Hey guys, I'm back. Um. Yeah hi. Its felix. And I figured I would change this chapter. If you wanna know why, it's because I wanted to change parts of the plot. And um. I just didnt like the ending, it kinda ruined the flow of the chapter, so I'll wait till chapter four to do anything. So here is Chapter Three without the original ending, so just a bit cut out. Enjoy. I'll get chapter four out soon. I'm surprised I actually got 36 reviews on just these three. Thanks guys. So appreciated. Its been almost two years ._. And im only on chapter three. * sighs* my life.

...

Luffy blinked as he heard Marco shut the door in front of him. Luffy stared for a few more seconds, standing in front of what he knew was the door. His heart felt a bit heavy knowing that Ace wasn't with him, he was supposed to be here, this was going to be their day together. They didn't see eachother as much since Ace worked a lot of hours. Luffy frowned and clutched his fingers into fists, but suddenly he felt a pillow come in contact with the back of his head. That was when he remembered Thatch was still here, he wasn't alone. Though it was kind of annoying, throwing something at a blind person? It was like... a game! Luffy grinned as he turned around and carefully bent down to search for the pillow at his feet. When he felt the feathery fabric, he gripped it in his hands and hid behind the corner of a wall, and waited to hear his opponent.

"Uh, whatcha doing there, Luffy? I was just thinking we should go out and buy-Oof. Right in the face." Thatch blinked at the pillow at his feet and than looked back up at the giggling teen who was now hiding behind the couch. So Thatch wanted a fun way to get the kid's attention, he didn't mean to start a war! Thatch being himself, rolled his eyes and kicked the pillow into Luffy who fell over laughing and hugging the pillow. The kid was too cute.

"Oi, Luffy, calm down bud." Thatch waited a few more moments for the kid's laughter to fall silent, in the meanwhile, hopping to sit on the back of the couch, sitting and looking down at the kid, catching the teens attention using his voice. "So, I was thinking we could go out and look for ideas for pranking either Ace or Marco, and then get a bite to eat together, whatcha think?" Thatch asked, both of them grinning widely.

"Ooh! Ace! Ace! No Marco! It's always fun when Marco is mad cause he gets this funny look on his face, like he has to poop! Shishishi, but Ace! No, wait-" Thatch cut Luffy off, because at this point Luffy's face was turning a bit red from thinking too much, he didn't want the kid to hurt himself, Ace would kill him, surely. "How about both? It'll be perfect! We'll get them both at the same time when they get home. The only question is how." Thatch smiled when the kid cheered and claimed him to be the 'bestest ever'.

"How about this, lets go out shopping and I can get some ideas. Come on you, we're leaving!"

...

The drive was actually rather short in Ace's opinion, though that might be because his mind was elsewhere, far away. He was staring down at the paper with the address of the organization, wondering about the possibilities that Luffy could have with this. It was a good opportunity for the kid, and it was definitely in Ace's favor, this way he could handle taking care of his jobs and Luffy. He wanted Luffy to be safe, always, this guide dog would become his partner. The question was, would Luffy agree? He was always adamant about 'doing things on his own and that's what worried Ace the most-

"Ace? Ace." His head snapped to Marco, he hadn't realized the blond had been speaking to him, he wondered for how long he'd been trying to get his attention.

"Hm? Sorry Marco, my mind is in another land I guess. What were you saying?" Ace asked with a sheepish face. Only five minutes into their date, and he already messed up, he secretly frowned at himself on the inside.

"It's fine, you just worried me for a second. I was asking what you were holding on to so tightly there, it looks like a scrap of paper..? Is that what you wanted to talk about later?" Marco's blue eyes wandered from Ace to the paper, and back to those storm grey eyes that he always enjoyed staring into.

"Uh, oh this? Yeah, it's... well its for Lu. A surprise, per say, and I'm just thinking all of it through. To make sure I'm making the right decision. I... I want to get him a guide dog. You know I can't keep letting you guys look after him, he has to be on his own someday, I guess. And I'm so busy lately trying to pay bills and shuffling job after job, I just thought.." Ace's voice quieted down, Marco knew this meant he was doubting himself. Marco was one of the few who ever got to see Ace when he was unsure of himself, or when he was hurting. But Marco was there to make sure Ace was happy, that was Marcos job.

"That's a great idea Ace, I'm sure Luffy will be excited to hear about it, and I think he's ready for this, a step towards his independence ever since.. the incident all those years ago." Marco took his eyes off the road for a moment to give Ace's hand a tight squeeze, a reassurance he knew would comfort Ace enough to be confident in his decision.

Ace cracked a half smile and took a deep calming breath of air, and looked at Marco with admiring and sad eyes, the blonde was too busy focusing on the road in front of him to notice the moment of deep sorrow that Ace was in. He didn't believe he deserved Marco, the blonde deserved so much better than him, he really did. But Ace just shook his head to try and rid of those thoughts, and to focus on making Marco happy like Marco made him happy.

As the erratic-haired blonde pulled the car into a parking lot of the restuarant, he pulled the key out of the ignition and stared off into the distance in front of him for a few seconds before coming to the quick conclusion of wanting to kiss Ace. He looked to the side at the black-haired love of his life and leaned over the middle of the car to grasp Ace's shoulder getting his attention, his face getting closer to the youngers. Ace knew what Marco was getting at and leaned foward to let their lips connect.

Ace's heart beat skipped faster, his palms becoming sweaty at the amount of emotion Marco seemed to be putting into the kiss. It felt like a storm brewing inside his stomach, he found his hand move to grip Marcos jacket to bring the man closer to him. The two of them breathed slowly through their noses to make the kiss last longer until they needed more air and broke apart but kept their heads together so they could stare at eachother. Ace slowly loosened his grip on his blonde and pulled away from him with a small smile on his face.

Marco stared at Ace with a longing glance, and cracked a smile. "Sorry I just.. sometimes I just get lost in you." Marco admitted and squeezed Ace's hand before unlocking the car and opening his door, waiting for Ace. Once inside the restaurant that Luffy's friend Sanji worked at, the Baratie, a very different kind of serving place. It served just about all kinds of people, everyone allowed.

Funnily enough, Sanji didn't seem to be working in his usual position of being host -mostly to scope out young ladies- or waiter. Ace shrugged it off, and kept close to Marco until they were seated in an excluded corner of the restaurant, away from most people, thanks to Marco's request. He seemed a bit off if Ace looked closely at how the blonde had been acting so far tonight, nervous even. He wondered what was bothing him, he wanted to comfort him, like Marco was so good at doing with him. He deserved happiness.

Suddenly Ace's heart dropped to the floor if he thought more about it, the blonde had been acting funny all evening, wanting an evening alone to talk was unsual, the long kiss in the car, the nervous energy-what if that was the last of Marcos kisses that he'd ever get again. What if the blonde was tired of him, and was going to end things tonight, or- "Ace? Ace, you alright there?" Marco's voice shifted the black-haired young adult back into reality, he must have looked weird staring off into nothing. "You look a little pale there, you alright?" Marco's voice held worry, and a bit of something else. Ace faked a smile and denied it, blaming it on the lighting.

"Oh, well okay, if you're not feeling well we can always go home earlier than planned." Ace tried to reassure the blonde that he was alright and he wanted to be here with him. As the waitress came and took their orders, he couldn't help but notice the look she was giving his blonde, and the way Marco politely smiled back, not knowing that the girl was actually flirting. Ace frowned and loudly placed his menu down before stating his order and looking straight into the girls eyes. He gave her the look that clearly said "Back off, he's all mine, and if you so much as give him one more look I'm going to kill you." She must have gotten the hint as she quickly picked up the menus and hurried off with a few glances back at the table.

Marco raised his eyebrows at the narcoleptic teen in front of him and wondered why he seemed irrate. He reached across the table and took ahold of Ace's hand and intertwined their fingers together. "I have a question for you, Ace." Marco stated staring at their hands. Ace gulped and stared at Marcos calm, collective face, and wondered what he was thinking.

"And what would that be?" Ace's heart felt like exploding, and he felt dizzy, he didn't know what was going on, he didn't know what was going to happen. He didn't want to be left alone again, he didn't want Marco to leave. His eyes said cheerful and happy but in reality they pleaded 'please dont leave.' Marco was silent for a long time, his thumb stopped making circles against Ace's hand and that worried him. It wasn't until what felt like forever to Ace that Marco looked up into Ace's eyes with intense emotion that half intrigued and half scared him.

"Will you move in with me?"

Ace's eyes widened, and his heart stopped pounding, what sounded like ringing began in his ears as he stared into those blue eyes he loved so much. Wait... moving in? He's... He's not leaving me. Ace let out a deep breath he'd been holding in. "I... I thought you were going to leave me." Ace whispered, he felt lightheaded from the relief he was suddenly feeling, and his throat felt tight. He tightly gripped onto Marcos hand and tilted his head down so his hair shadowed his eyes, hiding them. Why was he acting like this, he probably seemed insane. Ace frowned more.

Marcos eyes softened when he saw the relief and hurt in the stormy grey eyes and freckled face that he adored. "Leave you? Ace, I'm in love with you." Marco stated with full acceptance and confidence that left Ace feeling like he was on top of the world. It had been at that moment that the waitress had come back with their food, feeling awkward at overhearing those intimate words. Ace could tell, she was blushing. Hard. This made him smirk. 'Mine.' Ace thought to himself.

When they finished eating and paying the bill, Marco lead the way onto the streets, seeming to want to go for a short walk. Ace's heart sped up, and he wondered if Marco was sad since he seemed quiet, he might think that Ace didn't want to move in with him since he never gave the blonde an actual answer since the waitress ruined the moment, Ace thought with irritation.

Ace was so in thought that he didn't even notice that the blonde had lead them into an alleyway and only did notice when the blonde stopped and turned around, gaining all of his attention. "Marco? I'm sorry I didn't give you an answer, I just thought that since you were acting funny, you were going to end things with-" Marco's hands found Ace's sides as he stepped closer to him, connecting their lips in a way that seemed longingful and borderline forceful, very unusual for the blonde. Ace gripped onto Marcos jacket once again, feeling lightheaded from the kiss that was slowly turning into something a bit more intense then what the blonde probably intended.

The two of them rocked back and forth, entranced in the others body movements. Marcos hands slipped down to Aces hips, bringing them against his own to create a friction that made their actions even more intense. Their lips went from slow and passionate to fast and not stopping. It wasn't until a few minutes of bliss, that Ace departed from Marco a bit breathless from lack of air.

"Marco? Can we talk about the whole "moving in" thing? I just, it's a big question for me, and with Luffy and all, there's a lot of things going on right now for me. I just need to think about it and talk it through with you." Ace said, he was still trying to get his breath back. The blonde gently pushed Ace against the brick wall behind him and held him tightly against him, all the while saying nothing. He just hummed a response.

Ace kept silent, wondering why Marco was acting this way, he usually didn't throw himself at Ace, he was always collected and well put together. Nonetheless, he hugged Marco back, and the two of them stayed like that for quite awhile, silent and contemplative.

Marco was the first to let go, before taking Ace's hand and leading him back to the parking lot with his car in it. "You can take time to think it over, Ace, I just.." Marco was silent for awhile. It wasn't until they reached the car that Marco spoke again. "I should probably get you home to your adoring kid brother, huh?" Marco said jokingly. Ace shivered by the cold, he didn't realize how dark it was already. Ace got into the car with a small smile on his face, though he worried if Marco was feeling alright.

Authors Note: So, yeah. Ten months later and here I am. An unknown author with a lousy story that I have begun to write again. Honestly, I totally left One Piece behind, but still I love everything about it. Things have changed so much for me, its crazy. I'll try and be quick about an update next time, if I continue this that is. Should I start something new? I'm slowly getting back into One Piece and Fanfictions, etc. Please review, I like to get feedback, and know any mistakes, I wrote this in the middle of the night. Until next time guys.

*Updated Authors Note*: So another nine/ten months has passed, and the only effort i put into this story is deleting part of it. *facepalm* arent' i just great lol. I'm gonna get chapter four out there hopefully today, and if not feel free to pour hot tea all over my face and throw food at me. I probably deserve it. Thanks guys, hope everyone tunes in again next time. (if there is a next time T-T)
