Epilogue of Memories

Ok, It was my own fault that I forgot to post it as fast as previous chapter. But the...Oh my… it's that what I type? WAS IT WHAT I TYPED?

The pitch trembling voice of Naraku reaches everybody's ears, stopping them from any continued fight. The Ruby Queen frowns, her eyes widen to the scene up the ruins. Black ashes is swirled by the wind, revealing the real body of Naraku, Onigumo, kneels on the floor. She trembles, not believes her eyes.

Immediately, I point the Vorpal sword to Naraku's bare neck to prevent other attack, receiving his rage gaze.

I catch my lost breath quickly,"It's over, Naraku…It's over…"

It's my choice… It's my choice to slay no one… Nobody have to die for that mad queen…

He wants to fight back, aiming to the ruby stone in my grip.

I close the sharp edge of the sword. Blood trickle a bit from the pointed neck.

"...Kill me..." now he begs, hurt eyes not leaving me.

"No. You have lost your power. There is no other battle to finish and basically: I won,"

He greets his teeth,"Slaying your opponents is the victory! It's fight to dead, you moron! Don't you understand?!"

I just can pity the servant of evil under my glare.

Sure I understand…but…

I step backward from him, sheath back the sword."You're like the others. You are used by Kikyo. I wasn't aiming for taking a chained soul."

Onigumo stares blankly to the female knight who leaves the scene and steps down the stairs. He stands, it's not him to leave it just like that.

I turns to the ruined stairs, nothing to be done there anyway.I've done the best I can. I get enough high view to the battle floor, everybody is frozen in their position of fight.

And If I expected some cheers of the victory from the crowd, it wouldn't happen. It's bloody battle, not a cheesy gambling.

I take a few steps and in sudden feel a familiar dark aura, turning on time to see smirking face of Onigumo.

His still clawed hand reaches out to her back, but then a spear piercing the upper limb back to the ground. Onigumo growls, not expecting something will penetrate his thick arm bone.

I stunned, head turns to where the spear which has saved my life coming from.

Sesshomaru bows a bit as the effect of throwing the long sharp weapon far to its target, straightens himself immediately as Rin's gaze back to him.

"What are you all waiting for?! He is interrupting again! Kill him!" The frustrated queen points to the hatter, glares her silent army.

A brave human soldier in red armor slams his sword to the stained floor.

"We follow you no more, bloody flaming head!"

She rages on sudden resistance,"How dare you! The battle is not finished! Off with his head!"

Another clacking sound of thrown sword.

"Face it, Kikyo! Your champion has kneel, wounded, no power to any more fight. The battle is over." Kohaku exclaims.

Then, One by one weapons are thrown, the spells are cancelled. Soldiers remove their helmet and welcome the family from different party, which they have prevented not to kill each other and just practiced their battle skill. The dragons separates each other and bows as the end of their honorable battle.

Kikyo watches the ceasefire in horror. Her fear grows as the once tiny golden crown left her flaming head. Chessire appears stealing the symbol of mighty, a white crystal crown sits on black raven hair of Crystal Queen.

"Kikyo Yami No Musume."

I reach beside Kirara right for a firm announcement from Kagome.

"Your crimes against Underland are worthy of death! However…That's again my vow." She closes to the accused, her once firm face light a bit.

"Therefore, you will be banished to the most isolated region of Upland. No one will acknowledge you, show any kindness or slightly a bit speak to you…You will not have any friend out there."

I'm certain I still can see a wrenching heart and sorrow behind that hard arrogant face of sadistic queen.

Onigumo walks limply to the new ruler, bows as sweetly as a broken arm man can do.

"Majesty…I hope you show me your kindness and forgive…"

Kagome replies with a sweet smile,"Kikyo won't be alone, Onigumo. As the loyal servant, you'll follow her to the banishment till the end of Underland,"

He widens his eyes, his hand and Kikyo's are chained.

Former cruel queen brings a smile, her hair flames again in a bit relief.

"At least, we have each other" she says to the man beside him. Onigumo looks the end of his world, eyes dart to Kikyo then to Kagome and Rin, repeating that a few times.

"No, no..Don't! Please kill me, my queen! KILL ME!" His hoarse voice fills the air as Kikyo and himself drag to a cage, immediately brought by gigantic demon out of our sight, an unknown way up to my world. I don't know how poor that guy...

A certain dog demon calms his magenta mark and fixes his hat,"O... Frabjus day..."

I turn to see Sesshomaru stops in front of ruined castle. He smirks, and that long legs start move incredibly fast and vigorously agile, continued with sudden flipback and swirl with his head down like....Is it breakdance?

"What is he doing?" I ask to Chessire floating near me.

"It's Futterwacken," it replies, grinning abnormaly as usual. Ah...I remember his promise in that tea party...

Like a contagious fever, some of the armies, even former Kikyo's witch, follows the former leader. There is unhearable music beating up in their moves.

Kagome smiles warmly seeing her people gathered back, clapping her hands. I chuckle.

A thought hits me, I look back to the glowing ruby gems in my hand.

"Um...My majesty, I think it belongs to Underland. To you," I offer the stone.

"Ah... Red Wish, a precious one. I think it now belongs to you, as our everlasting gratitude..." She says.

I inspect the stone,"Red Wish? How is it useful for me?"

"Before the rule of Frabjus day, each of us got an inheritance. My mother gave her that magic stone which could bring the mightiest spell. And I got Vorpal sword, my father hoped I could prevent my sister from the greediness of the stone. I pitied her for lend it to Naraku..."

I look up at her. "This stone...can grant...any spell...or a wish?! I can go home?"

"If that what you choose..."

I look around me.

The hare,

the wolf clan leader Kouga,

The fat twin,

Shippo,

tiny cute beast Kirara,

smiling Chessire,

Kohaku...and the people of Wonderland... I'll miss them.

Isn't this what I have look forward? Going to my real home?

Lying Inuyasha, Upland Kagome, Sister Sango with that pervert Miroku, and mother...

Sure...I don't belong to here anyway, there is business I have to do.

Sesshomaru comes to my sight, he closes to me. At least, one last proper goodbye...

"You could stay," he says, his face become colder as I can remember.

I smile,"What an idea, a mad wonderful idea...But I can't."

I didn't expect the hard look on his golden eyes, a sad one. "There are questions to be answered. Things to do... I can't abandoned them."

He nods, understanding.

"I'll be back before you know it!" I try to cheer up, more to myself.

"You won't remember me," a flat tone statement.

"Of course I'll remember. How I can forget?" the adventure, the lesson, the smile...how can I forget?!

There is a long stare between the gold and brown, before I break the silent."Hatter, why is a raven like a writing desk?"

Sesshomaru smile, that one sincere normal smile in my dream. "I have no slightest idea..."

His face comes near to me, whisper a thing to me. "Fairfarren, Rin,"

I widen my eyes. Then, I feel his hand takes mine, holds tenderly the one with magic stone.

"Bring her home,"a whisper from his mouth to the magic stone, the last thing I see is his smile charming face fade away with all.

ooooooooo~~~oooooooo

Shades of different colours and lights swirl me up. My hand reaches out from the rabbit hole under the old oak tree. I get out of it a little bit hard with my green a little messy dress, then looking at my sorounding. A calming woods with huge mansion not far in it.

I'm back... The sun is a slightest up from where I remember. I wasted three days in there and up to a minute...

I look back to the hole a moment, before walking away. There are happiness of going home, proud for helping them, then regret...knowing that I don't know hot to visit back the Wonderland...

Clearing my mind of the negativy, another memory knocks me.

There must be something I forget, again...

Oh, the gazebo!

I run down to the place which started it all.

-meanwhile 10 minutes after Rin's runaway from the scene-

"I can't believe she just left me..." a certain silver short hair man mutters, hiding the shame from his face.

The crowd of people start speaking things and assumptions, making the host of mansion and Rin's family uncomfortable.

And I arrive from the bushes on time before more louder nasty gossip.

Izayoi seems unpleasant,"Where are you, my darling? And what's with that messy dress?!"

Every eyes glare to me, asking for a proper explanations, If I have that kind of that.

I tidy up my dress from a bit dust and dirt, then bows slightly,"I'm sorry that I run away. I'm kind of bit nervous and fell to a hole."

The suit man straightens his back, glaring to me for an answer. I reply with my calm and steady stare.

"I'm sorry, Inuyasha. I think you're not the one for me. And I think, there is a lady named Kagome waiting for you outside there..." my last pronounce receiving widen eyes of both of his parents, he loses his strong look. Nonetheless, I can sense the gratitude from the anger eyes of smiling-oh-I've-found silver hair man.

Then, to my beloved small family. I hold the trembling hands of my mother,"Don't worry, Mom. I'll not waste my beauty time nor I'll be burden for you."

Sango hugs her sudden brave sister, proud of her.

Releasing my sister embrace, I narrow my eyes to his husband,"You are lucky having my sister, Miroku. You'll treat her like a queen from now on. I'll watch you,"

"I have a fanatic to white rabbit...Mrs. Izayoi," I explains, not forget to add the greeting as I walk pass her and end to who has been the second father of my life.

"I think we have some business to discuss, Sir,"

He surprised a bit of my act, but smile kindly and reaches out his hand to a direction,"My study, I guess,"

Izayoi feels a bit upset as she apologizes and calms the crowd. But, there is something before I leave...

"Oh, one more thing!" I turn, lift up a bit my dress and let my leg dance mimicking once Futterwacken I just saw. I hold my laugh seeing surprised, strange or respect look from them.

F23...F23...

I search for my seat at this economic-not yet-crowded- plan, dragging a blue suitcase in my hold.

It has been so fast.

After the cancelled engagement, I ended up explaining my expanding plan of his network industry. I thought I would not succeed back then, but just receiving a nostalgic look from the old man and a sentence that make me proud to the heaven. "If you were other person explaining this plan to me, I would call you mad and unbelievable. But, I have recognize that look from my old friend."

That's it. I want to dance another Futterwacken as happy as I can! My MBA degree isn't wasted.

A week later, I was an employee and sent out as his agent for my own plan expanding Alpha Inc. in Europe, one region they are too afraid to try because of Four Brother's Inc.

I finally find my seat, one near the window. My favourite side.

I put up my stuffs, then sit properly at the soft seat. There's so much happen in a short of time...

Visiting Japan just in a week, becoming a member of biggest network company, an adventurous full of memories in Wonderland...

The last part wrench my heart a bit. I'll miss that Wonderland so much..

But then, I just feel It was the right choice to come back.

Leaning to the closed window, I realize that some of my friend from there might be resemble who I've met in Upland.

Kikyo is the easy-release-wrath , such like ...or my mom,

Kagome...much like the real Kagome in Upland...is a friend that accompany and support me,may be more like my sister Sango...

Absolem is the wise man that resemble father figure of Mr. Inutaisho,

Kohaku, Shippo, The twins...resemble my own tomboy-spoiled-and wishy washy attitude.

Naraku and Onigumo is reflection of my fear,

They have helped me to remember and learn, to be brave facing any kind of problem. To bring back my muchness.

Then, who was Sesshomaru reflecting to? My father that also had title of "Mad Player" ? It seems not...

An odd blue monarch butterfly lands outside my glass window, clapping its wing slowly.

"Hello, Absolem," I greet it, tapping softly from the other side.

The passengers come one by one to their seats and the plan will departed anytime soon, but two seats beside tosca shirt and black jeans lady aren't filled yet.

"It's Miss Karin Crunsher, isn't it?" a baritone voice takes me back from my daydream, the beauty insect flies away.

My eyes stops to my side, widen in surprised. A man brown jacket-dark blue jeans has just found his seat and sat beside me, another white shirt-black pants man is putting their suitcases on the luggage rack above us

The gold eyes stuns me. Then...I remember to blink "Ah...yes, I am... I am Karin,"

A warm smile spreads on his smooth sharp face which wrapped by his silver hair.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Karin. I'm Hattago Okote, just call me Hatta. And he is my companion, Oka Akuma." He says casually, pointing to his black hair friend who has sat beside him. His face is like a copy from the leader of wolf demon clan I've met.

"I'm sorry that we are late. It's because of my behaviour to come really on time of the flight. Well, I hope that didn't bother our upcoming work," Hatta continues, reaches out his hand to me.

Pardon me before, Rin. It's not that I don't believe in you, but think it would be nice if I sent my best employee to accompany you in Europe... Those sentences of my new boss resounds in my head.

"Nice to meet you too,Hatta. And just call me Rin, I think we'll work together well," I reply his reach out hand, smilling wider.

Wuss...that's it. I just realize how much two years I took for this serial to end like that, although I just edit the plot from Alice In Wonderlad to Rin's life itself (What kind of writer I am -_- ...). And for whom wondering about the name I put for Sesshomaru and Kouga in Upland : Hattago Okote slightly means Mad Hatter, and of course Oka Akuma means Werewolf (thanks and not so thanks for Google translate :3)

Before I go to my other serials,please accept my deep apologies for those two years of my wavy mood that made the story might be a bit quickie and odd from my poor English writing.

then, I thank you all that have followed and red it to this final chapter. And also much gratitude to whom have put it to their favourite and taken times to review.
