Aeolius

It had been a long evening. After the whole Hans situation, Elsa was ready to call it a night. How in the world was she going to break it to Anna?! Oh, the man who tried to kill us seems to have changed.

Sighing, the blonde stood in her bedroom mirror, studying her own outfit. She was still wearing her WinterFest Dress, along with her classic "Elsa Braid". Anna's conversation had been swimming around in her head all night... Could she be right? Could it be time for her to finally find someone?...

Elsa wouldn't even know where to start.

Time period: After the Christmas Ball

Characters involved: Elsa & Aeolius

Elsa

The sounds of tapping could be heard coming from her window. Once twice than again. It came again like someone was actually outside the window. But how could that be possible. When she would com e to investigate she would be greeted by the sight of Aeolius smiling at her with a wave. "Gonna let me in?" he asked looking into the triangle window.

Aeolius

Elsa slightly jumped, clearly spooked by the noise coming from her window. The blonde made her way over, a worried expression evident on her face. When she peeped her head out and saw Aeolius, she let out a sigh of relief. "Aeolius!" She exclaimed, opening the window completely. "What're you doing out here?" She asked curiously, stepping aside to let the man in.

Elsa

"Well,"Aeolius smiled as he floated he floated in on a cloud. It disappeared as he entered the room fully he landed with a smile. Though he looked a bit nervous. "I wanted to talk to you and clear the air." he seemed amused by his own pun, "And since your sister volunteered me for a mission that I might not make it back from, I figured it was now or never" he rubbed the back of his head with a chuckle. "So can we talk?" he asked.

Aeolius

"Sure." Elsa said, slowly crossing her arms. Anna had sent him on a mission? How come she wasn't notified about this?

"I didn't know you were leaving," She explained, carefully eyeing the man. Aeolius was an interesting person... And Elsa definitely questioned some of his choices, but she didn't want him to get hurt on this trip.

Elsa

"Neither did I" Aeolius admitting taking a lean on a wall. "But well someone asked for my help and you know me always helping." he smiled wistfully. He always did that he always wanted to help others regardless of the cost to him. "Just like when Gale asked me to help you; I came running without a second thought." he looked over at Elsa with a smile. "Glad I did or else I wouldn't have met you." he looked away before he got caught staring at her. "You look nice by the way." he said a tinge of red on his face.

Aeolius

"Thank you." Elsa noted, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. Even though the room was rather dark, the moon illuminated the room.... And Elsa saw him blush.

"What's wrong?" She asked, wondering if he felt okay. The blonde appreciated the compliment, but it still didn't explain why he wanted to see her.

Elsa

"Well, Jyoti was right," Aeolius muttered to himself smiling a bit. Elsa didn't seem as mad as she was yesterday, he decided to clarify as Elsa wasn't there "She said if you kiss a girl or in my case tries, then you don't do anything, she's going to think you're messing with her." he said quoting the tiger woman. "I'm guessing that's one of the reasons you slapped me yesterday huh." Aeolius looked over to the woman.

"I'm sorry for trying to kiss you." he apologized, for his actions none the less. "I didn't say anything before because I didn't know how to approach you after it happened" he said hoping she'd understand what he was trying to say. "I thought you might have hated me, but then you said you trusted me which confused me even more." he chuckled nervously After a minute he didn't say anything and soon it got too quiet for his liking.

"So...why did you hit me anyway?" he asked actually curious now as to now why she acted the way she did.

Aeolius

"Of course I trust you. Aeolius, you're my friend. You rescued me from the Nokk." Elsa slowly reached up, itching the side of her arm. When he apologized for trying to kiss her, she nodded.

"It's fine, I forgive you." She confirmed, offering Aeolius a comforting smile. It was funny how the man had talked to someone else about their encounter.

"As for the slap... It was a bunch of pent up anger. Not all directly towards you, just.... Just in general." Elsa's eyes made their way to the floor, taking a deep breath. Why was this beginning to feel like an interrogation?

Elsa

Aeolius let out a sigh of relief his body relaxing as the tension from before left him "I really thought I messed things up with you." He saw Elsa looking down, he smiled as he walked over to her taking one of her hands in his, he felt that warm tingling sensation again. "Wanna go have some fun?" he asked placing a hand under her chin.

Aeolius

The platinum blonde took a step back, not use to all the contact. "Depends... Where to?" She asked, tilting her head at the man.

Sure, she liked Aeolius... He seemed like a gentleman, and he meant well... But no one had ever touched her so regularly. The former Queen wasn't use to all the contact.

Elsa

"Somewhere amazing." Aeolius smiled taking a step back himself, he realized he'd pushed a bit too much. "I won't force you to come though" he held out his hand for her to take or reject. "I'll let you decide if you want to come or not." he gave her look telling her that she wouldn't regret the choice. "All you have to do is take my hand." he knew he was asking her for a lot but, he didn't want to force her he wanted her to choose.

Elsa.

Prince David knew right away he had to introduce himself to Elsa right away he figures he would do it before he had to leave for the Mission he regrated going on that mission anyway he wonders towards where he thinks Elsa room would be he couldn't stop thinking about the Mission on his mind first thing First introduce himself to Elsa and apologize to her for calling her Beautiful without introducing himself to her.

Aeolius

Elsa looked up at Aeolius reluctantly. She knew this man wanted to know her better, but she wasn't in the mood. She slowly reached up and grasped his hand.

"Let's make this short." She demanded. "I'm a little tired."

Elsa

Aeolius smiled brightly before taking a firmer grip on her hand while he waved his free one around like he'd created something.. "Now this next part might be a little scary for you, so try not to scream ok" he moved to the woman window pulling he gently along with him.

"Your gonna love it though I promise." with that, he proceeded to pick her up bridal style. Before hopping out the window there was a sudden drop as they leapt out before the too of them were caught on something fluffy, they were on a cloud a rather wide one at that enough for the two of them to stand or sit but they'd still be rather close. And it was floating just under the window, he put the woman down remembering about her and personal space issues, see he could learn. The cloud bounced slightly as her feet would hit it.

Aeolius

"Woah!" She exclaimed as she was picked up. She didn't appreciate that, as she could've gotten out of the window herself. She brushed herself off as she was placed on the cloud, and looked down at the air around them. The princess felt the cloud under her feet, and was intrigued by its mass. Her expression was clearly doubtful and concerned as to why this guy wanted to do this.

"Alright, where are we going?" She asked.

Elsa

"Just around," Aeolius smirked, he could tell she was concerned by his reason for doing this, so he decided to tell her. "Since you've been so stressed out lately; I figured you needed a change of pace and a change of scenery ." he gestured for her to sit, as he took a seat on the cloud it bounced a bit. Once she would have sat down the cloud would have taken off at a quick pace.

Aeolius smiled the whole time it did in a moment it was all cloudy and misty before they broke through and on the other side, they were greeted by a sky full of stars that were sparkling like diamonds in the air and below them was a sea of fluffy white, the moon greeted them in the distance. This was like a different world one that few people were able to see and held its unique majesty.

"So I thought I'd show you a few of my favourite spots to go when, I'm feeling overwhelmed" he smiled, looking over to see her reaction. He didn't want anything, he just wanted to share this view with someone.

Aeolius

Elsa sat down. She was intrigued as to why Aeolius thought she didn't even know her own kingdom as well as he did.

"Alright." She said. "But, how long have you been living here?"

Elsa

"Not long but, I think I now a thing of thing or two about kingdoms." Aeolius grinned he seemed pretty sure of himself. "Alright then Ms Former Queen." Aeolius decided to accept the challenge. "Tell me then where is the best spot for stargazing then, that's not within the walls of the kingdom?" he asked.

Aeolius

Elsa could think of plenty of places. But she decided to play the game her own way.

"On the top of the fjord." She answered vaguely.

Elsa

"Mostly right, I'll give you credit for that but, I bet I can show you a spot you've never seen." Aeolius waived a finger. "Think I'm wrong?" he asked enjoying this little bit of fun. He knew that Elsa knew this place better than he did but that wasn't the point, the point was just to have a little fun and forget about a lot of the things that had been weighing them down recently if only for a little while.

Aeolius

Elsa laughed a bit. This kid was pretty dumb to think he knew more than her, even if it was an opinion.

"Well, yes." She replied. "After the Great Thaw, I explored every crag and crevice of these fjords."

She knew the likely spot Aeolius was going to pick, but she wanted to see him try.

Elsa

"Let's see if your right."Aeolius had the cloud move, taking the two of them just past the castle itself the world passing below them relatively quick. It wasn't long before brought the two of them to a grassing hill with a single tree you could hear the sounds of nature around from a moving stream the animals in the distance.

There seemed to be no real discernible way to get to the point he brought them and it would have been next to impossible without some kind of help. The hill was high enough that it was at the perfect halfway point between the sky and the kingdom below. You could see for miles even out to the sea.

When he got there he practically jumped down onto the grass that was still visible even with the cold of winter it still hasn't snowed yet. He removed his jacket placing it to his side for Elsa if she chose to use it to keep her dress clean. "Well?" he asked taking a seat on the ground before letting himself fallback to stargaze. "Aren't you gonna join me? he asked smiling up at the woman.

Aeolius

Elsa raised one brow, chuckling lightly. It was a random spot near one of her old usual spots she chose to stargaze, but she pretended she didn't know this one.

"I thought you said we'd be sight seeing." She challenged as she stepped off the cloud and stood next to him.

It was a clear night, but Elsa had no intentions of stargazing when Aeolius simply said a little trip around the kingdom.

Elsa

"Give me a moment" Aeolius seemed comfortable even more so than when they were not being attacked after they first met. there was a look of contentment on his face. This place reminded me a lot of my home." Aeolius says with a smile expect there were flowers a far as the eye could see and they'd glow at night." he said reminiscing a bit the twinge of home sickness in his tone. He sat for a moment taking in the sound of nature.

"Did you know, that everything in this world the rocks, trees, water, and animals all a unique song but, their song is all apart of the first one, the song of life." the young man said looking up at the stars with that, he stood up dusting off his pants and picking up his jacket.

"I have one other place I want to take you but, since you seemed so unamused by my choice I'll let you show me one of your favourite spots before we go there" Aeolius hopped up on to the cloud.

Aeolius

Elsa had to admit, the man was trying really hard. His efforts weren't unnoticed, but she was certainly estranged by his life speech. She got up onto the cloud.

"I don't control this thing." She stated. "But I don't wanna spoil the surprise."

Elsa

"It's true." Aeolius smiled. "My mother told me and if you can't believe a centuries-old Fairy Queen then who can you believe." Aeolius defended his claim with an 'okay you don't believe me' tone in his voice she shot ice from her fingers but she didn't believe in the song of life.

"Have you never heard nature voice calling to you, he asked Elsa noting that look on her face. "I mean, that's what brought me here to your lands in the first place" Aeolius admitted, sure there have been rough patches, but he doesn't regret coming to this place.

"Thanks to that, I meta new friend who was like me" he looked over to the platinum blonde, seemed happy about that "Then there was Lenna and Erick, though, I'm sure Lenna wished she'd left me where she found me " He let out a small laugh at the idea or Lenna just leaving him on the side of the road somewhere. "But. I'll make her my friend no matter how hard she fights against it." he seemed determined on that part.

"You might with a bit of help." when she mentioned not wanting to ruin the surprise he tried to think of something he remembers when she held his hand before in their fight with the Nokk she was able to channel his power to raise her own so why couldn't that work now wondering if they could do it on purpose this time. He started to reach for her hand but stopped short respecting her personal boundaries and the touch policy.

"Wanna see if we can make some magic happen" he smirked, knowing it was a bad pun but hopped she'd enjoy it anyway before offering up his hand a bit of wind building up around it.H looked rather silly with one hand held out the other covering his eyes. "I promise I won't peek."

Aeolius

Elsa looked at the boy of a man, then down to his hand and back. She knew she didn't want to do this. This guy was trying too hard to relate to him, and the effect was negative overall. She still stood on the cloud with him, but decided not to take his hand.

"You go ahead." She dismissed. "Just head to the North Mountain."

Elsa

Aeolius sat back down on the cloud but proceded towards the mountain,"You know, if I'm doing something wrong you can tell me." he said not looking just straight ahead. He couldn't figure out how to approach this. "I can be a bit 'much' at times I know" he sighed, this wasn't working he was pushing her further away, this was a bit of that mature side coming out. "Things have been rough on you lately and will probably just keep getting rougher." he let out another sigh. "I thought you could use a distraction even if it was just for a night."

The cloud stopped. "If you want, I'll take you back." he looked over to Elsa, he seemed as though he was really trying to just get her to have a good time. But if he was just making things worse he'd just end it here.
