Previously… in the Crystal Province…

"Tetsuya, you…I…" I leaned in further as if trying to get the words to come out of my father's mouth.

I jumped slightly when my mother slammed her hands on her desk, her eyes red from crying and her grin replaced with a simple but serious straight line.

I didn't even see the words that came out of her mouth coming.

"Tetsuya, you're getting married to the other province princes," my mother dropped the bomb.

I didn't know what to say because my mouth suddenly felt dry and when I noticed, darkness had fallen all around me and I welcomed it.

Normal P.O.V.

Servants were rushing here and royal planners were rushing there: and to put it simply, it was chaos.

After the Queen had given Tetsuya the news, he had been transported to his room by his personal servants. He was awake, but just didn't have the strength to get out of bed. His mind was a chaotic storm at the moment. His thoughts were jumbled and it was all because he was to be wed to the princes of the other provinces.

'This isn't how I thought my day would turn out…'

Kuroko P.O.V.

I can't believe this! Just what is father thinking!? IF he's even thinking at all… Married to the other five princes? There is just no way I could EVER be married all five of them! I'm a guy for Hell's sake! But…if I don't marry them…there will be war. And it will have been my fault because I didn't follow my duties as the Supreme Prince…

"I'm having a hard time processing all of this information." I sighed out quietly just moments before my master bedroom's door opened.

There standing in the doorway with a tray of food and a blue letter was my most trusted servant and best friend, Kazure.

"Oh, Kazure-chan, hello, I see mother has requested you bring me dinner in my room?" My least concern was with the food, honestly. I wonder what's contained in that letter...

"Yes, Tetsuya, Her Majesty did request this, but I also have news for you." She walked across the room and placed the tray on my night stand, taking the dark blue letter off of the tray and handing it to me. "An invitation from the Water Province has been sent to you. It's from the Prince, Prince Aomine, himself." She stepped back from the bed and headed towards the door a bit stiffly.

Prince Daiki? I've played with him quite a bit when I was younger; good times we used to have. But, an invitation? I know that the Water Province is well known for its…parties, so whenever my father or mother were invited, I didn't bother to go myself. But, a personal invite from
Daiki himself? This would be interesting.

"Thank you, Kazure-chan. You may leave to attend to other things." I needed my privacy on this occasion.

"As you wish, Tetsuya," She left with haste and…slammed my door? What? I wonder what's wrong with her. She never does anything so uncharacteristically. I'll have to talk to her privately some other rime since she's been acting strange.

"Oh well, guess I should see what Daiki's up to this time…" I carefully opened the letter and pulled the crisp, golden sheet of card stock paper from the envelope.

"Dear…Tetsuya, I know of your father's plans… Don't you remember when…blah blah…Unite kingdoms…I wanted to throw an early engagement masquerade party!?" I'm shocked. I'm sure if someone looked at my face right now they couldn't tell, but I'm shocked.

How does he even know already? I JUST found out myself! Does everyone know about this? Do the other province prince's know of this? Am I the only one didn't know about this? How long has this been kept from me if so?

So many questions flooded my thoughts then and I couldn't believe how soon all of these things were happening.

I sighed and put the letter on the table, "How am I going to get through this? There is no way I'm going to be able to talk myself out of this one…"

Next thing on the list of things to do now: Attend the Masquerade.

Me: I'M ALIVE! x.x Well, hopefully I'll be able to get the next chapter out next week. I need some serious motivation! I felt so bad that I hadn't updated since like…when again? Damn, I've forgotten. I've been wrapped up in Free! and Attack on Titan/Shengeki no Kyojin.
