Poll: Twin Lantern Now or Rewritten? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 18 stories for Naruto, Dragon Age, X-Men: The Movie, Young Justice, Transformers, Transformers/Beast Wars, Mass Effect, Avengers, and Teen Wolf. March 23rd, 2012 - They are saying that fan fiction is, whether they’re going to admit it openly or not, a disgrace. And since they think so, I believe they aren’t looking at the right stories. And, really, I’m not talking about believable stories that tell a tale that‘s so cliché and easy to read, I’m talking about believable stories that tell a tale that’s so cliché and not so easy to read because our job here on fan fiction is to create something that’s entertaining, not only to the reader but to ourselves. We take ideas, we bend them, we twist them, because it’s called fan fiction. And really, how can people say Look for something unique, something no one’s done before! when everything’s been done already? What we do, is take ideas already done and make them our own, with our little twist. So maybe it’s been done, so maybe other people call your ideas stupid, lame and done before. Who cares? It’s your idea, your thing. Don’t let anyone else change who you are and who your stories are. Wow, did I sound lecturing and optimistic to you? Yes? Thought so too… But to anyone who’s actually here and reading my nonsense. Thank you, it means a lot to me whenever someone tells me what they think of my stories. It makes me happier to know that you’ve taken into account the chapters and told me what you think, and not just the chapter you read. Not many people know this, but we, the authors, know that each of us have an ego, and that our stories are, are our vanity, ego, love and hard work combined.. It pleases me greatly to see any review in my inbox, no matter how nonsensical or little there is to it. A review, to me, tells me one thing, and one thing only, no matter if it’s critical, uplifting or a flame. You still read it, and stopped to tell me your thoughts. But, er…I should really stop typing anything more or else this will turn into a learning experience or something, ehehe… March 12, 2012 - I LIVE! Technically. I mean, it has been a while since I last updated Virtual Love and I'm actually, kind of, not really, surprised at how much response it has. I mean, yes, there's Alistair and I'm sure it's been done before. In fact, I've been telling people it wasn't, totally, my idea. It was Louvette's idea, I just took what she had and kind of...expanded it. Of course, my character isn't a Mage like hers, she's actually a Rogue, but still! Frankly...I kind of hate Mages. Well, being a mage, anyways. I like being a Rogue, alot, if you hadn't noticed. And guess what? Instead of being anti-social and only spending my birthday with my parents and brothers, I actually spent it at school. Which was actually really...fun, besides being teased about becoming an old woman(since when was 18 old?) and spoiling my teachers and classmates with pizza, sandwiches and black forest cake. Enjoyable. Nevertheless, I should actually start talking about my stories In Progress and such. I'm missing my Dragon Age 2 which is why Into the Game hasn't been updated in a while. I'm thinking of putting it on Hiatus until I can force my Bi'y to give my Dragon Age 2 game back, since he broke my Halo Reach and hasn't done shit about it. Which brings me back to Dragon Age 2 and telling him over and over again that since he hasn't done anything about my Reach, that DA2 is mine. But who knows, I may end up scraping Into the Game altogether and rewriting it. Maker knows, it's all a bunch of none sense without a actually plot. So, yeah, Into the Game will be put on Hiatus until further notice, and maybe, just maybe, it'll be rewritten. Virtual Love will continue to be updated randomly. Now that I've got a solid, solid plot going on in my head, it's starting to flow much more smoothly. Sub!Pride Malik from Virtual Love is surprisingly fun to write, and Dom!Sloth Zaziel reminds me too much of Lucifer from Supernatural, which I don't mind, not at all. And Alistair is just so damn oblivious its adorable. Twin Lanterns is also in the works, and I don't plan on suddenly disappearing from it soon. Just trying to work out the kinks in the plot before I move forward with it any more then I do now. It's obviously a Vic/Wally pairing, despite what I say in the A/N's. Lost some readers when they realized it, but what the hell, who cares? And I don't know what who I'm going to thrust Johnny onto. Who knows, I may just open a poll for it because I have Kaldur, Roy and, the shocker of all, Batman as a possible romance for Johnny. Each have their own story, of course, the plot is different with each guy. Project Mimic is actually an idea from Project Mockingbird on the very same Transformers(Movie) category. I saw the summary, I read the first chapter but I couldn't read on after that. Don't know why, the plot is possible, but I stopped reading it and started Project Mimic. It will be continued, just as soon as I figure out how everything is going to fit, I already have a few snippets of sentences, scenes and talking for certain chapters, but I want to work out the kinks and do some more research before I continue on it any longer. Heaven Is was just a spur of the moment post. I've been itching to post something X-Men for a long while now, but just haven't found the right story. Until now. Like Virtual Love, it's surprisingly popular, despite the fact that it only has three chapters. Working out kinks in plot and trying to find the motivation to write for it though, to please my readers. Paper Sun is my favorite one. It's story is twisted, darker and something I've been kind of wanting to do for a while. Torpor and Sheba, were, intentionally supposed to be just powerful nuisances in Hart's side while she remembered things from back in Ferelden and Amaranthine while with Hawke in Kirkwall. Some of the scenes in it weren't supposed to happen so soon or so suddenly either but that's how it came out. I've been thinking of making a Prequel to Paper Sun where it tells Hart's story during the Blight in Ferelden and then in Amaranthine. Maybe I'll make a poll of this one too... Rambles on stories. The reason why Batman, of all people, is being consider as a possible love interest for Johnny is because, while I like to analyze relationships, I've realized that all the pairings I've ever thought about and made possible in stories, the couple is either the same age, or close in age(meaning only two years apart, tops) and that some girls go for older men. Some girls go for someone younger then them and then someone close in age. I admit, it is weird, and I've looked at Bats age compared to Johnny's and then looked closely at him on YJ and realized he looks no older then thirty, in my eyes. ( SMALL SPOILER FOR TWIN LANTERNS, DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT A A TINY BIT OF A SPOILER, NO MATTER HOW SMALL. IF YOU DON'T MIND, PROCEED WITH CAUTION.) If you're lost, let me explain. I see Batman as thirty-six, same age as Johanna and Hal. Johnny and Vic, are currently 17, but their birthday is coming up in the story, making them 18. Now that's 18 years age difference between her and Bats. And since I know there are people out there that support Wally/Bruce, you shouldn't be disgusted by the large gap in age. Because, believe me, the gap is even bigger with Wally/Bruce. By research, I mean, how am I going to explain how humans made Cybertronian bodies without the Atubobots and Decepticons knowing. Because you have to take the Spark into account, no true Cybertronian is without one, of course. How they actually were able to stay secret and how they were able to build the bodies like a Cybertronian. And lastly, how they can transfer from human body to Cybertronian body. I've got some of it figured out, I've just got to make it believable. And let me tell you, it is hard. Even if I am a hardcore Transformers fan and know almost(if not all) everything about them. I'm called a nerd for a reason, right? My first X-Men story, I think, is going to be the hardest challenge for me. I'm used to writing fanfictions about almost everything else, but mutants. Which is strange, because writing about superheroes, magic and time travelling is hard to write about, as is, right? So writing an X-Men story about mutants shouldn't be that hard for me. Which is very, very wrong of me to think, because it is kind of difficult to write. Which my over-egotistical brain is in shock over, because, hell, I have Mass Effect, Transformers and Dragon Age stories floating around my room, folders and books. Links. Yeah, just skip it. Just...go onto the stories This is a true story. A girl died in 1933. A man buried her when she was still alive. The murder chanted, "Toma Sota balcu," as he buried her. Now that you have read this chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your ceiling. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. If you post this on your profile, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded. Lucillia MY STORIES; DOWN THERE, |
