn't think of sharing my gorgeous body with a boy, or you for that matter." Ino replied to his comment.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Kiba asked offended.

"Come on guys, don't fight. I don't think the Fusion Technique works on a boy and a girl, we never tried that though." Goten said, trying to stop them from insulting each other.

Kiba and Ino stopped their fighting.

"Anyways, must be amazing to be fused with someone else." Kiba told the boys.

"It feels really funny at first, but after a while of practicing it over and over, you will get used to the feeling." Goten explains.

After a while of walking, Ay saw the shore in his sight. On top of the mountain, below him was the shore, where the First Division was stationed first, now the Fifth would take their place on shore.

"Fellow ninjas! We have arrived on shore!" Ay said as he turned around to the Division. "Everyone station yourself and prepare for battle, make sure you got everything you need, that you have enough energy to fight, enough weapons to use and more!" the Raikage spoke out.

The Fifth Division went down the mountain. They all took place on shore and prepared everything they needed for battle against the White Zetsu army. Darui and Mifune prepared their swords and stored their chakra up.

"Alright, my sword is ready. Gale, Lightning- and Water Style are ready to go. Time to show what we are all capable off." Darui said.

Mifune sharpens his swords and thought for a moment. "Hanzo, I know you are close, we will face each other soon." Mifune said as he looked up in the sky.

While Shino was checking his insect as Killer Bee prepared his raps from his rap book.

"Hmmm... The Fifth Division will be the victor in this fight, all the ninjas will be shining very bright!" Killer Bee rapped.

"That line could have been better." Shino commented on Bee's rap skills.

"Criticism is required for improvement, with that I can expand my rap movement. Yo!" Bee rapped again as he wrote it down in his book.

"With practice comes skill indeed, Killer Bee." Shino said to him.

Kiba prepared Akamaru and the amount of kunais he had available to use.

"Got everything I need, how about you Akamaru? Got enough?" Kiba asked his dog.

Akamaru only barked, but Kiba understood perfectly that his dog was also ready for battle. Goten and Trunks were stretching their limbs.

"So Goten, who do you think we will fight? Those white things are pretty weak, I hope some strong guys appear soon." Trunks asked his friend.

"I don't know, but I do hope we get to have some fun." Goten answered.

"Yeah I guess so..." Trunks replied to Goten.

Then Ino came walking to the boys.

"Hey Goten, Trunks, are you guys ready?" Ino asked polite.

"Almost done, just need to stretch some muscle, we don't want to get hurt." Trunks said.

"Alright... uuhh... well what I wanted to tell you guys is..." Ino stuttered a bit.

"Ino, is there something wrong? You seem nervous?" Goten asked worried to the girl.

"No, no it's not that, I just wanted to tell you guy that I really loved the time you guys and the other are in the city. I had a lot of fun with many of you. I like training with Piccolo and your dad Goten." Ino said as she looked at Goten.

"Yes, dad is the best when it comes to fighting." Goten said happily.

"Seventeen has been a very thoughtful person for me, and I really like hanging out with you two, that story was so interesting. You have been through so much and you are still so young." Ino told them.

"Thanks Ino, I feel the same way, I am guessing Goten does as well." Trunks said.

"Sure do, you guys are very nice to us." Goten said.

"Besides, I rather be with you than with Sakura right now." Trunks said to her as he puts his arms crossed and his eyes closed.

Ino was surprised to hear that, on the other hand, not really, but she did want to know why Trunks thought that.

"Why is that Trunks? I thought you had a good time with Sakura?" Ino asked.

"Trunks insulted Sakura because we were playing a game, we stayed out of Sakura's way after that." Goten explained.

"Oh my God are you real? What did Trunks say!" Ino asked as she looked at Trunks. "Trunks what did you tell Sakura?" Ino asked excited.

"I said that her hair was ugly, her forehead is the shape of a billboard, that my full name fits on her forehead, nobody liked her temper and that some guy named Sasuke will never like her." Trunks said, yet feeling guilty of saying those things to Sakura.

However, Ino burst in laughter.

"Wow you really said that? That took some guts, I called her a billboard brow when we were younger, she does have a giant forehead. Hahahaha, I wish I was there to see it, I am sorry I missed it." Ino said to the boys.

"Trunks, you should apologize to Sakura, that was really mean what you did." Goten told Trunks.

"I know Goten, I will when the war is over, promised." Trunks promised him.

Darui approached the three.

"Hey, I was told by the Raikage that we all should gather with him, are you guys done." Darui asked.

"Yes we are done, we will be right there Darui." Trunks said.

Darui walked away, Goten stood up form the ground.

"This is it you guys, are you ready?" Ino asked.

"We are ready for anything, we can do this Goten." Trunks said.

"Yeah! Together, we can do anything!" Goten said excited.

Ino, Goten and Trunks walked up to the Raikage who had gathered all of the ninjas with him.

Headquarters

From Headquarters, Ao noticed with his Sensory abilities that a large unit of White Zetsu was approaching fast from the ocean.

"Shikaku, the Fifth Division is currently on shore, but there is a White Zetsu army going their way." Ao told him.

Shikaku thought for a second, and walked over to Inoichi.

"Inoichi, can you put me through with the Raikage?" Shikaku asked.

"No problem..." Inoichi said as he tried to contact Ay.

Several seconds later, Inoichi got through to the Raikage.

"Lord Raikage, can you hear me?" Shikaku asked.

The Raikage heard the strategist in his mind and concentrated to hear him out.

"Shikaku, what is your advice?" Ay asked straight to the point.

"The White Zetsu Army is approaching from sea, they will be there soon. Form 3 separate groups, each of them will fight a part of the army and reanimated if they are present." Shikaku told the Raikage.

"I see, what else do you got?" The Raikage asked.

"My advice to you is this. You still have Darui, Mifune and Killer Bee with you, appoint which of them will lead a group and make sure they at least have 5 ninjas from the Sealing Corps with them in case reanimated are with the Army." Shikaku explained.

"Understood, I must command the ninjas now, I will work things out!" Ay said.

The connection was broken. Right after, Ay turned to his Division with his hands behind his back.

"Fellow ninjas, our enemies are approaching fast. I want everyone to form three units, one lead by Darui, one by by Mifune and one by Killer Bee. Decide where you want to stand, make your decision quick!" The Raikage said.

The Fifth Division split up in 3 groups, Darui was appointed the leader of the first group, joined with Shino and several other ninjas from various villages. The second group consists of Mifune and more. The third group consists of Killer Bee, Ino, Goten, Trunks and Kiba.

The groups were made, with the Fifth Division standing in 3 major groups and in front was their leader, the Raikage.

"The groups are made, good." The Raikage said as he turned towards the ocean.

After several minutes of waiting, the White Zetsu started to rise up from the sea until they stood on top of the sea. The Raikage spotted the enemy.

"Our enemies have arrived, comrades in battle position!" The Raikage shouted.

The ninjas were ready for battle, as they awaited the attack of the Zetsu army. However, the surprises weren't done, because three more were rising up to the surface of the sea. The first one that was shown was Chiyo.

"That's Lady Chiyo!" Ino shouted at the woman.

"Young ninjas from different nations fighting together, never thought I would see this day." Chiyo said as she looked around the area.

The second one who rose was Kimimaro, as he stood on top of the water.

"Kimimaro?!" Kiba said.

"I am guessing that group of ninjas will be our main target in this war." Kimimaro said calm.

The last one rose from the middle of the two reanimated to the surface, Hanzo of the Salamander.

"Hanzo! I knew we would meet again." Mifune shouted at the ninjas.

"Mifune... it has been a long time." Hanzo commented.

The Raikage stepped up.

"I am well aware of who all of you are, Hanzo of the Salamander, Kimimaro from the Sound Village and Chiyo from the Sand Village. Who sent you here if I may ask, who is your leader." the Raikage asked.

"Lord Cooler sent us." Hanzo answered.

"Cooler, one of Goku's enemies, so we were right after all, he is our main focus..." the Raikage said as he looked at his three small units. "Darui, take your group and face Chiyo in battle, Bee, take you group and face Kimimaro, Mifune will stay here with me to face Hanzo. Go now!" Ay commanded.

"Everyone follow me!" Darui shouted.

Darui and his group ran to the far left side of the shore, as Killer Bee went to the far right side of the shore. Chiyo and Kimimaro followed their respective target to who they were focused on.

The Raikage and Mifune were left with their group of ninjas and Hanzo. Ay ordered the ninjas to engage in battle with the White Zetsu army, as he was left with Mifune to take care of Hanzo.

Hanzo walked towards the shore.

"I am sorry, but the caster of this Reanimation Technique is forcing me to do this, be on guard for every thing I might do, or you will die a painful death. The Technique caster restored me with my poison, one I destroyed the last time we faced." Hanzo told the two.

"Remember, I am a little resistant to your poison from the last time. I can't inhale too much, or I will still suffer the consequences." Mifune said.

Mifune said as he turned his head to the commander. "Lord Raikage, are you informed about Hanzo's abilities and toxic?" asked

"Yes, I know about the abilities from Hanzo of the Salamander, we need to divide our chances. Then attack at the right time without inhaling his poison or receiving poisonous hits." The Raikage suggested.

Mifune turned to the Raikage once again. "Lord Raikage, forgive me, but let me face Hanzo alone for the time being." Mifune suggested.

"What for? Explain yourself." Ay asked.

"I have faced Hanzo in battle before, two times, I am fully aware of his fighting style and abilities, and I overcame them." Mifune explained.

"Hmmm... Try it if you want, I will see how things will play out, but if you get in trouble I will step in. Watch out for his poison, his breath is not the only toxic he wields." The Raikage said to the samurai.

"Understood, and thank you." Mifune said as he walked over to Hanzo.

The Raikage jumped back from the two and stood tall with his arms crossed but with his guard still up.

The ninja from the Hidden Rain and the Samurai of the Land of Iron stood across each other for the third time. Hanzo grabbed his Kusarigama sword as Mifune held his katana, Kurosawa, up. In a flash, the two clashed in a sword struggle. Hanzo was shown struggling, as he suddenly opened his mouth, Mifune quickly saw it and jumped back, protecting his mouth and nose.

"Mifune, this battle will be more difficult, you have to breath in order to attack me or to get close." Hanzo informed the samurai.

Mifune held his sword again and thought for a moment. "Hanzo is right, the free chance he gets might release his toxic breath and I will die. I have to destroy his poison sack in his abdomen" Mifune thought in his head.

Hanzo saw Mifune thinking and quickly commented on him.

"Mifune, you are looking at this the wrong way..." Hanzo said as he showed his left abdomen. "The caster or the Reanimation technique modified me so that the poison in my left side can't be easily destroyed anymore." he said.

"Damn that Kabuto, he learned from the last time that Hanzo himself destroyed his poison on his left side, this time he brought him back with his poison protected from enemy attacks. Clever I must admit." Mifune said.

Mifune and Hanzo ran up to each other and entered another sword clash.

The Sea

On sea, Darui and his group cornered Chiyo, with Darui focusing more on Chiyo and his ninjas more on the White Zetsu army.

"Lady Chiyo, sources told me that you were a respected elder of the Hidden Sand and a master puppeteer able to take down whole nations, am I right?" Darui asked the old lady.

"Correct, hope you are not too cocky just because I am an old lady, underestimating your opponents is never any good." Chiyo stated wisely.

"I am actually more of a humble guy than I know. But still, even the smallest person can be as deadly as poison." Darui said humble as he grabbed his sword. "But while my group is fighting the Zetsu army, you will have to deal with me, I hope you don't underestimate my abilities yourself Lady Chiyo." he asked of the lady.

Chiyo spread her arms which shows her chakra strings and connects them to 10 White Zetsu's on the battlefield, now obeying her orders like a puppet.

"Let us see how skilled you really are." Chiyo said with the Zetsu on her side.

Darui reached to his back and grabbed his sword, pointing it at the old lady. "Not a problem for me." he said.

Chiyo sent 2 Zetsu towards Darui as he stood on guard of what she was planning to do.

"Wood Style! Binding Vines!" the Zetsu shouted at the ninja.

From their hands, several wooden vines grew and tried to bind Darui, but he saw it coming from a mile away and quickly jumped up. The wood vines followed the ninja into the sky still trying to hold him down.

"Heh, you won't catch me that easily." Darui said in mid air.

He grabbed his sword slashed the vines one by one. He then rushed down to the ground, towards the White Zetsu and cut them in half, destroying them.

"That's 2, 8 more to go." Darui said as he looked at Lady Chiyo who was not afraid of the jonin leveled ninja from the Hidden Cloud.

"He waits for his opponent to attack him, then when he sees an opening, he counters. Handy but is has its flaws." Chiyo thought.

Then she sent the remaining 8 White Zetsu towards Darui.

"Let's see how you will do against 8 of them, a highly skilled ninja like yourself should be able to take them on." Chiyo said.

She commanded the White Zetsu for their next technique.

"Wood Style: Wood Sword!" the Zetsu shouted

The remaining 8 Zetsu attacked Darui with their wooden swords, Darui awaited his opponents and stood on guard with his own sword. The Cloud ninja successfully blocked all of the sword attacks the Zetsu dealt.

"Alright, time to show her what I am capable off." Darui said as he prepared his hand signs.

Darui used the signs Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger and shouted "Water Style! Water Wall!" as he trapped the Zetsu in the water.

As the Water Wall was holding the Zetsu, Darui then prepared another set of hand signs Rat → Tiger → Dog → Snake → Dragon and shouted "Gale Style! Laser Circus!" as large energy beams traveled through the Water Wall and electrocuted the Zetsu in the process

They were turned into dust by Darui's combination attack. Darui stood clear again and wiped the sweat of his forehead. When he looked straight, he saw that Lady Chiyo was gone, out of sight.

"What the... where did she..." Darui said shocked as he looked around.

Suddenly, it happened, Darui couldn't move a muscle anymore, like his movement was restricted or worse, controlled by another. Darui could only focus his pupils behind and saw that Lady Chiyo had her chakra strings on his body parts, controlling his movement.

"Ergh... This can't be, was this her plan all along? To control me instead of those White Zetsu?" Darui said shocked.

"Awaiting your opponents their attacks and countering at the right time is a handy strategy, but it still has its flaws. You are too focused on what my puppets would do, instead of watching my movement. I used those Zetsu to test out how good you really are, and when I sent all of my puppets to attack you, you were too focused on the puppets instead of the puppeteer." Chiyo explained wisely again.

"So... are you going to use me to fight against my own group?" Darui asked the old lady.

"I have no choice young man, the caster makes me do this and use this strategy." Chiyo said as she took fully control of Darui's body.

As Chiyo and Darui went to Darui's group of ninjas, one ninja stood in front of the two. Shino Aburame appeared before the puppeteer with his hands in his pocket.

"Darui, it seems like you were caught by Lady Chiyo as her puppet." Shino said.

"She caught me off guard, watch out Shino, she will use me against you." Darui warned the ninja.

"I understand, I will set you free from her bindings, it will be difficult, you might get hurt. But I won't let that happen." Shino commented.

"Young ninja, try and take me down if you are skilled enough." Chiyo told Shino.

"I will do what I can." Shino said when he prepared himself for battle against Lady Chiyo and Darui of the Hidden Cloud.

Beach and Mountain Area

At Killer Bee and his group, he himself, Goten, Trunks, Ino and Kiba encountered Kimimaro who was on top of the cliff with the small group of the Fifth Division below him. The rest of the ninjas were fighting the White Zetsu Army.

"Hey, get down here and fight us already, you have kept us waiting long enough!" Trunks shouted at him from below.

"That little one seems pretty confident in his strength. Now, I wonder what kind of abilities you all have that can match mine." Kimimaro said.

"My powers are the best you have ever seen, tailed beasts combined with my skills is way too clean!" Killer Bee rapped.

But Trunks got impatient.

"Why don't you come down to find out already!" Trunks said as he then let out a big sight out of boredom.

Kimimaro grabbed his bone out of his spine and formed it as a sword, holding onto it. He waited for the right opportunity to strike down one of them.

"Ew, that guy grabbed his bone out his body! Doesn't that hurt?" Goten said disgusted.

"Yelg... yeah I have heard about him and his techniques to use his bones as weapons, Rock Lee and Gaara had a hard time against him. I don't think it hurts him." Kiba explained.

"Alright if you won't come down, allow me to help you come down!" Trunks said.

He raised his hands and gathered energy in both his hands, he aimed directly for Kimimaro.

"Finish Buster!" Trunks shouted as he released a medium sized energy ball towards the mountain.

Kimimaro saw the attack coming and just in time, but he didn't move an inch. The attack hit the mountain as smoke covered the area.

"Where did he go? Did I hit him?" Trunks asked around.

"Stay on guard little guys, make sure his attack does not seem as a surprise!" Killer Bee rapped.

"Bee, do you really have to rhyme everything together?" Kiba asked annoyed.

"I am a rapper, this is my style, don't worry about my rapping worry about our hostile!" Bee rapped again.

But Ino noticed someone behind Trunks, Kimimaro stood behind the little boy with his bone sword.

"Trunks! Behind you!" Ino shouted.

Kimimaro quickly struck Trunks with his sword, but the little half breed managed to hold Kimimaro's bone sword in between his right arm and his right side.

"Hmph?" Kimimaro mumbled.

"Now I got you, I hope you didn't expect to surprise me with that sword." Trunks said brave.

"Alright Trunks, you got him!" Goten shouted.

He got stuck in Trunks hold as he tried to release himself from the boy's grip, setting him up for an attack.

"Now Goten, what we practiced in the Cloud city! Charge him!" Trunks shouted.

"I am on it!" Goten said as he flew towards Kimimaro head on, literally. "Charge!" he shouted in the process trying to hit the boy with his head.

Kimimaro focused his pupils behind and saw that Goten was speeding towards him he then released his bones on his back and formed them as spikes, sharpening them and letting Goten hurt himself on the spikes.

"Eeeww! Wow wait wait, no no no stop stop!" Goten shouted as he quickly hit the brakes on his attack.

He managed to stop just in time and jumped back from the two.

"Goten what did you..." Trunks said.

"It was a nice strategy, but you can't get rid of me that easily." Kimimaro stated.

He then grabbed another bone and formed it as a sword too I his left hand, trying to slash Trunks' head off, but the little boy caught the slash with two fingers and broke it in half. Then kicked the reanimated boy to the curve as he fell on his back.

"It was a nice try boys, we will think of something else." Ino said.

"We will get him, he got lucky that's all." Trunks said.

Kimimaro stood up from the ground, his bone sword got broken in half, so he disposed of it and only used his original sword he made earlier in his right hand.

"The little ones are strong... and that Hidden Cloud ninja is no joke, however..." Kimimaro said as he spotted both Ino and Kiba.

He especially noticed Kiba who was staring him down with a challenging look on his face. Kiba then walks over to Kimimaro who was on guard with his sword with no fear in his eyes.

"Kiba? What are you..." Ino asked as she got interrupted by the Konoha ninja.

"Don't worry Ino, and this goes for the rest of you, don't interfere now." Kiba told his comrades.

"What is your plan yo, tell us so that we can know!" Bee rapped.

"Yeah Kiba, what are you doing, I thought we would do this together!" Goten asked him worried.

Orochimaru's former subordinate awaited Kiba who came closer and closer. Eventually, Kiba and Kimimaro stood right across each other and stared each other down. Akamaru only barked at the two. Kiba spoke up.

"Were you a member of the Sound 4 from the Sound Village?" Kiba asked him.

"Yes, I was, until I was diagnosed with an illness, and it was renamed the Sound 4, I was the strongest out of the 5." Kimimaro answered.

"Hmm... 2 years ago, I fought and defeated Sakon and Ukon in a difficult battle after they tried to take Sasuke from the village." Kiba told him.

"Impressive that you were able to beat Sakon and Ukon, but he is far below my abilities." Kimimaro remarks him.

Suddenly, Kiba grabbed his kunai and attacked Kimimaro, as the Sound ninja used his sword. The two collided between the point of the kunai and bone sword. With Kiba struggling to get through to Kimimaro's defense, the reanimated ninja held on non nonchalantly.

"What are you trying to prove Kiba?" Kimimaro asked.

"Yes, I would like to know that too, we are supposed to fight him together Kiba, not 1 on 1!" Ino shouted at him.

"It is because Naruto has grown a hundred fold ever since our encounter with the Sound 4, he can take down Kimimaro no sweat! Gaara managed to defeat him with his Sand." Kiba said.

"Well yeah but..." Ino said as Kiba went on.

"So now it is my turn to beat the strongest guy of the Sound 5, to prove I have grown in strength and skill! Don't interfere, I can take care of Kimimaro myself. Of course, if I need help, I will ask you guys, but I won't need it." Kiba said confident in his new found abilities.

"Confidence is 1 thing, but understanding your own abilities is a necessity for a ninja." Kimimaro said.

"We will see when time goes by!" Kiba said as he attacked Kimimaro with his kunai again.

The former Sound ninjas blocked many the kunai strikes, clashing each direct hit with another.

"You won't keep this up much longer." Kimimaro commented in the skirmish.

"We'll see..." Kiba replied back.

Kiba was indeed getting tired and started to slack a bit, Kimimaro saw the opportunity and got out of the skirmish, using his bone sword to directly stab Kiba through the stomach.

"Dargh!" Kiba grunted, receiving the sword.

"I got you now, it is over..." Kimimaro said as he closed his eyes out of grief.

"Kiba!" Ino shouted.

"No!" Goten and Trunks both yelled.

Kiba fell on the ground, beaten. He saw that his comrades ran up to him and quickly spoke up to them before it was too late.

"No, stay back! Please! I can... still..." Kiba yelled as he tried to get up off the ground and face the Sound ninja.

"Are you insane, you are hurt!" Trunks shouted worried.

"Stay back Trunks! You too, Goten and Ino!" Kiba said once again.

The three stopped running and kept looking at Kiba with worried faces.

"Guys, just wait... this is... not over!" Kiba stuttered when suddenly something miraculous happened to him.

Kiba's body went up in smoke, as it was revealed that it was never really Kiba at all in the first place,but merely a shadow clone.

"What the... what happened to Kiba!" Trunks shouted.

"It was a Shadow Clone all along? But if that's a clone, where is the real...?" Ino asked.

"A clone? Where is..." Kimimaro said as he got nervous and kept looking around, not getting a sight of where Kiba was hiding.

Then from the ground, Kiba ambushed Kimimaro out of nowhere. He punched him in the stomach as it temporarily stunned the reanimated ninja.

"No, this can't be..." Kimimaro mumbled.

"Let's go Akamaru, now!" Kiba shouted.

He managed to catch the Sound ninja off guard and used a combination technique with his dog.

"Passing Fang!" Kiba shouted in the process.

With a ferocious spinning attack like a tornado, Kiba and Akamaru directly hit Kimimaro, in the process of the attack, Kimimaro started to fall apart by the effects of Kiba's attack.

"Urgh, this attack..." Kimimaro grunted.

The Sound Ninja got carried to the cliff and got dug inside, further and further by the spinning attack. Kiba stood on the ground again, with Akamaru next to him, barking, as he looked at the result of his own layed out plan

"We did it Akamaru, our plan worked perfectly." Kiba said.

Goten, Trunks, Ino and Bee ran up to the boy.

"Kiba that was incredible!" Ino commented amazed by his actions.

"I'll say, I never saw that coming, it was like you already thought everything out!" Trunks said.

"But how did you do it? When you got stabbed, I got really worried about you, I thought you were going to die!" Goten said.

"Explain! Explain yo yo!" Killer Bee rapped.

"Hahaha, easy guys, you see, after the Raikage said that we had to split up in 3 groups, I thought that I wanted to take on Kimimaro to see how much stronger I have become. When we ran away, chasing Kimimaro, I made a shadow clone and hid myself under ground for a surprise attack he would never even know about. So my clone took my place for the time being. By then I just let the clone fight in my place until it was time for a counter attack or whenever he found an opening." Kiba explained proudly.

"I am very impressed you thought his far ahead Kiba, usually you are just a hothead, but this is something Naruto would do." Ino said to him.

"Well... yeah... but I perfected it, you see?" Kiba said.

While everyone was talking, Goten looked at the ruble and noticed that several rocks were moving around.

"Uuhh, you guys?" Goten said as he tried to get their attention.

No one payed attention to the little half breed as they kept talking to each other.

"Kiba, hello Kiba!" Goten shouted at him.

"What is it Goten? You sound like you saw a ghost or something." Kiba questioned him.

"Over there!" Goten said as he pointed at the rubble.

Kiba looked back, he saw that Kimimaro has been fully restored as he had his head down for a moment.

"Damnit, this will be more difficult than I thought." Kiba said as he prepared for battle once again. "Akamaru, we are not done yet, guess we should have sealed him away when we got the chance." he said to his companion.

Kimimaro stood tall on the ground.

"It appears you are stronger than I originally thought, you came off as a loud mouth but actually surprised me there with that attack of yours. Using a shadow clone to fight in your place, and take him over when you see a chance of countering. Impressive strategy Kiba. " Kimimaro said.

Then from his body, Orochimaru's curse mark started to glow, as it spreads throughout his whole body, showing holes of his bones all over using the first level of his curse mark. He then activated the second level as his skin changed to light-brown and larges bone-like spikes on his back. He had fully transformed into what Orochimaru wanted him to be.

"I don't like the sound of this, that guy is just all over the place." Trunks said troubled.

"Well he is the strongest out of the Sound 4, not surprising he is not down by just one attack." Ino said.

"This is the power of Orochimaru's curse mark, the Cursed Seal of Earth, one of the strongest seals every created! The only seal that counters mine is the Cursed Seal of Heaven, the one Sasuke bears right now. Let us see if you are good enough to face me in this form Kiba!" Kimimaro shouted.

Kiba looked shocked seeing his transformation, also knowing that Kimimaro was capable of this much.

"Aw damn! What have I gotten myself into." Kiba thought troubled. "No running away from this, but I never planned to run. I am ready, come on!" he shouted as Akamaru barked.

Kimimaro charged him head on.

"Here I go!" the Sound ninja said, rushing Kiba who stood in his fighting stance across Kimimaro.
