Dani's POV:
Today was the big day and I suddenly found myself extremely nervous. Santana and I spent the night apart to try and make this wedding as traditional as possible, but not having her around to calm my nerves was making me a nervous wreck.
"Dani, calm down. My god you'd think you were getting married or something," Alex laughed pinning up my hair.
"Alex this is not the time for jokes," I huffed, the butterflies in my stomach only multiplying by the second.
"Okay I'm sorry Dani, but seriously you have to relax. You haven't been nervous this whole time and now you are suddenly a mess," she said as Rachel made her way over to me.
"Thanks Alex, you're making me feel so much better," I sighed.
"Dani don't worry you're going to be fine, trust me. Everybody gets a little nervous on the big day. The minute you walk down that aisle and see Santana, your nerves will melt away, I promise," she said grabbing some mascara and helping Alex get me ready.
"Thanks Rach, at least someone here knows how to make people feel better," I said giving Alex a pointed look, which only caused her to let out a small chuckle.
Alex and Rachel continued to fix my makeup and do my hair and before I knew it, it was time to start the wedding.
Santana's POV:
It was moment's before I had to walk down the aisle and I was suddenly freaking out.
"Oh my god, it's time," I said my stomach knotting up as I was moments away from marrying the love of my life. Kurt laughed at my expression and put a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry Satan, you're going to be fine. Trust me, I've been here before," he laughed, but I was still freaking out.
"But what if I trip or forget my vows or…" I started but Kurt interrupted me.
"Calm down Santana. I promise all of the nerves will fade away when you and Dani are finally out there together," he said with a warm smile and I nodded my head before the music started to play. Kurt gave me a small smile before he left to walk down the aisle with the rest of the bridesmaids and bridesmen. I watched as Kurt, Rachel, and Blaine walked over to my side of the altar and Aiden and Ryan walked over to Dani's side before it was time for me to make my entrance. My father gave me a warm smile before linking his arm with mine. I took a deep breath and made my way slowly down the aisle with my father by my side. My nerves still lingered, but my excitement quickly grew. I smiled as I made my way down the aisle, seeing all of my old friends and my family in the crowd smiling back. When I finally made my way up to the front, Kurt and Rachel gave me a reassuring smile before I turned and waited for the entrance of my beautiful bride to be. A few seconds passed and then Dani stepped onto the aisle with Alex by her side. She looked up and a huge smile spread across her lips as our eyes found each other. My breath hitched at the sight of her. She was truly the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and I couldn't help but smile the entire time she walked up the aisle. When she finally reached me, I grabbed her hands as Alex walked over to stand next to the rest of the people on Dani's side. Dani turned so that she was facing me, our smiles only growing as we were finally together again. The minute our eyes locked onto each other, my nerves suddenly melted away and I finally understood what Kurt was talking about earlier.
"We are gathered here today to join together Santana and Dani in matrimony," the minister started as Dani and I held our gaze, everybody around us fading away. "We are all privileged in being able to witness these two beautiful women exchange their vows and express their devotion to each other through the bond of love. May your marriage bring peace and joy to this world because today you make a pledge to share your love for each other for the rest of your lives," he said looking between the two of us.
"Now, Santana do you take Dani to be your wife, your partner in life, and your one true love? Do you promise to stay with her in sickness and in health, in good times and bad times, as long as you both shall live?" the minister asked turning towards me.
"I do," I said confidently, squeezing Dani's hands as I did.
"And Dani, do you take Santana to be your wife, your partner in life, and your one true love? Do you promise to stay with her in sickness and in health, in good times and bad times, as long as you both shall live?" he asked turning towards Dani.
"I do," she said with a huge smile on her face as her eyes started to tear up.
"And now, please join me in witnessing Santana and Dani exchange their vows," he said before turning towards me.
"Dani, from the moment I saw you, I knew that I needed you in my life. Every moment I spend with you, my love for you grows stronger. Every time I see you, you take my breath away. You are the one thing in this world that I am sure of and I know that the love I have for you can never be broken and that you and I are forever," I finished and watched as Dani's smile grew and her tears started to fall down her cheeks. She took a moment before looking deep into my eyes and beginning her own vows.
"Santana, when I first met you I was lost. You found a way to break through my walls and make me happy again. Santana, you saved me. You showed me what true love is and I know that what we have is something truly special. I have never been happier in my life than when I am with you. I love you so much Santana and words will never be able to describe how strongly I feel for you," she said and my heart swelled, both of us with tears in our eyes. After our vows, Kurt and Alex made their way over to Dani and I and handed over the rings.
"I Santana, give you Dani this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you," I said taking her hand and sliding the ring onto her finger.
"I Dani, give you Santana this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you," she said back to me, sliding her ring onto my finger.
"By the power vested in me by the State of New York, I now pronounce you Mrs. and Mrs. Rhodes-Lopez. You may now kiss your spouse," he finished and I smiled before leaning in and placing my lips onto Dani's. The feeling was electric and if I could choose any moment to relive, I would choose this kiss every single time. When we broke apart, the sound of applause and cheers started to fill my head as I took Dani's hand in my own and walked her down the aisle. I smiled as we made our way past our friends and family and made our way to the limo. When we got in, Dani immediately reconnected our lips as the driver started heading towards the reception.
"I love you so much Santana," she breathed out as we broke apart.
"I love you too, Mrs. Rhodes-Lopez," I said and she smiled before giving me another sweet kiss. When we broke apart she leaned into my side.
"I can't believe we did it. We're married," she said looking up at me with a huge smile on her face. "You're my wife," she said excitedly.
"And you're my wife," I said with a light laugh. We stayed wrapped up in each other's arms until we made it to the place where the reception was being held. When we got out of the limo, I grabbed Dani's hand and led her into the building. We were immediately greeted with warm applause as we made our way out onto the dance floor.
"Please welcome Mrs. and Mrs. Rhodes-Lopez for their first dance as a married couple," the DJ said as the song we chose started to play and Dani and I began swaying to the music.
Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance.

Dani smiled before moving so that her head was resting on my shoulder as we continued to sway.

Dani came up and placed a lingering kiss on my lips, as the rest of the people in the room just seemed to disappear. The only person I saw in this moment was my beautiful bride.

When the song ended, Dani came in for another kiss and everybody in the room applauded before everybody else started to join us on the dance floor. We continued to dance and Dani leaned in close next to my ear.
"How did I get so lucky to have you by my side for the rest of my life?" she whispered and I smiled before leaning in next to her ear.
"Because you stole my heart babe, and I don't ever want it back," I said with a smile before connecting our lips and losing myself in my feelings for her. Dani and I were forever, and there was nothing in this world that I was more sure of than us.
