Before Martine Rousseau was known as the deadly Samaritan assassin; she had a job, a life, a purpose. G is Book 4 of the series. It's the follow-on of Saving the Saviors, and finds all of the characters from the show arriving in present day, intact. Several are worse for wear, and more pressure is likely to come. Forces that would take all that is dear to Finch are at work. Some from the show have returned with expanded roles, and new characters from the first book return in G.

When Brandi Finch's mother dies she goes to live with her Uncle Harold Finch. This is a reboot of "The Lost Child" where she lives with Finch from the pilot to now. Rating will stay the same on account of violence.

John is enjoying therapy with Dr. Campbell more than he would have expected, or would care to admit. Meanwhile, Iris is enjoying John Riley's company more than she should, or would dare to admit.

"Meet Leslie Johnson, mermaid." John blinked in confusion. Surely Finch was using some obscure literary reference, or perhaps making a pun. It was too early in the day for wordplay. Team Machine's latest number is a mermaid! Careese, especially in later chapters.

AU in which the Machine was never created, meaning the simulations in 5x12 have become a reality. Root is a high level Samaritan operative tasked with the removal of threats to the programme. When Shaw, an ISA agent, becomes Root's next target, it leads her to question everything she believes in.

What if John didn't meet Joss first? What if he met a doctor in Manhattan who gave him back his hope to fight? John/ OC. Oneshot for now.

John and Harold have both survived Samaritan and, against Harold's prophecy they have grown old together. Harold's memory is now slipping, and John is struggling to hold on as best he can while Aurora works hard to take care of them both.
