Epilogue

Remix's holoform looked around the small town of Bronte, Texas. She knew what she was looking for as did those with her.

"Where is that ice cream shop?"

"Calm down, Sureshot," Knock Out said, "It's right over there."

The three walked into the small shop where a dark-haired man had his back to them. "I'll be with you in just a second." He placed something under a counter and turned around. His eyes lit up with recognition. "Remix, Sureshot, Knock Out!"

"Axel!" The young man ran around the counter and hugged all of them.

Sureshot smirked. "I thought you'd get a real job."

"This is a real job," Axel defended, "I own this store and I make my own ice cream. It's a real job!"

The mech laughed. "Ok, ok, I give…"

The young man smiled at the Decepticon medic. "Hey Doc, what're you doing here?"

"Well, I kinda jumped sides… after Breakdown was killed…"

"Oh," Axel's eyes fell downcast, but soon brightened again. "Well, let's not dwell on that." He smiled. "Give me a couple minutes and let me close down and we'll go see Angel."

Remix looked towards the golden band on Axel's ring finger. "You mean, Mrs. Angel Richman?"

"Yep!"

Axel, sitting in the passenger seat of Remix's alt mode, with Knock Out and Sureshot's holoforms in the back, directed them to a small house on a large plot of land. There were a lot of dairy cows and a large industrial-like building. "Welcome to our humble abode!"

They got out and approached the house. As Axel opened the door, he called out. "Angel! I'm back!"

"You're early," a familiar voice answered.

"And we have visitors; like, your Mom, best friend, and my old friend."

Angel came around the corner in a hurry. "Mom!" She ran forward, embracing the holoform.

"It's good to see you, Angel."

"And you, Mom."

"What," Sureshot smiled, "no hello for me?"

Angel hugged him. "Happy now?"

"It'll do…"

The woman looked at the third guest with surprise. "Do my eyes deceive me, or is this Knock Out?"

"It's me, and it's good to see you."

"You as well." She turned to her husband. "Axel, can you go check on her?"

"Sure," Axel walked down the hall and into a room.

"Her?"

"What her?"

Angel only smiled as Axel came back around the corner with a baby girl in his arms. "Guys, meet Peace."

They all gaped at the little child, who yawned, opening her deep brown eyes. Remix timidly came forward and slowly petted the girl's soft black hair. "Peace… Peace Richman… oh!" She looked around the little girl's neck. "You two…"

Around the baby's neck hung a necklace, a necklace made from the two halves of her parent's necklaces from high school. It was half the Autobot and half the Decepticon insignia put together as one.

They all looked at the human family. The boy from the Decepticons and the girl from the Autobots… and their daughter, Peace. This was it… this family was what the war was for. So that Autobots and Decepticons could live in peace in a peaceful world…

Them and their legacy…

John 3:20-21

"Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God."
