A/N: As much as I would want to read Ryuko/Aikuro fanfiction (and smut), there seems to be a real lack of Kill la Kill fanfiction in general. It's a great series, at least I think so. Sad fan is sad.

Not A Good Lullaby

By Luna A

There was a moment of hesitation. He knew it. He could not deny himself of it. In that decisive moment when he had to pull the trigger, Mikisugi Aikuro faltered.

His sight was locked on target. His sniping skill was not just for show – he knew that he will not miss his target. He even asked Tsumugu to make sure that the berserk Ryuko and her Kamui gone wrong, was in plain sight, to make a distraction.

All to make sure that he would be able to take her down if he had to.

Yet, when push came to shove... he couldn't. He had the chance. Just before the monster that his student had become saw him, he had all the chance to end it. All he had to do was to pull the trigger and pierce his student with the special adhesive bullet. It would have ended right then and there, but...

There was no assurance that Ryuko would survive it.

That's why, to tell the truth, he was relieved. He was so relieved that he hesitated. He did not have to use that bullet... at least for now.

He would still be able to tease the blushing virgin with his stipperific antics. Although he also had a hunch – she would most probably use that huge half-scissors of hers to drive him off, either by threatening him with the pointy end or pushing him away with the other. Or both. Or maybe she'd just walk out on him again.

Not that her constant blushes were already a dead giveaway of what was actually going on in her head.

It made Aikoru smile just as he closed his eyes to sleep. Still, the thought that he might use it in the future would never be a good lullaby.

A/N: I know it sounds so... OOC. But I couldn't get a good grasp of his nature, aside from the comical "Nuuddiiissstttt Beeaaaccchhhhhhhh!" stunt and the sparkling pink nipples. I hope you enjoyed though!
