Current News

To Love and Lose: DISCONTINUED. Unfortunately, the story has come to a standstill for me, and as a result I haven't been able to continue with it. I'm incredibly sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused to readers and fans (if any) alike.

I'm currently in the developing stages of another story, and I think this time it'll be a good one, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Me

Name: Ana Gardansa; the last name's not really mine.

Age: 18

Sex: Female

My pen name: 'Salad days' is an idiom meaning happy days or carefree days. There are a lot of dark and emo-centric pen names out there - not that there's anything wrong with that - so I decided, why not just be happy? And so 'sunnysaladdays' was born. Oh, and I was once Elle Cee. That was my pen name before I changed it to the current one. Just letting you guys know.

Favourites

Actor: I truly think that Johnny Depp is an amazing actor, if not one of the best. He can really bring a character to life on the screen, and is able to play a variety of different roles, from the eccentric Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Carribean to the dark and troubled titular character of the musical film Sweeney Todd. He can sing too.
Other favourite actors include Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson, Gary Oldman, Jack Huston, Tobin Bell, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, and of course, who could forget Heath Ledger's Oscar-worthy role as the Joker in 'The Dark Knight!' I love you Heath!

Actress: I love Kristen Stewart. Her innocence and youthful aura is a really great asset in her roles, and I loved her in Speak, where she plays Melinda Sordino.
Camilla Belle, Liv Tyler, Angelina Jolie (Angie too, for her great ladies-in-charge roles!) Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, and Scarlett Johanson (I loved Portman and Johanson in 'The Other Boleyn Girl.' Also two potentials for top favourites.)

Movie: I kind of have two favourite movies, but that's alright. Hands down, it has to be 'Wanted' and 'The Dark Knight.' They were literally edge-of-the-seat, nail-biting movies! I loved 'Wanted's action scenes, and 'The Dark Knight's Joker, Heath Ledger, was probably one of the best-played characters of all time. Two truly extraordinary movies.
Other favourite movies include the 'Harry Potter' films, 'Pirates of the Carribean,' 'The Lord of the Rings,' 'Juno,' 'The Bee Movie,' (that was cute and fun to watch .)

T.V. Show: Well, I don't really watch T.V., but I do watch the news, if that counts. xD

Book: This is another hands down, I am an avid fan of the 'Harry Potter' series. It is by far the best children's series that I have ever read. The topic is somewhat of a general thing, but the way Rowling created and weaved the story was amazing, and recreated the image of witches, wizards, and magic for everyone. Nowadays, if you say wizard or magic, many people will automatically think of 'Harry Potter.' It also has a great and unique antagonist, again the same general take-over-the-world villian, but with a very refreshing and unique take. If you haven't read the series, you are missing out.
I also really love the 'Twilight' series by Stephenie Meyer, 'The Lord of the Rings' series by J.R.R. Tolkien, a very - and I mean very - intricate and detailed universe, and anything authored by Jodi Picoult, an amazing writer of controversial fictions.

Band/Music: I really like rock music, and sometimes I listen to pop/rock and a little bit of R&B. I really like the band Paramore, and I love Coldplay and Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson, who has an a-m-a-z-i-n-g voice, absolutely amazing. Go Kelly!
