Summary- Harry has never really had an easy life, even after the war is over. This really shows and was seriously starting to effect Harry; both mentally and physically. That is until Harry finds a certain book in the black Library. One that looks as if it had been through botched attempt at destroying it and then upon failing at that hidden away in a far corner; where it hopefully would never be seen again. A Book that promises a new, fresher, happier start with a rather simple ritual. Harry having nothing to lose and almost everything to gain decides to attempt said ritual. But there had to be some reason the Black family seemed to be so eager to get rid of the book they had right? My Little pony/ Harry potter crossover.

Chapter two

Slowly with a groan of pain Harry began to wake up, wondering silently to himself why he was passed out on what looked to be an old forest floor as he did so. Wondering why he wasn't in his study looking up new healing spells like he had remembered being. That is when Harry remembered everything. Including just what had happened, or to be more precise just what he had saw, before he had passed out….for the second time.

Remembering all of this Harry jumped up, and this time he managed to keep his balance as he did so; however shakily it was. Harry seeing that he wasn't falling down looked both around him, and at himself….well mainly Harry took a good long look himself after taking a quick, almost too quick, glance around himself.

Harry did this like he did, despite the fact he knew the dangers of ignoring his surrounding like he currently was, because Harry was getting the very strong gut feeling, something Harry had long since learned he should listen to, that the new form he found himself in was very much a permanent one. Not only that but he needed to get used to it as soon as he could. This was a feeling that wasn't leaving Harry and one that wasn't letting Harry ignore it.

What Harry saw when he did this made him think to himself that he desperately needed to find something with a reflective surface and he needed to find one quickly. Because what he saw couldn't be true, it just couldn't. After all it wasn't his Animagus form, he actually didn't have one; his animal form being something Harry seemed to have lost in return for his ability to heal and use wandless magic like he did. This in mind Harry took off in the direction he could smell water in. Not noticing for a moment that he wouldn't have been able to smell the water, or have known about it at all for that matter, if he was completely human as he did so.

Harry once he reached where he could smell the water found himself at a small, but beautiful looking lake. Once there Harry suddenly realized what he just did wasn't quiet human. Understanding this, and knowing what it most likely meant, Harry apprehensively walked over to the surface of the lake.

As soon as he got to that reflective surface Harry looked down into the lake and once he did so he nearly fell into said lake. Because Harry saw that, no what he had seen earlier hadn't been wrong like he had hoped. Instead reflected by the crystal clear lake water was the same thing he had seen earlier and more that he actually hadn't been able to see.

There where Harry was hoping would be a different, yet oh so familiar site of his old reflection, was instead his new reflection. One Harry knew, despite how much he tried to deny and fight against it, would be his final one. His magic was telling him as much and like his gut Harry learned to rely on his magic; bad things tented to happen when he ignored either one.

Sighing Harry knowing he honestly didn't have a choice in the matter, mainly because of his earlier rash reaction of not reading further in the book that had the ritual he had used in the first place like his gut had said to, took in his new, decidedly not human new, look.

The first thing Harry noticed was that he was a horse of some sort, which really helped explained the hooves that had made him pass out earlier.

The second thing he noticed was actually two things at once and that was he was a winged, horned horse of some sort….or was that a winged unicorn of some sort?

The next thing Harry noticed, or was it really at the same time because there really wasn't much time between everything Harry was noticing, was the colors. Harry was now a pitch, light absorbing, black unicorn, with black wings, a black sharp looking horn, but pure white, almost silver looking hooves, Though Harry noticed his mane was a mixture of black a sliver white, along with his tail in fact his mane and tail looked remarkably similar to how his hair had looked back before he had used the ritual. Thinking on this, and wondering why the hell he hadn't thought about looking earlier considering all the other things that had changed about him, Harry looked at his eyes; the only thing he had left to remind him of his mother. Only to sigh in pure relieve when he noticed that they had, like his hair colors, remained the same. A brilliant breath taking emerald green color.

Harry, grateful that his eyes had remained the same, calmed down a bit and looked at all the changes he had under gone all together; mainly looking for at the things that had remained the same between his new form and his old one. Harry knew that the more things that he could find in common between his new form and his old form the more comfortable he would feel in his newer form.

Sadly, Harry couldn't find many similarities. In fact the only ones that Harry could find, was the coloration was similar, the scars, something Harry which Harry found himself both grateful for and thinking that he could actually do without, and the fact that like his old form this form was built more for speed then pure strength; while at the same time he still looked like it could pack a good deal of strength behind its more lean build.

Once he took in all of this in, and added it together with all of the other changes that he noticed, Harry had to say that the creature in the lake reflection was a really beauty. One that he would really have loved to have seen at any other time; as long as it had hadn't been him. But it was, so Harry couldn't say he was all too happy about seeing it.

Though at the same time, like he had thought before, Harry knew he had to get used to it. There really was no other choice; especially as the book he had used before hadn't come with him. So with that in mind, Harry away from the lake and was going to go look around his surrounding, to hopefully get his mind off of all his changes long enough for himself to calm down fully. That is when Harry noticed yet another thing that had changed. One that he had completely missed up until then.

There on his new hind end, right above his back leg and right before his new black and white tail. Was some sort of mark. Looking at it, Harry could tell it was a bright, killing curse, green healer cross with the deadly Hallows symbol, in black and white, inside it. Harry both had an idea what it could mean and no idea at the same time.

This last thing, however small it seemed to be, was the straw that broke the camel's back. Because upon seeing this last thing, on top of all of the others, Harry couldn't stop himself, nor did he really want to, from falling back on his new rear end; looking as defeated as he was starting to feel. Harry as he did this suddenly got a really good idea as to why the Black family had hidden, and tried to destroy, the book from earlier. Worst yet Harry got the feeling he was only beginning to scratch the surface of it all.
