"While Chase taught you about your power over the shadows and the best way to fight," Kimiko said while getting into the meditative pose, "He could not teach you about your power you received from me." Getting into a similar pose as her mother, Shadow looked around at the wolves that formed a circle around them. Varied colors from red to black to blue and even green covered the wolves from head to toe.

"And what, pray tell, is the power I got from you?" She asked when she looked back to her mother. "Chase only told me about the fire that you could weild."

"True, I could only wield fire," Kimiko agreed with a nod of her head, "Before I won the showdown between Chase and myself, at least. The wu that we were fighting for was called God's Power and once I beat your father, the wu lit up and shot itself straight into my body."

"It shot into you? Why?"

"Even I don't know why, but it melded with me and became apart of who I am. I can now control all of the elements." Shadow watched as orbs appeared around Kimiko, each one being made up of the different elements in the world. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, Thunder, Iron, Wood, Light, Darkness, and many more started to rotate around her form. They swayed in harmony with each other and as Shadow was about to be mesmerized by the enchanting show, a few orbs flew over and circled around her own form.

"These four orbs are representation of the powers you gained from me." Kimiko stated as her daughter looks at them in wonder. "Darkness, Ice, Thunder, and Light are the elements that I shall train you to use. Soon, you will be using them as naturally as you breath. Luckily, though, Darkness shouldn't take too much time to master. After all, the power you inherited from Chase is a branch of the main element itself!"

Eager to start training as soon as possible, Shadow asked her mother when it would begin. Laughing, she was told that for the first few weeks, she would need to meditate in order to get acquainted with her powers. She didn't know what Kimiko had meant so she was given an example. Kimiko raised her hand to some nearby wood and willed a fire to come to life, from there it changed from red to green, the very same green that warned her of the danger so many years ago.

"Shadow, this is my friend Li," Kimiko introduced, "Li is one of the fire elements that helped me train in the belly of the Xiaolin Temple when I was still a monk there. There are many others that helped me, but before I even knew about them, I only grasped the surface of what my power could do."

"Very true, you were struggling to keep up with the other monks in the temple. It was lucky that you heard Shao's voice and was lead to the underground chamber." Kimiko smiled at Li and turned back to Shadow.

"Once you've become familiar with your powers and elements, you can hear their voices and listen to what they have to say. The elements are as old as Time itself and can teach you many things. It only takes a willing mind and a strong resolve to get through the training you will receive. Ping," she gestures over to the young monk that was winning his match against the two red wolves, "has meditated every night since her first got here in order to hear the voices of the Wood. Once he did, his strength shot up and he grew very quickly. Even as he is now, he could take on the three Xiaolin Monks by himself and win."

Nodding her head, Shadow straightened her spine and looked her mother dead in the eye. Her resolve shining in her bright blue-green eyes. Kimiko smiled with affection as she watched her daughter close her eyes to meditate.

'It's good to have her home.'
