Ah, hello. Yeah, this is a new chapter, even though I said I wanted to rewrite it. I am still going to rewrite the story, but some of you didn't want the story to stop. As a matter of fact, since I planned to only have a few more chapters, I hope I can finish the story before rewriting it. The new rewrite is going to be a combination of this story, the rewrite I planned and the plan of a sequel someone suggested. I know I should have posted this chapter much, much earlier, but not only did I had to deal with laziness and writer's block, but my new laptop has troubles with creating documents. But even if it's very, very late, I still hope you enjoy this chapter. Oh, and there is an important message at the bottom.

~Lisa's Pov~

I yawn as I wake up in the early morning. I roll out of my blankets and off the couch. I really miss that nice bed…

Complaining won't fill my empty stomach though, so I rub the sleep out of my eyes and walk to the table. Cheeky is busy preparing breakfast. He notices me and laughs.

"Good morning, Princess of the Ugly."

"Good morning too, Duke of Stinkyness." I reply. I'm not in the mood for fights now.

While I am eating a sandwich, I see a tired-looking Shade coming out of the bathroom. He must have stayed up late again to get some information over our next clients. He smiles when he sees me and gives me a quick kiss on my cheek before slumping in the chair beside me. I notice Senior and Chief are still gone.

"Where are the other two?" I ask Cheeky. He sure must know, right?

"Oh, they? Getting in an argument with our new boss. Chief wanted more pay. Senior went with him."

Now I remember the argument from yesterday. Chief and I were furious over the money we would get if we got to a few clients of our new 'boss'. We don't really have a boss; we just do stuff for people who give us money. Just the same what we did before we were separated.

Now, yesterday, our boss said we would get less money than he promised us. Everyone was really angry, but he did offer some nice pay for our job. Still, it wasn't enough for my taste.

"Why couldn't they have woken me up beforehand? I wanted to come too." I whine. Cheeky laughs and points a fork at me.

"Because you would wreck him up for sure. We don't wanna kill him yet, just letting him know how important we are. Besides, the last couple of weeks we can't wake you up before 8 o'clock and Chief wanted to have this done in the early morning, before the shops would go open."

I want to argue with him, but I remain silent. He's right and there is no point denying it. Besides, I hate arguing in the early morning. I groan and take a sip of coffee. I would really go for some beer now.

A while later an angry Chief storms in, followed by Senior. Chief mutters something under his breath before taking a mug of coffee. My mug of coffee to be precise.

"Hey! Get ya hands off my coffee!" I yell at him. Chief looks like he is about to burst out, but puts my coffee back on the table. He sighs and let himself fall down on the couch.

"Fucking asshole…" He mutters. I raise an eyebrow at Senior, hoping he can give an explanation.

"He refused to give us more. We can't really do much about it; he is willing to give us the most money for our job. Can't raise the stakes higher. Fucking douchebag shits on us like it is nothing." He says before falling on the couch too. "So eat your shit up Lisa, and then we can get on the chat with your club before we go off."

"Fine, just give me a fucking minute…"

When I'm done eating, I go to the sink to splash some water on my face in the hope to clean myself a little while the others start up the chat. When I return, the others are around the screen already. I use my butt to shove Senior a bit away.

"Give me some space."

I get a push in return. "No, get lost."

I finally manage to get a good spot and sit before the camera, waving at my friends. Kyoya seems very pale today. And I notice Haruhi is missing.

"Hi guys, how ya doing? Say, where is Haruhi?"

"You won't believe it! My sweet, sweet Haruhi is gone!" Tamaki screams dramatically. The twins sigh.

"Boss, for the last time-""-Haruhi is not dead or missing-""-Just to a trial-""-For her training as lawyer."

"I still can't believe it!"

We all laugh a little, but I am a little concerned about Kyoya. I never knew him that well as the twins, but he is still my friend.

"Hey Kyo-kan, what's up with you? You look a little pale today, if ya know what I mean?" Cheeky asks him before I can. The man in question looks away.

"Just a little tired, nothing more."

Honey leans close into the screen and hold his hand by his cheek, as if he wants to shield his voice from Kyoya.

"He's been like that the whole day. I'm worried Kyo-chan might be sick. He also refused my candy!"

"Mitsukuni, he never accepts your candy." Mori says.

"Maybe he turned into a vampire?" Senior says, softly laughing.

"But that means mommy died! No, mommy cannot be dead!" Tamaki whispers, almost to the edge of crying. "First Haruhi, now mommy!?"

Chief rolls his eyes. "Dude, he was only kidding."

While the others have their conversation, Shade looks carefully at Kyoya, and I look at him.

"He is sick." Shade says soundless against me. I smile and nod, showing I understood him.

"Guys, grab him and bind him down his bed. He's sick as hell." I say. I would pay to see that happen.

The twins immediately grin devilishly and Kyoya glares at me. His dark aura has no effect on me now I'm far away from him. I grin evilly too. Hikaru and Kaoru immediately dive at him and Kyoya tries to wrestle himself out of them. They fall off the screen, and I swear.

"Aww, now I wanted to see that!" I softly whine. Chief immediately slaps me on the back of my head while Cheeky almost falls to the floor of laughing. Seniors grins evilly too, probably

thinking the same thing. Shade shakes his head, but can't hide a smile. Honey and Mori apparently think about who to help, until Honey runs off. By the sound of it, he's probably helping the twins.

"Come on Kyoya-senpai…" "…you know what happens when you're not good."

"I said, I am not sick!"

"But Kyo-chan, your forehead is burning up!"

"That is because of the heath here."

"Everyone knows you're lying…" "…So just be a good boy and go lie on the couch."

"Would you stop dragging me around!?"

This is hilarious.

Finally, Tamaki turns around to face Kyoya, or so I think. They're off-screen, so I can't see them.

"Hey Mori, would you mind turning the camera a bit? I so want to see this." I ask him.

He nods and turns the camera. The twins are holding Kyoya by his arms and legs, lifting him up. His black hair is messed up and his glasses are hanging askew on his nose. Honey is standing by him. Tamaki faces them all. I can't see his face, but I can hear from his voice that he is not amused.

"Kyoya, we all know what happens if someone who is sick acts like this. They get only worse. And I don't want my best friend to stay sick."

His voice reminds me of the time that he protected me from a few jealous girls. He was serious, what surprised me. Until that day, I just saw him as a happy idiot. That day I realized there was more to the eye than it seemed.

"So I suggest that until you're better, the whole host club should take care of you!" He suddenly says in his carefree voice.

"Well, that escalated quickly." Chief comments.

Kyoya looks like hell is after him. Oh boy, this is gonna be great. The twins throw him on the couch and immediately grab a rope to quickly tie him up. When they're done, Tamaki, Honey and Mori come to him, somehow having quickly changed into a doctor's outfit. The devils disappear for the screen for a sec to change into a similar outfit too.

"I'm happy they didn't choose a nurse outfit." Senior says.

"I wish they did." Cheeky pouts. Yeah, I'm not gonna comment to that.

Shade looks at the clock and pokes Chief. He looks up from the screen.

"Oh yeah, we still have to call Sylvia. We should go."

"Hikaru, Kaoru, make sure he gets everything he needs, okay?" I say evilly at them.

"Aw, this was fun. Oh well, we see we can trust you to patch him up again." Senior pouts, playing with his hair. Cheeky smirks and waves his hand.

"Bye. Oh, before I forget, I heard honey-coated strawberries are perfect for medicine. Make sure you use those!"

"Don't worry; we'll make sure mommy will be better in no time!" Tamaki says cheerfully, waving back at us.

"Don't worry Lisa…" "…We will be sure Kyoya-senpai gets the treatment he needs…" My ex-brothers say, holding up an injection needle. I have the feeling they're gonna have a lot of fun…

"Bye bye! Have fun!" Honey-senpai waves at us, his cousin waving too. Kyoya-senpai is the only one who doesn't wave or say goodbye. Instead, he just glares at us. Can't blame him. I was the one who told them to bind him after all. Ah, doesn't matter. He probably won't die in their hands. I think. I hope. He is doomed.

Tamaki turns their computer off and I look at Cheeky.

"Honey-coated strawberries?" I ask him.

"Nah, of course it doesn't work. He hates sweet stuff, remember?"

We all burst out laughing.

"Poor Kyoya." I say laughing.

We close the laptop and call Sylvia.

"Hi guys! I missed you so much!"

"We called you yesterday, you know?" Chief chuckles.

"But that is so long! I really miss you guys, I wish I could see you again. I do understand why I need to stay here, and I love my daddy too…"

Senior takes the phone from Chief.

"We know, it's alright. Shade and I are busy making everything ready to have you on video-chat as well."

"I hope you do well! So what are you guys doing today?"

Chief tries to take the phone back, but Senior quickly passes it to Cheeky.

"Mwah, nothing much. Just had new orders coming in. Think it was something about transporting some drugs to a few clients. We really need to get a new boss."

Once again, Chief tries to take the phone back, but I quickly grab it before he can.

"Yeah, our boss sucks. Aint playing us enough for this. Whatever, we get money, that's good enough."

"Wow, I hope you find a new boss too! I need to go now, see you later!"

Chief finally gets his grip on the cellphone, but Sylvia has already left. We all laugh when we see him pouting and Senior wraps an arm around him.

"We'll speak her again soon. Let's just do our job now."

Chief nods and we all go out.

The clients better be good now…

~Kyoya's Pov~

Ok, my worst nightmare has officially come true. I'm in the hands of the host club, I can't move and Haruhi isn't here to bring some sense into them.

I try to move around, but I just fall from the couch and face-plant on the ground. Again.

"Kyoya-senpai, this is the third time!" "Yeah, can't you keep still on that couch?"

It appears like the twins are annoyed, but I know they're having the most fun they ever had.

"I wouldn't…need to struggle…if I wasn't tied up!" I hiss at them. Dragging me to the department store while I was asleep was already bad enough. This goes way too far.

"But then you would run away and you would only get worse!" Honey says concerned against me.

"I tell you, I can take care of myself. I do not need a babysitter."

And right at that moment, my body decides that it is the perfect time to cough loudly. When my coughing fit is over, I see everyone staring at me like I'm crazy.

"…It seems I am not going to get out of this." Great, just fantastic.

Tamaki claps in his hands, calling the rest to stand around him.

"Alright, what is our plan!?" He asks them.

"Cheeky said to give him honey-coated strawberries." Honey immediately says.

"I heard you need to put a rag with cold water on his forehead." The twins say.

Tamaki put his fist in his hand before pointing into the sky.

"We will use all of these tactics to make mommy better! Operation: Cure Mommy has started!"

I do not like the sound of that…

~Chief's Pov~

"So, are you paying or not?" I say to a girl in skimpy cloths. Small top, miniskirt; absolute a prostitute. And a drug addict too.

"O-Of course I'm gonna pay. I just need a little more time…I don't have all the money yet."

I groan. It's always the same with those junkies. They get addicted without realizing the consequences, loan money to get those drugs and when they need to pay up, they suddenly don't have the money yet. I get a headache of it.

My teammates don't cope too well with it either. Senior rolls his eyes and swears silently. Cheeky is groaning too and nagging about going home and wanting to smoke. Shade facepalms in annoyance. Lisa seems to handle it the worst, as I can see her twirling her new knife around and glaring at her, ready to put the knife against this slut's throat. Luckily, Senior steps up before she can do that.

"It's already been six weeks, according to what he said. You promised to have the money then. So he can't give you more until you pay up."

"Y-you can't do that!"

"You're right. We can't do that. But the boss can. After all, we just bring you this message and transport the money. We have no other connections to this."

"No! I still have a week. Seven weeks was the deal! I'm sure of it! J-just give me one more week…"

And apparently, that's it for Lisa. She grabs the knife tightly and grabs with her free hand the girl's throat. "That is a load of bullshit and you know it. I don't have fucking time for this so give up all the money you have before I steal something else from you. For my part you get hungry but I want my payment and I'm not leaving without it!"

Shade grabs her arm but Lisa ignores him. Senior sneaks to the back and listens if someone comes. Cheeky just grins and lits up a cigarette. I look at the scene, trying to decide what now to do. Then I push Lisa away and snatch Cheeky's cigarette away from him. Both protest and I ignore them. I push the lit end of the cigarette against the girl's arm. She screams in pain and I lean closer to her to whisper in her ear.

"This is a warning. If you do such a thing again, I promise that things won't end so peacefully."

She gasps and I move away. I give the cigarette back to Cheeky, who swears and throws it on the ground. Lisa is angrily standing on the side, glaring at the girl while playing with her knife.

"Alright guys, take the money she has. Hold her upside down for all I care. I want my money."

Cheeky and Shade nod and grab the girl by her arms while Lisa searches her for money. Sure, we might be criminals, but we have standards. No perverted stuff unless we get paid for it or if it absolutely necessary.

Lisa quickly takes out money from the girl's pockets and other places. Cheeky hisses her to hurry up while Senior stands guard. Suddenly, he moves back.

"Shit. Police is coming. We need to go."

"We take her with us. She can't pay in prison. Let's move." I command and the rests nods. The girl looks scared at us, but we pay no attention to her.

We quickly climb up the roof, dragging the girl with us. Lisa stands close to her, ready to hurt her if needed. In a few moments, the alleyway is empty. We move over the roof a bit and once climb up to another roof. We are silent, hoping for the police to go away. Finally, the sirens go away and we sight. We let the girl down, telling her to pay the rest of the money next week before we run over the roofs to a place further away from her and the alleyway.

Finally, we can rest and climb down to the ground.

"We don't get paid enough for this shit." Lisa mutters. Shade throws an arm around her and gets a small kiss in return. I sigh and look away. It's not like I don't approve of their relationship, I just think it's unnecessary. What's wrong with just being friends? I don't think I will ever understand love.

Cheeky throws up his hands.

"And another day of shit. How nice!" He exclaims. I laugh and put my hands in my pockets.

"Let's just deliver this money and go home. Fuck that guy, let's look for another boss."

And so we walk down the street like a crazy group of friends. Senior and I are talking about today and laugh at whatever Cheeky does. The dude in question is just running around, making jokes. Lisa comments on those jokes and sometimes playfully fights with him, all while being romantic with Shade at the same time.

Suddenly, Shade walks next to me. I raise my eyebrow to ask what's going on.

"She just wanted to look at something. She'll catch up soon." I lip-read.

And yes, a few minutes later we hear Lisa talking again. I take this chance to chat with Shade about getting a new boss.

"…so, could you be able to contact that other man? You know; the one who we first had in mind but then swapped for that asshole? I want to know if he is still interested in our service."

He nods but then stops. I frown and stop too, wanting to know what's going on.

"Why are you stopping? Has the ogre done something bad again?" Cheeky jokes. However, it keeps silent. Senior catches on.

"She doesn't respond. She always responds."

"It's…too quiet…" I say.

At that moment, Senior, Shade and I turn around to see Lisa not following us.

Cheeky runs to us.

"She got away! We need to catch her!" He yells.

Then we all storm down the road, looking for her.

Why can't life be easy for once...?

~Tamaki's Pov~

The next few hours we spend taking care of our precious mommy. I left the preparation of the 'special medicine of Cheeky' in Honey's hands, while the twins and I rush back and forth coming up with the latest techniques to make Kyoya's treatment faster and smoother. From chicken soup to Chinese needle therapies. With these medical 'commoners' stuff, our precious Kyoya will be better in no time!

After I put another pillow on the pile of pillows Kyoya is kept warm with, creating a small hill, I decide to see how Honey's doing. I almost dance to the kitchen and peek inside.

"Hello Honey-senpai, how are the honey-coated strawberries going?" Honey looks at me, happy to be of help, while his cousin is standing next to him, holding him up so he can reach the -.

"Great! I'm almost done! But, eh, I might have eaten a few ones…" He ends in shame. I chuckle. "As long as there're enough left, its fine. Don't try to eat more though, we need them."

He nods and I leave him and Mori-senpai alone.

One of the twins, Kaoru I think, is sitting next to Kyoya, looking slightly worried while taking the piece of cloth of the sick man's face and putting it in cold water. After messing around with it a bit, he puts it back on Kyoya's head. Ice-cold water flows over his face and he shivers. Pitying him, I take Kaoru's place and sit down next to him. The one half of the devilish pair runs off to join his brother in searching for information on the Internet. I ignore him and look at Kyoya.

In the past few hours, his condition had worsened. He was having a big fever right now and he can't do anything but sleep. Oh, except for puking. It was really gross, but we still helped him out with it. The bucket is next to the couch, just swapped with another one, but it's already containing some yellow-orange stuff, water and a little bit of stomach contents. Each of us has tried to feed him something at some point, but he kept vomiting it out. I still didn't give up. I am afraid he will starve if I don't keep giving him something. I'm also afraid of giving him medicine. What if I would give him the wrong medicine? I heard stories about people getting messed up after using the wrong medicine. And what if I overdose him?! People die from that!

So obviously, giving him medicine was out of the question, no matter how much he begged for it.

Speaking of that, it is strange to see his personality change during his sickness. In the beginning, he was just like his normal self. He hissed at us, threatened to use his dark aura on us, tried to convince us to let him go by reasoning and glared the whole time at us. Then he started trying to escape. I was surprised the first time he tried to do that. He tricked us into leaving him alone for a while so he could crawl away. Luckily Mori went back in time to prevent him from accidentally falling off the stairs.

Kyoya was never this reckless. So you could imagine the look on my face when Mori had caught him and was holding him tightly. His reaction to this was also completely strange. He was yelling and screaming, trying to kick him. That moment, I just stood there. Unable to do anything. Unable to say anything. He quickly stopped though. He either must have felt ashamed, or his condition had already worsened that time, but he went completely red and just kept apologizing to us. Not much later he fainted. We quietly brought him back to Music Room 3#, deciding to become even more serious and promised to make him feel better. We did free him from his bounds though, since he was already too weak to escape. Kyoya himself seemed to realize it too, as he didn't try to escape after that anymore.

But I am worried. I remembered the time I was sick. I was little, so I don't remember how I got cured, but I do know how it felt. Terrible. You just wish to spend every day in your whole life working or going to school, to have every bad thing coming at you, just to never feel like that again. That's why I never understood why people would try to pretend they're sick in order to not go to school or to work. Why would you try to act out something so horrible in order to avoid something like school? Sure, it's boring, but that's still no reason to pretend something that bad! Maybe it's more like I hate people who wish to be sick, just to not have to go to school. If you have ever been that sick, you will wish it never happens again!

Kyoya groaned once again and I smile a bit.

"Don't worry Kyoya, everything's alright. I'm here, right? Do you want anything? I could read you a story if you would like. Something to drink perhaps? Honey's almost done with Cheeky's tip."

Kyoya lifts his head towards me. I can see he hates being this sick, but there is something else I just can't figure out.

"…Thirsty…tired…no food…no sugar…gotta-" he can't finish his sentence, as he suddenly makes weird, vomiting noises. I waste no time and quickly grab the bucket, holding it near him. Nothing comes out of him though, only the yellow-orange stuff. He coughs and keeps making weird noises. I can see he can barely breathe and he has tears in his eyes.

"Calm down Kyoya! Everything is alright. See, there is no vomit! Nothing is going to happen to you, so calm down and try to breathe a bit."

The twins rush towards us to help out, but Kyoya is already calming down a little. Enough to let him breathe normal again. I help him lay down nicely on the make-shift bed again. There are still tears in his eyes. Hikaru and Kaoru don't make any comment about it, much to my surprise. I have the feeling they're going to tease him with him though as soon as he recovered. A small coughing fit lets me concentrate on Kyoya again.

"So…" "…What shall we do boss?"

They don't say anything more, but I can hear the concerns and hesitation in their voices. I realize we can only do one more thing.

"Try to call Haruhi. She might know more about this than us." I order them.

The twins nod and walk off. Honey-senpai races down to me, a silver plate in his hands. On the plate are honey-coated strawberries. I smile brightly.

"Thank god, the only medicine we can relay on. Cheeky said it works perfectly, so it must be true!"

Honey-senpai and I try to feed Kyoya the strawberries, but he isn't really working with us. He keeps turning his head away from us and keeps his mouth shut, looking at the strawberries in fear. When the twins return to say that Haruhi will be coming down as fast as possible, they are glad to help.

Finally, we are able to stuff the strawberries in his mouth. Making him swallow it was another task, but we finally done it. I jumped in the air in pride.

"Hurray! Now mommy will be better soon!" I exclaim relieved. The twins blow on horns and throw confetti everywhere. Honey cheers loudly too.

Our prideful moment is completely washed down when Kyoya starts to gag. Mori is just in time to hand him the bucket. We all stare in despair at him.

"I hope Haru-chan comes soon…" Honey-senpai slowly says.

~Lisa Pov~

I was walking down the streets with the other Shadow Roses, just behind after I caught up. I thought I had seen a couple of combat knives in a shop, but it turned out to be letter openers. But when I was behind Shade, commenting on Cheeky's jokes, a couple of men passed us.

And that's when I saw it. One brown eye, looking at me. The other closed by a scar.

I immediately stopped. I recognized these eyes. Memories, so many memories flowed my mind. Bad, but helpful memories.

I recognized the killer of my parents.

I broke out of my trance and turned around, staring at the man. Brown hair, like my father. On his neck I could make out a green tattoo. He was wearing dirty, ripped cloths. A gang member, just like me.

And now I am in a big, abounded building, hiding behind a group of fallen pieces of the ceiling. I probably have followed the man.

I peak once more from my hiding place, careful not to be seen. They seem to talk about something. Something about a transport. Perhaps I should get closer…

"What are you doing!?" A voice calls out to me. It's soft, but still hard enough to let me almost jump in the air of surprise. I turn around quickly. Chief is sitting before me, looking very angry. The rest are behind him, glaring at me as well.

very angry. The rest are behind him, glaring at me as well.

"Silence! Or they'll hear us!" I hiss at them. I quickly look if the men heard us. They're still at the same spot, so I can assume everything is safe.

"Explain." Senior demands.

"I recognized one of them. The one with only one brown eye is the killer of my parents. So I followed him. I first wanted to get revenge, but he seems to be in a gang. They're talking about a transport."

Chief narrows his eyes and looks at the men. Shade peeks too, but quickly retreats. Cheeky is the only one who doesn't dare peaking.

"We should get closer, but be careful." Chief finally says.

"Hold your gun ready." Senior advices.

I hold my gun ready and quickly move to another spot of the room, behind a group of barrels. I look around to see the boys do the same. Except for Shade, who instead stays where he is. I carefully look at the men, especially at their tattoos. A green skull with goat horns. The Green Devils. A gang specialized in causing riots with the hobby of destroying other gangs and fighting against authorities. I thought they were only active in East-Europe, but it seems they have spread their playground.

"Where the fuck is Grease? She should have got here ten minutes ago!"

"Calm down Knife, I just got a message she was hold up. Someone told the police of a prostitute being spot. No biggie."

I smile by the mention of that whore. The guys called her, letting her think they were clients. Said they promised some big money if she could do a gang bang. And if she could get to the place within ten minutes. That of course, was all just to lure her to us before she could get a different client.

"Boss, I-" "Not now Fryer, not now." "But Boss, I need to-" "I SAID NOT NOW!"

The boss is a tall man with a few fingers missing, Fryer is the murderer, I notice. I have to grit my teeth in order to not shout at him. I'm gonna kill them, I'm gonna kill them all! I rip out their bones and stab them until there is nothing left to stab!

Luckily, the truck arrives before I burst out of my hiding place in anger. A girl with red hair and a cigarette in her mouth drives the thing in the building, just a few meters away from where I am. I hold both my gun and my knife ready, I case I may need them.

"Finally, you're here. Now, load out the stuff." Boss tells the other Devils. They nod and open the truck. I soon find out what they're transporting. Weapons. A shitload of weapons. I position myself again and narrow my eyes.

What are they up to? Are they planning to take over America again?

The Boss calls another member of his gang.

"So, tell me, who do we have to eliminate?"

"Not many in this area Boss. We have the Chrystalls, the Executioners and the Skullz. That's all."

I recognize these names. Those are the names of other gangs in this area. Then, are they plotting to kill other gangs?

"I heard a rumor the Shadow Roses are back and in this area." The Boss says, eyeing his underling, who laughs it away.

"Probably copycats. You sure must have heard what happened to them. No one would be so crazy enough to come back from all of those countries."

Wait, they know what happened to us? Something is going on here…

Then, Fryer comes up to the Boss, who looks satisfied. The disgusting murderer taps him on the shoulder.

"Boss…I-I have to tell you something…"

"Ugh, can't you leave me alone?"

"B-but Boss…"

"Fine, what is it?" The man says irritated.

"When I came back, I saw the girl. You know, who gave me the scar after I killed Miranda and Dane on your orders."

I freeze. He ordered them to kill them? Why? I don't get what he is saying. What connection did my parents have with them?

I want to know more, so I try to move closer to them. Not my bad idea. I forget to look where I'm going and I accidentally topple over a couple of empty cans.

Immediately, all of the Devils turn to the sound. I freeze in my place. Someone is walking to me. Could it be Fryer? Then another thought gets my mind. If he comes here, I can kill him. I can finally get revenge.

The moment I think that, I feel myself slipping out of my body. What!? NO! I don't want someone else to do this! I don't want Liller to do this! Liller, stop!"

But how much I cry, how much I try to hold onto my body, I doesn't work. I see how my hair gets darker, how my eyes get lighter. Liller grips her gun tightly.

"Liller! Don't do this!"

"…"

"Please, I want to deal with this myself! I don't want anyone else to take revenge!"

"I'm sorry Lisa, but there is nothing I can do about it."

Her thoughts fall as a bomb to me. I can't speak. I can't do anything. Just…watch…

The footsteps come closer. Just as I think they are just coming around the corner, another sound rings through the place. One of my gang must have realized what was going on, and must have made that sound to distract them. Or maybe they messed up too. I don't know.

Fryer walks past us, towards the other sound. I-no, Liller can shoot him now. It's perfect. She raises her gun and aims for his back. She concentrates. Slowly but steady, she pulls the trigger…

BANG!

I look up in confusion. That shot didn't come from Liller. A member of the Green Devils lays a few feet away from us, his hand clasped around a gun. Behind him stands Senior, holding a smoking gun. I don't get what is going on, but Liller doesn't seem to care. Fryer turns around and sees us. Liller shoots at him, but now he knows the attack and jumps behind a barrel.

I swear as Liller aims the gun again, but this time not at Fryer. She shoots another Devil who is trying to shoot Senior. The other Devils and the rest of the Shadow Roses join the fight too. The chaos is complete. Liller fights hard, but she is running out of bullets.

"Retreat!" Chief yells and we storm away, out of the building, on the streets. We finally stand still when we think we're far enough. There I take over again. I am furious. At Liller for trying to steal my revenge. At Senior for ruining said revenge. I walk up to him and slap him hard across the face. Or at least I try to. He grabs my hand and throws me over his back.

"What the actual fuck did you think you were doing!?" I scream at him. "If it wasn't for you, I would have gotten my revenge!"

"If it wasn't for Senior, YOU WOULD HAVE DIED THERE! HE TRIED TO PROTECT YOU!" Chief yells at me, red with fury.

I now realize what happened there. That member must have seen Liller and tried to kill her. Senior shot him to prevent that. If it weren't for him, I would have died.

I can't say anything. Senior drops me to the ground. I glare at him, but remain silent. I'm crazy with guilt and anger. I could have killed him there. And yet, it failed. I barely notice how Shade helps me from the ground. He is a little angry, but he is more relieved I'm okay. Chief is still mad at me, and that continues while we walk home. Cheeky tries to lift the mood with a few jokes, but it fails.

Even when we arrive at our home, I still am at loss for words. I stumble to my couch and bury myself in the blankets. For some reason, I feel like crying. I can't do anything about it; the tears just come. I try to hide it, but I'm pretty sure everyone can hear it.

"No Shade. She deserves this. She must learn that she can't always have things her way."

Chief's voice silences me for a moment. Shade must have tried to sit next to me to comfort me. For once, I can't think of a witty response and I burst out in tears again.

"What a shitty day."

I can't agree more, Cheeky.

~Haruhi's Pov~

"What the hell are you guys doing?"

That was the first question I had once I step inside Music Room 3#. The whole place is chaotic. Food and water is everywhere, there is a bucket full of stomach contents spilled on the floor and everything is messy. The guys are running around, panicking. Then they notice me and run up to me.

"Haru-chan! You're here!"

I sigh as I recall what happened that day. In order to get some real-life experience for my training as lawyer, I was invited to a trial for a burglar. I had turned off my phone. I thought the boys could handle themselves. Tamaki-senpai would miss me of course, but nothing

serious. But when I turned my phone on again after the trial to tell my father I would be coming home soon, I was surprised to see a lot of missed calls. Hikaru had sent me a text saying: Kyoya-senpai is sick. Please come help us!

Seeing I was still tied to them by that debt, I sent my father a text I would be a little late and went back to school.

And now here I am, having four teenagers around me, crying like little children. My attention is drawn to the couch though. A little mountain of pillows covers the whole thing and I walk over to it. One by one, I remove the pillows to find Kyoya-senpai lying there. He is pale with rosy cheeks and he seems to be sweating. I smile and remove the pillows on him.

"So here is the little patient." I tease him with a smile. He opens his eyes and I can see the relief in them. The blankets are a little down, and I see he still has his uniform on. I'm not sure if that's comfortable.

"How are you feeling?"

"…Horrible…"

"Yeah, you must be. Don't worry; I'll help you. I'll first get you some water. You must be thirsty."

The guys behind me are incredible. They don't even make one sound. This can be helpful.

"Mori-senpai, can you bring me a glass of water?"

He nods and runs away. I look to the side of the couch at the salon table. There is a small bowl with some water and a towel in it. I dip my finger in it and frown. The water is warm.

"Hikaru, can you change the water in the bowl?" I ask before I realize it. Hikaru follows my order though and runs away with the bowl.

Mori-senpai comes back with the water. I take it from him an offer it to Kyoya, who immediately takes it and starts to gulp it down.

"Careful Kyoya-senpai, you're spilling it all over the couch." I chuckle while I take the glass from his hands. He coughs a couple of times in response. I giggle and use my handkerchief to clean his face of the water. I had no idea Kyoya-senpai could be as cute as a little boy.

When Hikaru comes back with the water, I place it on the table and dip a piece of cloth in it. As I'm wrenching it out, Honey-senpai steps in.

"Why do you do that?"

"Because otherwise the water will go everywhere. This cloth has enough water now."

I carefully place it on Kyoya-senpai's head. After I ask Kaoru to stand watch, I grab the bucket to clean it. The smell is horrible, but I try to keep my own lunch in my stomach. The host club follows my every step, like little puppies. If I weren't so busy making everything comfortable for Kyoya-senpai, I would have found it endearing.

After I have cleaned the bucket, I place it near the couch. Then I turn to Tamaki-senpai.

"Tamaki-senpai, do happen to have some Kool-Aid? It might help his stomach."

To my surprise, Tamaki doesn't burst out in happiness or becomes dramatic, but just stays there on one spot, shifting uncomfortably from one foot to another.

"We might have…but I'm not sure if it's a good idea…"

"Why?"

"I don't want to end up giving him the wrong medicine and making things worse…"

I'm not sure what to say. This is one of those moments he shows he really cares for others.

"Don't worry Tamaki-senpai, you can trust me."

He looks at me, sighs and then goes to find the medicine. He returns shortly after with the Kool-Aid. I give Kyoya-senpai some. He resists a bit, but he is too weak to do keep the struggle up for long. I sit next to him.

"Now you only need to go to sleep. And when you wake, everything will be fine."

Without realizing, I had recited the words my mom said to me when I was sick. When I realize what I said, memories of my mom flow into my mind. I honestly want to cry, but I stand strong. I can't let a memory cloud my future. I need to be strong, so I can care for others.

The rest of the day goes rather well. Tamaki calls Kyoya's driver to pick him up. Kyoya only wakes up twice to go to the toilet and to drink something. Soon we reach the appointed time to chat with the Shadow Roses. After Kyoya's staff has picked him up, we turn on the laptop.

Shade opens the chat again. He smiles, but it isn't very natural and he keeps looking to his left. Senior comes in then.

"Hello guys, it's nice to see you again. I suppose Kyoya is alright?"

"Yeah, he is alright. At least, now he is…" I say the last bit while glaring at the other. How could they even think honey coated strawberries would work!?

Chief comes in too, with a pained smile.

"By us is everything alright too. Had some trouble with another gang, but other than that, everything is fine."

Then Cheeky rushes in.

"Can't stay for long. Need to watch the food. Lisa has an eating obsession now. Must be her period. Or today's events. Dunno. We really need to get a different time for this. LISA, GET OUT OF THERE!"

He leaves as soon as he came in.

Hikaru raises an eyebrow.

"Today's events?" He asks. Chief sighs.

"She's bummed about the fact she wasn't able to kill her parents' murderer today."

We look shocked at him. She found her murderer and tried to kill him? Chief sees our faces and sighs again.

"We were just walking down the street when she saw the bastard and decided to follow him. Turns out he was part of a gang too. The same gang who is apparently planning to get rid of all the gangs around here. If it weren't for Senior, she would have been killed right there."

I don't know what to say anymore. It sounds really serious, but I have no idea what it will mean for them now. An awkward silence hangs in the air, until Shade taps Senior's shoulder. Senior turns to him and Shade tries to say something. Senior nods and turns to us again.

"I think we should go now. Shade, Chief and I need to discuss what we're going to do now."

"Will Lisa be okay?" Kaoru asks him.

"Sure; she is tougher than you think. She just needs time now." Chief answers, but I still don't feel reassured. Nevertheless, Chief and Senior tell us goodbye before shutting their computer off. As I stare at the black screen, I can't help but feel worried.

Will they really be ok?

So, what did you think? Nice plot twist or not? Hehe, I love torturing poor Kyoya. However, this is where the problem starts. I'm already out of ideas for the host club part. I came up with this Kyoya-is-sick side plot a long time ago, but now I have no idea what to do now. So now I want your guys help! What do you think should happen to the host club next? Send me any kind of suggestions. Story plot, dialogue, character (I'm not planning to make a SYOC, but I might accept a character. Don't expect me to flawlessly play him or her) or anything else.

Thank you for reading this. See you next time, bye~
