Author's note: I'M SO SORRY FOR THE DELAYYYY! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR STILL READING THIS! To be honest, I was planning to stop writing this, because looking back, my writing was very very shameful (not that it isn't now, but…) but I re-read your reviews and I just love you guys so much! And I don't know if everyone knows this already (because there might be some anime-only readers out there) but KnB has ended. Still, I really hope everyone will still stay with the fandom. Pls stay. I love you guys!

The four of them arrived at Kuroko's house right before the sun was about to set. While Kuroko was digging his bag for the keys, Momoi and Kagami fidgeted like they were facing a dire test. Akashi just stood on the sideline and watched them with amusement (a fidgeting Kuroko were a lovely sight, mind you).

The tallest of them, who was Kuroko now, plucked the key in and twisted it. As soon as all of them got in the house, he called out.

"I'm home." Kuroko spoke in a normal volume, but Kagami's voice was naturally loud, so it came out more like a growl. A loud growl.

"Welcome home, Tetsuya-kun." Said a voice equally monotonous to Kuroko's.

Everyone jumped. And by everyone, I mean Kagami and Momoi. (Again, Kuroko's surprise face was a wonder.)

"Tetsuya-kun, you grew. And you changed your hair. How nice." The one who scared them earlier, a man, said.

"Excuse me dad, but I don't find that funny."

"I see you kept your low toleration for humor."

"It's your jokes that aren't funny." Kuroko replied, stoic as always.

The man smiled a little, and then he turned to the group behind Kuroko.

"Nice to meet you," he bowed, "my name is Kuroko Takeshi. Thank you for always taking care of my son."

"Not at all, it was Tetsuya who has been taking care of us." Akashi bowed back.

There was a glint in Takeshi's eyes, Akashi noticed, but it seemed like he was the only one who did.

"You are… Akashi-kun, am I right?" Takeshi asked.

"Yes, I am. May I question how you know that though?" Akashi replied.

"Tesuya-kun sometimes talks about his friends to us. And… never mind," he smiled. Then he turned to Momoi and Kagami.

"You must be Momoi-san," he said, half-smiling.

"Ah! Yes, I am. It's nice to meet you!" she abruptly bowed ninety degrees, making the man chuckle. 'Ahh, what should I do?! He's Tetsu-kun's father! Uwah, I'm so nervous!'

"And you are Kagami-kun?" he said to Kagami, who was in his son's body right now.

"Yes, I'm Kagami Taiga! It's nice to meet you!" Kagami half-yelled, mirroring Momoi's action. The older Kuroko chuckled again.

Takeshi led them to the living room. Only with the men's back facing them can Momoi and Kagami breath. Now that her blood stopped flowing to her face and actually flow to her brain, Momoi could finally observe him. He was tall, not as tall as Kagami, but he's just a little shorter, probably about one meter and 80 centimeters. He was handsome, or at least, that's how Momoi thought he was, because she was not brave enough to look straight at her want-to-be boyfriend's father. His hair was black, sleek, and shiny. It was nothing like Kuroko's fluffy mass of powder blue. In fact, nothing about the man was similar to Kuroko, sans his weak presence. 'He must have taken after his mom', Momoi thought. And guess what, as always, she was right.

As soon as they were sit on the sofa, a woman came into the room holding a tray of sweets. She looked like a female version of Kuroko, so it wasn't hard to guess who she was. She set the tray onto the glass table and smiled at them when she straightened up.

"It's nice to meet you," she bowed, "my name is Kuroko Kihara, Tetsuya's mother. Thank you for always taking care of my son."

Kagami and Momoi shot right up, but Akashi was the first one to spoke up.

"It's nice to meet you too, Kuroko-san. My name is-"

"Akashi Seijuro," Kihara cut him off. She was smiling at him. "You look just like him," she sighed, "your manner is the same too."

"Pardon me?" Akashi said. That was… confusing.

"Your father was a friend of ours." She said simply, but her eyes looked sad.

"I see. What a pleasantly small world we're living in," he replied casually. He would dwell on this later, because he never knew his dad had "friends".

"Well then," she looked at the other three, her eyes landed on the person who looked like her son, "you must be 'Kagami-kun'."

"Hai! Nice to meet you!" Aaaand he was still nervous. Kihara giggled in response. Even if she was his mother, Kihara never actually heard Kuroko raised his voice over small things like that.

She glanced at Kuroko. "Tetsuya-kun, lucky you. You got to switch body with such a handsome boy."

"You can try it if you want mom," Kuroko dryly replied.

"I would if I could," Kihara said, her serious tone worried the others, especially Kuroko and Takeshi.

She turned to Momoi. "You are…uhm, Momoi Satsuki, right?"

"Ah, yes, I am. It's nice to meet you Kuroko-san." She frantically bowed.

To their surprise, Kihara squealed. "Kyaa, you're so cute. I wish I had a daughter like you!" and then she looked at her meaningfully. She glanced at Kuroko and asked, "Tetsuya-kun, Momoi-chan is very cute, don't you think?"

"Yes, Momoi-san is indeed very cute," replied Kuroko with a smile.

'What is he doing with my face and voice, that idiot! That is so embarrassing,' Kagami mentally face-palmed.

Happy with the response, Kihara grinned at Momoi. When Kihara winked at her teasingly with a small smirk, Momoi knew she had more than approval from 'the mother'. Ahhhh, how she adored Kuroko and his family.

"Well then," Kihara motioned them to sit down, which the four complied, "please stay and rest while I prepare dinner. It will be ready in a minute."

"Please let me help," Momoi offered, already up on her feet.

"No!" was the immediate response from Kuroko and Akashi.

"Momoi-san," Kuroko started, "I can't let a guess help out in the kitchen. Please stay here."

Lucky for him, Kihara thought the same thing, (only that her thoughts were genuine), "that's right, Momoi-chan, you're a guest, I can't let you work! Ah…but maybe, we can cook together in the future, you know, when you're already part of the family."

That got Momoi to sit back on the sofa after mumbling a "yes", face red.

"I"ll go help your mom, you kids have fun," Takeshi said. For some reason, he looked at Momoi when he said "your mom". Apparently, the raven-haired man decided to play along with his wife. Kuroko honestly wonder since when did his parents take teasing people as a habit. Akashi seemed to take amusement in this, for he joined in and teased Momoi too after Takeshi and Kihara left. "They would be good parents-in-law, don't you think Momoi?"

Kagami just looked at Kuroko's subtly miserable expression and sympathized with him. He had gone through the same thing with Himuro and Alex. The blunette patted Kuroko on the back, and to be honest, Kuroko didn't feel any better.

A/N: this chapter is really short, I just want to update. And I have unexpected Momoi's feels. I apologize.
