Lights fill the endless sky

They illuminate the world below

Before I fade

Birds rapidly flap their wings

As I soar among their delicate feathers

Before I fade

I turn to you, from above

I call out in desperation; tears fill my eyes

I extend my arms, reaching for you

I can feel my body disappearing

Before I fade

I see your smiling face; so cheerful and alive

It's an expression I've always longed to see

I realize that you're happy now

You've moved on to a brighter path in life
