![]() Author has written 14 stories for Doctor Who, Discworld, Rocky Horror, Sweeney Todd, Tanith Lee, Misc. Books, Ghost Ship, Harry Potter, Shakespeare, Addams Family, and American Gods. If you're here because you've received one of my requests for the Yuletide Treasure Fic Exchange then you're in the right place: Overall, I'll be glad of whatever you write because I have a habit of falling for tiny fandoms. Just so long as you use good grammar/punctuation and characterisation then I'll be happy. I like my fics to be more than one genre, like a horror story told with humour or a sci-fi that's really about spirituality. I love to be surprised, so twist endings are good if you can pull them off (I'm sure you can) and an interpretation of a character I'd never thought of before would be cool. I think the most important thing I can ask though is that you don't treat my requests like some kind of checklist you have to fill. I've been as flexible as possible because I know how hard it is to write someone else's story and I'd rather have something that came to the writer naturally than something that someone had to hammer into shape. Things I'd really prefer you didn't include are: incest, character bashing, stuff like that. If you haven't come here because you've received one of my Yuletide requests then feel free to be royally confused. ;D Hi there, Empty profiles always give people a sense of mystery, but since in the last two months I've managed to convince two separate real-life people that I'm a rampant feminist and a satanist, I think it's probably wise to stop all speculation. No, I don't know how it happened either :-/ I'm certainly not a satanist and although I'm a feminist in the sense that I'm not giving up the vote any time soon, I wouldn't call myself rampant. You may be here because I commented harshly on one of your fics and so would probably agree that I'm a feminazi, satanist and a total bitch to boot. I have a policy of strict constructive criticism, so either you've flown off the handle or you wrote something especially horrible. Either way, I can only appologise for my lack of control and/or tact. Unless of course you wrote a R-rated Teletubbies fic or something, in which case you probably deserved it. I'm studying English Literature and Creative Writing at university and I'd be hard pressed to tell you which half of the course I like best. I'm doing this with a view to being a writer one day, but I'm not quite ready to stop tinkering with other people's characters yet. And since I've read some fanfiction that's had a profounder affect on me than a lot of published books (Twilight, need I say more?) I don't think I'm going to stop for a long time. Ariadne |
