I actually wrote this awhile ago and never got to posting it because my laptop broke X'D (I'm currently sneaking around ohohoho-) this time the story is quite short and very random so bear with me ahaha-

Realization After The End

"Papa, I don't need a Butler! I can take care of myself!" A young white haired demon said. "This decision is final, Luciela!" The man shouted at her. "Fine! See if he's not dead after a day!"

Lu slammed the door to her father's study. "I swear, that girl..." He said, rubbing his forehead.

"He never thinks of my feelings, always making decision based on his own... Whatever it is." She hugged a pillow, and lied on her bed. Thinking about that made her tears came out. Suddenly a knock came. She looked at the door but there's no one there. "Over here!" A voice said. Lu turned to her window to see a boy her age. "This is the 3rd floor... How did you get here?" Lu said after opening her window. "Hehe, Sorry for troubling you." He said, sitting on the ledge of the window."I was running away from someone."

"HEY BRAT! I KNOW YOU'RE UP THERE! COME DOWN NOW OR I'LL GO UP THERE AND DRAG YOU DOWN!" A voice came from the garden. "Whoops. Looks like I got to go. Bye!" He said and jumped off. "...Bye." Lu said, her mind processing what had just happened.

"This is your butler, Ciel."

Lu blinked three times. It was the boy from yesterday... The boy looked equally surprised. "Now I'll leave you two alone, you can find me in my study as usual." Her father said and walked away. "Wow, I guess I was so rude yesterday." He said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "It's okay, I've never liked formalities anyway." Lu said. They both laughed. "As you probably know by now, 'Mistress', I'm Ciel." Lu chuckled. "I'm Luciela, or you can just call me Lu." Ciel nodded.

Ciel and Lu played around a lot, pranking people and such. Unbeknownst to Ciel, Lu had fallen in love with him, although she herself didn't know.

One day... "What...?" Lu said, taking a step back. "You heard it right. Ciel is to go back to his hometown tomorrow." Her father said sternly. "But... That's..." "No more buts, young lady. That's final."

That night she cried on her pillow and Ciel started packing his things. She woke up late and ran towards where ciel would always be. She went to his , it was empty. None of his belongings were there. She cried her heart out, gripping the bedsheets of the bed in the room which was once Ciel's.

7 years later...

Lu had grown into a fine woman and was to succeed the throne. Her father had been ill for some while now so she had to take over as soon as possible.

"Lu... I have arranged for a butler to serve you and... help you." Her father said. "I don't need any butler. I can take care of myself. Now rest well, Father." She said and walked out of her father's room. "It's... The exact same words she said before..." He said.

"I am Ciel. I was assigned by your father to become your Butler, Milady." The man kneeling in front of her said. "Fine, do whatever you want. I don't care." Lu said. She noticed Ciel's face saddened a little. Suddenly there's a sharp pain in her chest the more she looked at Ciel's sad face. 'What is this..?' She thought. A scene flashed to her mind. A scene where a younger her was playing with a younger ciel. 'How...? I don't even remember him?' She thought, looking at him.

Lu ruled her people with cruelty. Raising taxes and giving out death sentences to even simple crimes. Ciel had tried to stop her but she simply ignored him. Eventually the people of the kingdom got sick of it and declared a rebellion.

Ciel pulled Lu's hand and dragged her around the corners, evading the rebelling people and assassins sent to kill Lu. He swore he would never let Lu die. Lu, on the other hand, had more flashbacks to the past she doesn't recognize. They stopped in front of a portal, The portal to the human world. "Once we get into this, we'll be fine." Ciel said, Lu just nodded. Suddenly many people surrounded them. "We got you now..." They said, raising their weapons.

A gunshot rang and ciel got on front of Lu, taking the bullet himself. He turned around and pushed Lu into the portal. "Mila- Lu..." He said, smiling while clutching his wound. Suddenly everything flashed back to her mind. "Ciel! Ciel!" Tears started flowing. "I couldn't really save you or anyone... But before I disappear... The window to your heart... Please draw me on it." She remembered those words were a code which meant... 'forget me not.'

"Ciel! I love you! Since we were young...!" She said. He smiled, mouthing something.

'I love you too'.

And everything went white.

She woke up in a forest. She ran around, searching for the portal to the demon world. She found it but it was already destroyed from inside the demon world. She didn't only lose Ciel once, but twice. Now that the portal is destroyed She'll never see him again, forever. Suddenly a box dropped from her dress. She picked it up and opened it. It was a ring. And a note. 'I love you. From Ciel.' Was written. She started crying. She regretted everything, she had treated Ciel badly when she didn't remember anything about him.

She realized it too late, Everything was already lost.
