Since the first introduction thread has 1)become too long to follow for a newcomer and 2)been hijacked by Off-topicness (lmao). I am starting a new, polished and shiny introduce yourself thread! If you are new to Rurouni Kenshin dream, know that we are open to ALL fans of RK and/or diehard anime fans! We talk about fanfiction, fanart, set up challenges and sometimes even babble just for the fun of it! So if you are new, tell us about yourself so the people on the forum can properly welcome you and help everyone interact! (Introduction 3 might be coming soon after lol)

I think it's getting into sex now, too....lmao, I love that topic! Well I didn't get to introduce myself on the other one...it was hijacked by that time. But I'm not really a newcomer. Still, I'm WhiteRabbit, writer of RK fanfics in which I pair Aoshi/Kaoru, Soujiro/Misao, Megumi/Sano and Kenshin/Naruku(OC) and have a variety of other OCs, my favorite of which are Enizu (crazy sadism!) and Rokuro (awesome ex-samurai-turned-hitman...poor soul doesn't believe in life anymore!) I actually have a cool Rokuro Kujima quote: "It is not the will to live, but the choice to die as I please." Said to Naruku after she lost to him. Because she's a rather crap swordswoman. Poor girl. I also have a website and I pretty much JUST learned the important parts of HTML, like stylesheets and divs and whatnot, so I'm fiddling around with it. And that's pretty much my life in a nutshell. Also I need to write and post a Sou/Mi one-shot by New Years, I need to post the sixth chapter to a fic and I need to continue work on a different fic that hasn't been updated since September. And I'm spending all my time on the forum!

Hey, everyone. Unicornfan mentioned I'm in the middle?! hehe. Since the first intro thread is gone... I'm here! I'm moeru. There are 2 other moeru(s) in ff.net, but I'm the only one who writes RK fanfics.:P The fanfics I mostly write are drama and those are the kinds that I love reading as well. I have a C2 community that collects stories set from my favorite RK period: Kenshin's wandering years! It's "Between Those Ten Years". So many great fics there. I also have two pencil drawings done years ago and are now posted in HakuBaikou's site. Are those info enough? With that, wanna say this forum is sooo great!:p

HA, AGAIN A CASE OF ME BEING REALLY REALLY BORED STRIKED! I checked to see if we had the most posts in all the forums on ff.net There was some forum in Beyblade with 341 posts.... WE BEAT IT. WE WERE THE TOP OF ANIME. I then checked books. One in Harry Potter had 357 posts... WE STILL BARELY BEAT IT. And by now I'm like "HAHAHAHA, WE BEAT IT ALLLLL!@" Then a stupid Super Smash Brothers forum has 502 posts -_-.... BUT WE HAVE THE SECOND MOST POSTS IN ANY FORUM ON FF.NET! AND THE MOST IN ANIME! OHH YA! I AM SO BORED!

You have no newcomers? Then I'll introduce myself! I'm Hitoezakura, a teenage girl who adores writing RK fics. I love to write canon pairings, but AoshiKaoru has become one of my favorite pairings. Lately, I'm starting to adore deep analysis fics, and am currently trying to write one about Enishi. I'm sure my readers are ready to kill me though, since I haven't updated for a month or so... It doesn't help that I have a ton of reading and homework to do over Christmas. Curse Science Symposium, AP English, Declamation, and COYA! And on top of that, I'm trying to update original stories! I can officially say I'm screwed...sob... Anyways, I've been reading the threads, and I have to say, there are some interesting conversations out there...perhaps I should check them out!

So I'm an avid reader and writer here at FFnet, but only when I have time. T__T School and my insane family life eat up a lot of my time, and recovering from that eats up the rest, generally. XD I try to squeeze fanfiction in there somewhere, but I'm often unsuccessful (except for now! YAY for a month-long break!). I really shouldn't complain that much about school since I brought it upon myself by double-majoring. -___-; Ah, well. As for RurouKen-ness, RK is my all-time favorite anime/manga series ever. Mostly for nostalgic reasons, but the historical element always attracts me (hehe, I'm a history major/geek). I watch and read a lot of anime and manga when I have time... AHHH, you're 14 and already in college? You're sooooo lucky. I'm 18 and still stuck in high school (though that is perfectly normal because the cut off date was Sept.1 and my birthday is Sept. 28, so therefore, I haven't failed or anything...) And I think you should give writing a try. I could give you a plot if you really want one. God knows how many ideas I have, but I probably will never write them and I would like to see how someone else would do with them. I already have tooo many stories to finish, that and of late, I have lost almost all my creative ablities.

Yeah, it was stupid, really, at my parents were thinking about it since who knows when and then they were like, "hey, wanna go to college next year? If you get good enough scores on the SAT you can!" *they proceed to pull out a large SAT-preparation book* and I was like....O_O;

That's true, while high school can be fun, you usually do not learn that that that many new things especially in English. I love English, but its basically the same thing over and over again. I hate APCs which are Assertion, Proof, and Commentary - so dumb.

In college at 14? that's cool. I'm 19, and just finished my first semester...I could have gone last year, but I decided to take a year off after High School to really decide what I wanted to do, and as I'm just going for my associates right now, I'll still only be like 21 when I graduate...so that's cool...and as to high school itself, I was always homeschooled so yeah...kinda set my own pace for alot of things, though I have to admit, the writing program I used for the first 8 grades just about killed my love for any kind of writing...luckily we found this program I used in high school that brought it back...can't imagine what my life would be like now without writing... Anyway, enough of my rambling...I'm not a newcomer...but just wanted to give a big Hiya to anyone out there who's coming to join our little corner of the boards ;)

I'm fourteen also and in normal 9th grade... Sama-chan (ha, weird name) are you like in actual ACTUAL college or doing college prep courses that counts towards your high school classes? I mean like taking Geometry at college which COUNTS for high school and college geometry and stuff. I kinda agree with my mom, I personally think it's bad for kids to be in collage and stuff, not because they're not smart enough or anything but more like because they need to be around kids their own age and develop and gain sosial skills and stuff, you know what I mean? Not saying YOU'RE like that or anything! o_0. Just, umm, saying, hope I didn't say anything wrong... And Shenyu, hey, ya know you love me! Lmao.

Yeah, shockingly, I'm ACTUALLY in ACTUAL college. but, fortunately, the University is pretty awesome... but We had at least SEVEN hours of homework a day, and balancing clarinet, soccer, swimming, choir, and piano along with that...I went to bed at about 2:30 am every night. yeah. e_e

I absolutely know what you're talking about. You know, it seems what however much time you have to do something, you need the ENTIRE TIME to do it. Like, sometimes, when I was in the transition period, the only homework we would have would be physics and math. I was like "oh, I'll just do math and physics, and have the entire evening to spare!." well, guess what? I ended up staying up till midnight to do em. gack. I swear, if I had just procrastinated and gotten up early the next moring, I would have finished faster!

I wish I had the abiltiy to do all my hw in one night. lol. I'm usually like sleep is more important and so I go to sleep and end up rushing in the morning to finish my hw. Luckily, God has been good to me (laughs) and I have an extra day to do it, or I end up becoming a genuis for about five minutes and doing my homework, or I just copy. Yes, I said it. lol. But you'd be suprised at how many AP (advanced placement) students actually copy. lol. Though, just to say, I usually end up finishing my hw.

Ah...copying...the good ol' days....lol. If it wasn't for copying, I would have DIED in the prep classes. In the end, our 'class' got really lazy, so when we had to go through our huge physics packets, each person would do a couple problems, then we'd swap, and have EVERYTHING! it was actually a brilliant idea, until tests rolled around...

LMAO. I copy sometimes, not too much though. I'm more of the person everyone copies off of. And god, I'm the bigeest procastinator EVER. I mean REALLY. It ended up with me having like, one day left until the end of the semester and like, 20 hours of homework to do, and that's if I CONCENTRATED. Luckily my teachers are all so nice or I'd be dead. SPEAKING of that some just gave me B's (which is horrible for me you know, but at leats not C's) and some gave me an IC and I'd do the work over Xmas break and turn it in when we got back to school. And, alas, I have two days of vacation left and have not done a lick of it. *HITS HEAD REPEADELY*

About me - I'm 14 years old, I'm from Slovenia. I like fanfiction (obviously), drawing (but not fanart), writing (even if the result is bad). What else? Oh, on times I'm a bit philosophical so beware! ^_^ My talents, where are they? Lost in the space? Joke. I can say I have a pretty good memory and I'm good in logic. That conbination has a good point - I don't have to study much to get good grades and I have more free time!
