CHAPTER 8: Awkward Morning
" Ring! Ring!...Ring! Ring! " the alarm clock rang
Erza was still asleep " Natshuuuu " Erza muttered
" Ring! Ring!... Ring! Ring! " the alarm clock rang again
" Ughh, morning already? " Erza muttered again as she finally shut off the alarm clock
" Dang, and I was just having a great dream, Oh well, better get ready, don't want to be late for school " Erza thought as she got up and head
to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Natsu's already ready to go to school, but he felt that he was too early, then he got an idea..
" Hmmm " Natsu muttered as he got in to his car.
" Thank you Grandma! " Erza said " that was a great breakfast! " Erza added
" No problem my dear " Her Grandma responded
" Okay!, I'm off to school now, take care Grandma! " Erza said
" You too!, take care honey! " her Grandma said as they both waved each other goodbye
Erza then proceeded to the door, when she opened it she got surprised
" Na..Nat..suu " Erza stuttered, surprised
" Goodmorning Erza! " Natsu greeted as he presented Erza a gift box, Erza immediately blushed
" Natsu!, what are you doing here! " Erza said trying to sound stern while blushing
" Uhh, well I got up early and figured that I would be probably alone in the classroom so... I got you this cake " Natsu replied as he walked to
Erza with the box, Erza was just standing there " No one ever did this to me before..." her blush almost red as her hair
" uhh thanks... " Erza said
" You're welcome " Natsu replied with his grin and scratching his head.. faint blush evident on his cheeks
" Uh... is it strawberry? " Erza asked, couldn't keep it in
" Yeah..." Natsu replied, Erza immediately drooled
" Woah!, Erza you're drooling " Natsu told Erza," let's get in the car, i have some tissues there" Natsu added, they both proceeded to the car
" the hell, i just drooled in front of Natsu!, i blame you tounge!" Erza thought
" Stand still..." Natsu said as he proceeded to wipe Erza's drool off her face, both of them then blush and turned their back at each other as
they both realize what they were doing...the were like a true couple
" You idiot!, you made her feel awkward! " Natsu thought
" He just wiped drool off my face..." Erza thought blushing, after a full minute of silence Natsu finally spoke
" So... let's go to the school?, we don't want to be late " Natsu asked Erza as they both faced each other
" Sure, thank you " Erza replied, still blushing
" Don't mention it " Natsu replied with his famous grin
They then both proceeded to enter the car and head off to the school...
The ride to the school was fairly quiet, both were nervous, until one of the tissue rolls fell... they were both reaching for it, instead, they both touched each
other's hands, both of their hands retracted quickly... blushing marathon ensues...
" So many things happening today... " Natsu said
" Tell me about it " Erza replied as they both smiled.
