Summary: Bella broke the Cullen family when she decided she rather be a wolf girl, than a vampire girl. Can Kagome be the one to heal their unbeating hearts, or will they be the ones to heal her shattered soul.

Chapter One

Edward sighed closing his eyes. He didn't think this would have happened...he lost her. He lost his love, his life...his beautiful Bella.

She didn't want him anymore.

The words replayed over and over in his head.

"I can't do this anymore..."

"If you won't change me...then...then..."

"We're over.." the words whispered as his voice cracked saying the words that broke his unbeating heart.

He tried to hold his emotions back. He knew that he should change her, but he couldn't. He didn't want to damn her to this world. Bella may think she understands what she was giving up...but he knew she didn't.

Bella only saw the good things, that she would live forever with him. Yes, he wanted that, but he wasn't so cruel to make her go through what it means to be a vampire.

That she would be consumed by thirst, that she could lose her memories in the change...that she would never have children...and she would never get to see her parents or anyone she knew as a human again.

He knew it wasn't right for her to give up all that for him.

A sob finally broke free, tears he would never get to shed building up in his eyes.

'Edward'

He heard the voice but he didn't listen as sobs wracked his body.

"I'm so sorry...I.." the voice was pained as small arms wrapped around his shoulders, trying to comfort him.

'I didn't see it...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry!' The voice said over and over again, knowing the words wouldn't give him any comfort though.

"Its not your fault Alice..." Edward whispered after he calmed his sobs. The arms tightened around him, telling him she heard him...but she didn't believe it.

"I'm sorry." This time she said it out loud eyes closed as she buried her head into the crook of his neck... "I'm sorry"

Edward just closed his eyes trying to get his emotions under control...trying to make himself presentable to go home.

His family didn't know what had happened.

Bella was no longer going to be a Cullen...and she was no longer a Vampire girl. Bella...no Isabella Swan was now a wolf girl, and she wasn't going to come back to him.

It was over.

Taking a deep breath in Edward opened his eyes, "The..." He paused, "...the rest of the family doesn't know do they..."

Alice shook her head, lifting her head as she propped her chin on his shoulder, "No...I...I thought it would be better if we told them all together..."

Alice bit her lip, venom tears building up in her eyes again.

"It's not your fault..." Edward said again, knowing where her thoughts were going too.

Alice shook her head, "It is...I...I told you to pursue her when you first came to the conclusion you liked her. I feel like I shouldn't have...if..."

Edward gave a small smile, "It isn't your fault...you didn't see this coming...don't blame yourself."

Looking up at the darkening sky Edward closed his eyes briefly before opening them again, "We should get going...it is going to be a long night."

Alice gave him a final squeeze with her arms, before letting go and standing up from the forest ground.

It was going to be a long night...everything had changed...and she didn't know if they would be all right...she didn't know.

In the first time in a long time, Alice was at a loss on what to do.
