Felicity twiddled with her ring as she waited for the plane to take off. There wasn't much talking on the way to the airstrip. They were in such a hurry to put an ocean between them and Ra's al Ghul, that everyone barely said a word. She wasn't surprised to see Oliver, Diggle, and even Sara. Bruce's presence was a surprise, but she should have known he'd come for her as well. Bruce Wayne was the Batman after all.

When the pilot announced they were taking off, and reminded everyone to put on their seatbelts, she saw Oliver visibly relax. He was still holding himself rigid, but some of the tension seemed to ease away. She found herself wanting to comfort him, let him know that she was okay, they didn't hurt her… but things were so odd between them.

She knew they were all trying to digest what they learned about her parentage. Hell, she was still digesting it. However, she didn't want it to become an issue with the people she cared about. She knew that Oliver and Diggle wouldn't hold it against her, but she wasn't sure about Sara and Bruce. She knew that Sara was basically a prisoner to the league, forced to do horrible things. Even now, she spent her time hiding from them. Bruce Wayne obviously had no affection for Ra's or his organization of killers, and from what she saw that extended to Nyssa.

She didn't want to keep secrets; she didn't want this to damage her relationships. There was nothing she could do, it was beyond her control. Ra's al Ghul was her father, Nyssa her sister. Years ago, if things had been different, she'd be named Talia, and she'd probably be just like Nyssa. She couldn't help but be thankful for the card she was dealt instead.

Deciding it was best to clear the air, "are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?" She asked her companions.

Diggle gave her a tight smile, "only if you want to," he said. She appreciated his support. She knew she could always count on him.

"It's not necessary," Oliver cut in. "It doesn't make a difference." He said, almost as if he was trying to convince himself. "The only thing we need to worry about is keeping you safe."

"I know it doesn't matter to you guys," she said to Diggle and Oliver. "But I think it may be an issue for Bruce and Sara." She shifted a bit in her seat, so she could face them. Bruce was across from her, next to Oliver, and Sara was one seat away from her, next to Diggle.

Sara was uncomfortable with the conversation, it wasn't something she wanted to talk about in front of everyone. "Umm, I'm going to change. We can talk after if you want," She promised, hoping Felicity wouldn't take it personally.

Felicity nodded and watched her grab the duffle bag beside her, before disappearing to the bathroom.

Her heart sank a little, she and Sara weren't great friends, but they were getting there. Felicity remembered the few times she made the blonde laugh, when she was delivering messages to her father for her. She wondered if her connection to the league would be too much for her to handle. She hoped not.

Bruce cleared his throat, "I do have a few questions, if you don't mind?" he asked.

"Sure," she rushed out, seeing that Oliver was ready to say something, and not wanting him to dissuade Bruce.

Bruce looked at the flustered woman in front of him. He was sure she knew who he was by now, Ra's and his daughter did not do well with keeping other people's secrets. "You had no idea that Ra's was your father?" It wasn't the main question he had, but those would have to wait until they were alone.

"None," she said, shaking her head. "I was adopted as a baby. I was thirteen when my parents sat me down and told me. At that time, I didn't have the skills to seek my biological parents out, and I really didn't want to. I was lucky. My parents were wonderful people who supported me in everything I did. Even after they passed away, I was never tempted."

"Why now?" He asked, "Did they say why they waited so long?"

"They discovered my connection to the Arrow, to Sara's Canary, and finally to you. I guess you can say I fell into their laps, so to speak. According to Nyssa, they've been keeping tabs on me for years, but it wasn't until after the destruction of the Glades that they discussed brining me in. Apparently, my association with vigilantes, especially the one they were hunting, solidified their decision to get me." She explained. "I'm starting to feel like a vigilante magnet, to be honest." She said, throwing a pointed look at Bruce.

"I figured they told you who I was," he admitted. "You won't be safe," he said with certainty. "They came for you once, I have no doubt they'll come again."

Felicity shook her head, "I'll be fine. Nyssa said she'd make sure her father would leave me alone."

"And you take her word for it," Bruce scoffed. "I'm sorry Felicity, but Nyssa cannot be trusted. Let's not forget that Ra's is not only her father, he's yours too. That's something he will not easily forget, or put aside."

"As much as I hate to… I agree with him." Oliver said, butting into their conversation. "You're not safe, and until we can make it so, you're going back to your apartment."

Felicity bristled, she had enough of people trying to run her life.

"It's cute that either of you think you have any say over what I do." Crossing her arms in annoyance, she continued. "Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful you came for me… but if you think that I will be living anywhere other than my home, you have another thing coming. I'm choosing to trust Nyssa. She was helping me escape; she told me that she'd made sure Ra's was too occupied to worry about me."

Oliver leaned forward in his seat, resting his elbows on his knees. He didn't want to come off too strong, but he had to make her understand the reality of the situation. "Felicity, I know she's your sister, but she's also an assassin. You can't trust her."

Rubbing her hands over her face, she knew it would be hard to convince Oliver or Bruce otherwise. "You don't have to trust her, Oliver, and neither do you, Bruce. She's my sister, and I'm choosing to believe her. I know it's crazy, and frankly I find her a little unhinged, but I feel like she truly just wanted me to be her sister. I mean, she was helping me escape."

Diggle observed the three. He knew that sometimes family can blind you, but he also trusted Felicity's instincts. Why would Nyssa have helped her, if she wasn't willing to see it through? After the hell they'd all been through the last thing they needed was to spend seven hours angry at each other.

"If you trust her, I trust you." Diggle said ignoring the incredulous expression on Oliver's face.

"I think we need to allow Felicity to make her own decisions. She's a grown woman, and she doesn't need us telling her what to do. I understand the concerns, I share some of them, but I think we can work around them." He reasoned, hoping that Oliver would fall in line before pushing her further away.

"How are we going to work around the league wanting to get her back, Diggle?" Oliver asked.

"We protect her. There's no reason she can't live at her place. We can protect her from there, and seeing as her GPS serum worked, it may not be a bad idea to keep using it. Not only on Felicity, but on all of us." He suggested.

"Yes. The serum was a success as far as I can tell," Bruce agreed. "I haven't felt any side effects, but once things calm down, we'll have to take more blood work and make sure nothing has changed."

"It'd also be a good idea to take other tests too," Felicity said. "Just to be sure the serum doesn't have any effect on muscle tissue or bone density. It shouldn't but you never know when putting something foreign in your system. Diggle's right, once we have all the results back; everyone in the vigilante biz should be injected with the serum. God knows it'd make my life easier."

"What would make you life easier?" Sara asked, dressed in jeans and a black T-shirt.

Felicity was happy that Sara was talking to them. "Um… the GPS serum. We were talking about using it, once all the tests come back. That way if any of us, goes missing, gets kidnapped, or you know, lost… we'll always be able to track them." She explained, giving Sara a small smile.

Sara fastened her seatbelt, and managed to give Felicity a tight smile. She knew she was being moody, but she couldn't get over the events of this night. Not only was Felicity the sister to the woman, with whom she shared the most real relationship with. Nyssa was completely unaffected when she saw her. It was safe to say that Nyssa was not only over her, but would never forgive her for running away. She knew that they were doomed the moment she returned to Starling. She was supposed to stay dead, that was the deal. However, once the Glades happened, she had to go back. She had to protect her family, even if it was just from the shadows.

"That's a good idea, Felicity."

"It was Diggle's idea, actually." Felicity admitted..

Sara pursed her lips, "I'm not surprised. Always thinking like a military man, aren't you?"

"What can I say, it's hard to leave the lifestyle behind." Diggle acknowledged.

They spent the rest of the flight sharing light conversation. Oliver kept mostly to himself, not that she was surprised. She knew he didn't welcome Bruce's presence, and she knew the moment they were alone, he'd share exactly what was on his mind.

She peeked at him, from time to time. She could see the stiffness in his face, and body. He was concerned for her safety, and no matter what she told him, nothing would change that. It was one of the things that had always driven her crazy, yet, she appreciated it.

She missed him in the last few months. She wasn't going to lie to herself about it. Every day and night, she worried about him, and wondered what he was up to. When she heard that he had reconciled with Laurel, she asked herself if she had made the right choice. Would Oliver have come back to her, if she'd just waited it out? Maybe. However, she knew that she deserved more than uncertainty, and as long as Laurel was in the picture that's how she'd feel. As far as she knew they never had any sort of proper closure, and from what she could tell neither were in a hurry to get any.

It was depressing. She wanted him. She loved him, but she wanted him whole. She wasn't willing to share him with his past, his ex, or even his doubts. She wanted all of him, the good and the bad. She just didn't know if he'd ever give himself over completely like that.

Oliver wasn't her only worry. She wanted to pretend that nothing would change, that she'd go back to Wayne Enterprises, and continue her work like she was never gone. That was impossible now, Bruce was the Batman, and she knew his secret. On top of that she now knew that Lucius was one of his partners. Where she stood with Bruce Wayne was unclear to her, but she knew, she would have to sit down with him and work it out.

She was thankful to have been blessed with John. She knew that he wouldn't push her for information, he'd allow her to come to him on her own, and she would. He was always willing to lend her an ear.

Sara was the biggest wildcard for her. She spent years in the league, doing horrible things to survive. Felicity was worried about where she'd stand with the blonde. She enjoyed her time with Sara, and throughout the months had grown attached to her and her father. She didn't want to lose either of them, but she understood if Sara couldn't handle being around her anymore. This entire situation was just fucked. She went from having dead parents, to a psychopath father, and bipolar assassin sister. One day, she would write a best seller.

When they landed, Bruce had his driver waiting for him. He told her to take a few days to herself, but that he would like to sit down and talk to her. She figured he wanted to be sure his secret would be safe with her.

Sara promised to pass by her house the following morning, before making her way home.

She was left with Oliver and Diggle, not that she minded. She tried to remember what her house looked like when she left it hoping it wasn't a pigsty. She had a feeling that she wouldn't be spending the night alone.

When they arrived to her apartment, Felicity wanted nothing more than to shower and get into her pajamas.

Turning to the two men, who seemed to crowd her modest living room, "I'm guessing one of you is staying the night."

"Diggle can go home. I'll stay the night." Oliver offered, ignoring Diggle's amusment.

"Maybe we should ask Felicity what she wants us to do." Diggle suggested.

Oliver's annoyance was clear, she didn't really want to be left alone with him, but she knew they had things they needed to hash out. Plus, she didn't want to make him feel bad. She had been avoiding serious conversation with him for a while, and maybe it was time to get it over with.

"It's fine. You deserve to go home and relax, before coming back tomorrow to baby sit me." She said, walking over to Diggle to give him a hug. "Thanks for coming for me."

Diggle wrapped his arms around her, "you don't need to thank me for that. No matter what we're a family."

She pulled back a little and gave him a big smile, "we are."

Diggle grabbed his duffle from the floor, "if you guys need anything call me. I'll see you in the morning."

She watched as Oliver followed Diggle out, making sure to lock the door behind him. She knew he'd go around the apartment checking that the windows were locked, and the curtains closed. This was not something new, he did this every time he spent the night.

She grabbed her pajamas and ran to the bathroom. After she had a hot shower, she'd set up the guest room for Oliver, and then if he wanted to talk, she'd listen.

Once Oliver heard the shower turn on, he called for pizza. He didn't have to look in her fridge to know all she would have is old delivery food. He sat himself down on her sofa, and waited.

He was relieved that they found her, and she was okay, but the threat remained. He knew she always saw the good in people, and with Nyssa, it was no different. Add the fact that the two were sisters, it made sense that Felicity wanted to take her at her word.

He knew better. Nyssa couldn't be trusted. The league never let anyone go, Sara was proof of this. He was sure that Nyssa had an ulterior motive for releasing Felicity, and that's what concerned him. She wasn't safe.

He admitted to himself that staying wasn't just about protecting her. It was his main objective, but he'd be lying to himself, if he didn't admit he was hoping to get back in her good graces. He knew that the mistakes were all his, and that he allowed his insecurities, and doubts get the best of him. Any hesitation he may have had, were none existent anymore. He knew he belonged with Felicity.

He was so consumed in his thoughts; he didn't hear Felicity enter the living room. "You okay?" she asked taking the seat beside him.

Shifting his body towards her and giving her a small smile, "yeah. I was just thinking."

Felicity had thrown on a pair of black yoga pants and a camisole, her hair still wrapped in a towel. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. A part of her hoped he'd decline, and they could just manage to make it through the night with minimal awkwardness.

Oliver thought about for a moment, or at least pretended to. Of course, he wanted to talk about it. He just didn't know how to bring it up.

" I – I know you trust her," he started to say, deciding to bring up the safety issue fist. "I know that this whole revelation must be shocking to you, I mean, it's shocking to everyone." He admitted, hoping that she'd be willing to work with him.

"Regardless of what Nyssa promised, Ra's is a wildcard. I can't," he paused. "We can't take the chance that Ra's comes after you again. You can't be unprotected, and I don't know how we can take care of you if you're working at Wayne. I know you love your job, but right now you have to consider your own safety." His voice was almost pleading. He didn't want to experience losing her again. He already had twice, he wouldn't survive a third.

She knew it was coming, she knew that her job would be an issue for him. She appreciated his concern, but she couldn't help but think that it was another way for him to bring her back into his life.

"Oliver, I know you worry… I worry about you all the time, even more so after I left. I know what you're feeling, but I can't give up my job, my project. I am choosing to trust Nyssa to keep her promise, but you're right, Ra's is a wildcard. However, I'm sure that Bruce, if I'm even still employed, will take the proper security measures. Plus, he's batman." She said, trying to lighten the mood.

Oliver scoffed, "I don't care if he's Batman, sure he has some shiny toys, but can he and will he protect you? I'm sorry; I just don't trust him with your life."

"Well, that's too bad, because the only person that needs to be trusted with my life, is me. I know you're worried, but it's my life Oliver, and I'll live it. I refuse to spend the rest of my days looking over my shoulder afraid that one day the League is going to get me. That's not living."

"You're right." He said reaching over to cover one of her hands with his own. He didn't want to upset her, and that's exactly what he did. "That's why we need to figure out a way to bring Ra's down. I'm not suggesting we kill him. He's your father, no matter how fucked up. We can contain him, though, and I think ARGUS would be willing to help. I know they want Ra's out of business, and it's the best solution. Once we're successful, you can go back to live your life how you want, but until then please, just work with me. Let me help you. Take a leave from work, we can do this together."

Pulling her hand out of his grasp, "look Oliver, I told Bruce I would meet with him," she said.

"I imagine he wants to talk to me about my family connections, and I'm sure he doesn't want the League connected to Wayne Industries, so you may get your wish, and I may be unemployed." Shifting a little closer to him, and giving him a small smile, hoping to soften the blow, she continued. "However, I won't go back to Queen. I'm not ready, and I don't know if I ever will be. If Bruce doesn't fire me, then I will go back to work, but I'll also help you take down Ra's. I just, I want to leave Nyssa out of it."

Why must she be so stubborn, Oliver thought. "How can I be CEO of QC, and still protect you? I understand it's a lot but work with me a little." He begged. "How do you think your sister is going to react to her father being imprisoned? The point of taking down Ra's is to eliminate the league; we can't do that with Nyssa still around to run it."

"Oliver, we don't have to figure it all out right now. Let me talk to Bruce, let me find out where I stand with his company, and then we'll go from there. As for Nyssa, let me take care of it. I don't think she would be against having a second chance at a different life, but you have to let me deal with her."

"You've known her for less than a week, how can you be so sure?" He asked.

"I'm not, but I'm willing to give her a chance, which is all she was asking for. Sara is coming by tomorrow, and I would like to get her opinion on this."

Oliver didn't want to argue with her, he just wanted her to be realistic about things. "I'll drop it tonight, but tomorrow we're going to figure this out."

"Okay," she agreed, getting up from the couch. "I'm going to set up the guest room for you."

"Don't. I'm going to sleep on the sofa," he explained.

"Why? You'll be way more comfortable in the room, on a real bed."

"It's too far from your room, I rather be close by." It was the truth, he was afraid to be too far away. He knew this couldn't be a regular occurrence, but for tonight he didn't plan on budging.

Felicity knew there was no use in arguing. She knew there was more that they needed to discuss, more needed to be said, but she was thankful that it wouldn't happen tonight.

Bending down, she wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug. "Thank you, Oliver, I know no matter what I can always count on you. Feel free to grab whatever you need from the guest room. Have a goodnight."

He didn't say anything; he just gave her a small smile and watched as she walked into her room. He noticed that she didn't close it all the way, and he knew she did it for his benefit. He hoped that tomorrow she'd be more open to compromising with him. He'd have to have a talk with Sara tomorrow, she was his best insight into Ra's al Ghul's organization. Maybe, if he was lucky, he could get Felicity to talk to him about possibly reconciling in the future. He knew she would shoot him down at the moment, but he just needed to get a little bit of hope.

Thank you guys for the feedback, and for sticking with me. I'm sorry for the wait.
