Caroline arrived at the Mikaelson's villa. Without further ado she approached the entrance and knocked on the door, waiting for someone to open the door.
To her luck it was Klaus who welcomed her indoors. Once she was upstairs in his room, she said bluntly, "Time to give me your blood!"
Klaus arched an eyebrow, looking curiously at her before he chuckled. "Calm down, darling. You will get my blood, but first how are you doing?"

The blonde sat down on the couch and sighed softly. "I'm fine, so the little monster inside me."

At the reference of their baby, he glared at her. "You won't call our son a monster!"

Caroline gasped, blinking a few times before clearing throat. "A boy? No way! I want a girl, a sweet little girl wearing a pink tutu!"
She smiled widely at the thought of a baby girl.

The hybrid rolled his eyes and stated. "It's not going to be a little girl."

She groaned in annoyance. "Maybe it's both. Who knows? The most important part is that he or she is healthy."

With a huff, he agreed. "Fine, you're right. I suppose his or her health is the core."

"Good. Now to our business." Caroline smirked, crossing her arms.

"Business? You refer to helping our child as business?" He questioned, teasing her lightly with that smug smirk.

She looked sheepishly down for a moment before catching his gaze. "Perhaps, I shouldn't call it like that. I will come up with something else. Anyhow, do I get your blood now or not?"

Klaus snickered and nodded his head. "Yes, love. You'll get your blood now."

Approaching her, he sat beside her on the couch and in the next minute he was biting his wrist, offering his blood.
Caroline grabbed his hand and pulled his wrist close to her mouth before she began to suck his blood slowly. His blood was a delight; an explosion of beautiful flavors. When he thought she had enough, he gently released his arm from her grip.

The blonde vampire grumbled, glaring at the other blond. She had wanted to drink more from his delicious blood, but it was for the best not to have a lot of Klaus inside her.

Smiling softly, she returned, "Thank you."

"No, problem." He flashed a gentle smile.

"Well, then, I think I should go now."
She stood up, as well as he did.

"Leaving so soon?" He asked, the disappointment clear in his voice.

"Yes. I need to talk with my mom about this. It's Saturday and she has free time." Caroline declared. Today she would confess to her mother her pregnancy.

"Alright, I understand. I hope it will go well."

"I hope that too." She agreed and flashed a bright smile at Klaus. He returned her brilliant smile and accompanied her to the door. Additionally, he suggested her to let him drive her home, but she refused it, instead she walked home.

Once she was inside her house, she looked after her mother who she found in the kitchen, sitting at the table with a coffee mug in her hands.

"Hey," she exclaimed.
"Hello, Caroline. Where have you been? Come and sit next to me." Liz demanded, smiling warmly at her daughter.

Caroline followed her mother's order and sat beside her, taking seat on a chair.

Once she was sitting, she didn't waste time to answer her mom's question.

"I was at the Mikaelson's mansion."

"Why were you there?" Mrs. Forbes narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

Caroline didn't respond her question instead she declared, "I have to tell you something."

Liz nodded, signaling her to continue.
The young woman didn't really know how to approach the topic, so she just blurted out, "I'm pregnant."

"What? Say that again!"

"I am pregnant." She emphasized.

Her mother blinked a few times before she went on.

"You're pregnant. But how is that possible? And who's the father of the child?"
The older woman questioned her daughter, looking confused at her.

Caroline sighed deeply, looking sadly at her mother.
"I don't know exactly how it's possible. The father is...Klaus. I guess since he's a hybrid it's possible. I'm his 'mate' now, he chose me. I'm sorry mom."

Mrs. Forbes looked in disbelief at her daughter for a moment, until she noticed her sad expression. Her own features softened and she presented a small smile while her hands reached for Caroline's.
At the reaction of their clasped hands, Caroline returned her mother's smile,

"Listen, Caroline. I don't know how you and Klaus hooked up and I don't need to know that, but you should know that I'm here for you to support you. I will be by your side through your pregnancy. I guess it won't be like a normal one." She told her daughter.

Tears threatened to leave Caroline's eyes as she heard her mother's promise. She was going to support her, Caroline couldn't be any happier.

"Oh, mom, thank you! Thanks for understanding and supporting me. I love you so much. You're the best mom ever!" She exclaimed and got up to hug her mom from behind, kissing her cheek and making her chuckle softly.

"I love you too, my baby. I would never abandon you, Caroline. You're all I have." Liz turned her head around to face Caroline.

Her daughter smiled happily. "And soon you'll have another girl to love."

The elder lady laughed. "You want a girl like you."

"Yes, that's what I want. Perhaps I will get you a niece. Cross fingers." She giggled cheerily.

"I will. We'll see how the baby will turn out."

"We will." Caroline kissed again her mother's cheek before letting go of her, backing away slightly.

She cleared her throat to announce. "I'll go to my room now. See you later."

After they said goodbye, age went upstairs. Once she was in her room, she caught sight of her mobile and took it from the nightstand. There was a missed call and message from Tyler. Tyler?

These weeks she hadn't thought much about him. It was a surprise to hear something from him.
Without hesitation, she opened the message, reading that he would come back in a few days to see her again. He was missing her.

Caroline snorted disdainfully. "Oh, now you're missing me, but not before I got pregnant. Perfect timing."

Sighing, she put her phone away and lay down on her bed. As she was lying in bed, her mobile rang suddenly.
Grabbing her phone, she recognized the caller, Bonnie, and picked up the phone.
She greeted Bonnie and asked her how she was doing. Her best friend returned her question and both girls received the usual answers: 'good' and 'fine'
Next Bonnie was asking her if she talked with her mom about the pregnancy.

"Yes, I did today. It went well."

"See, I told you so."

Caroline laughed brightly. "I'm so happy. But..." She sighed softly.

"What's wrong?" Bonnie asked concerned.

"It's Tyler. He called and texted me today, saying he's missing me and will come back in a few days to see me. What shall I do now?" She asked helplessly.

"Stay calm and don't say anything if he hasn't noticed you're pregnant. If he has, then you can tell him."

Another sigh left her throat. "Alright, Bon. I will follow your suggestion. I hope it won't get ugly."

Then Bonnie was trying to cheer her up by distracting her with other topics as college that was coming soon to them. Gradually, the conversation found an end and both girls hung up their phones.

Caroline closed her eyes and tried to rest for a while. Today she had made success with her mom. Now only Elena and Stefan were left to fill in, but also Tyler. This wasn't going to be easy, yet somehow she would handle the situation.

"Yes, I can." She murmured in slumber and smiled faintly.
