The sunrays were pleasant, warming Brice's skin as he stood in the middle of the rose garden.

He was hugging Seto, his arms wrapped around the Sorcerer's back, rubbing small circles through the fabric. Seto's own arms were circled around Brice's torso, holding him close.

"Brice, I need to go," Seto said. He pulled away and Brice let him. His skin was pale, even more so than normally. He coughed, bringing his hand to his mouth.

"I don't think you should go if you're ill," Brice said, sapphire eyes watching Seto with concern.

"No, I really need to go," Seto said when his coughing finally subsided. He looked at Brice with a sort of a sad smile. His brown eyes were swirling with emotions.

He stood up on his tiptoes, connecting his lips to Brice's. the kissed gently, and whenSeto pulled away, he offered Brice a smile.

"Bye," he said, turning around.

He walked out of the garden, his body seizing in another violent coughing fit. Brice almost ran after him, but he remembered what Seto said earlier.

'I'll be okay.'

He sighed, watching anxiously as the silhouette of the Sorcerer slowly disappeared.

It's been a few days, and Brice was worried out of his mind. Of course, Seto left for days before, but never when he was ill, and Brice didn't know what could even happen to him.

He often sat in the garden, under a tree, surrounded by rose bushes that brought him the Sorcerer's familiar scent and he'd fill his sketchbook with doodles and mindless drawings. He spent entire days there, looking out to see the brunet returning.

The Sorcerer came back after a few more days. He was even paler than ever before, but it didn't matter, because he was back.

Brice ran over to him, hugging the everliving lights out of the petite brunet. The Sorcerer pushed him away, though.

"You need to let go," he whispered, voice sounding harsh and hoarse.

"Huh?" Before the Aussie could even process anything, Seto turned around and went away again.

Brice could see him doubled over in the distance, body shaking with violent coughs.

He came back every day after that and hugged Brice tightly every time.

He always left then, always telling Brice only one thing.

"To let go."
