I'm just a girl that got bored and started writing, I guess.

Q: Where the hell have I been?

A: Okay, okay. I know. It's been a year and a half. All plans to update this in 2014 crashed and burned horribly in the worst explosion ever. It wasn't a great year with sickness (not just me, but also family members) and cars being destroyed (not just me, but also family members). I was happy to say buh-bye to 2014 and welcomed 2015 with a warm hug (despite the unusual amount of snow and ice...crazy winter, right?). To top it all off, I ended up on the early shift at work. Like be there at 5am early. When my best writing time is between 11pm and 4am (I didn't choose Alive at Midnight for nothing), this completely killed that time. While I attempted to write at a more convenient time that worked with that schedule, it just didn't work out. (I write at late night for a reason: no life distractions.) Yes, I know that things could have been way worse last year, and I'm thankful they weren't, but I definitely did a jig as the ball dropped on New Year's.

Q: When is there going to be an update?

A: My focus is Darkness Beckons. I'm determined to finish that sucker asap. I'm tired of not meeting my goals and I'm going after them with vigor this year and finishing this is in my top five. Happily, my schedule is changing (back to the late shift, yes!), so I should get back into the groove of this pretty quick. First post WILL be April 10th, at the latest.

The Unexpected: A story I started I do believe shortly after the release of HP5 (the book). I made it about 18 chapters in before adulthood started kicking my butt (i.e. College, Jobs, Studying...). At this time, I'm editing and completing the story and should start posting the edited chapters eventually.

Come Back: (8/21/13) I am truly sorry that I am not finishing this right now, but it will be finished. I don't bother posting if I have no intention to finish. If you prefer that I take it down until it's finished, I will. (PM me. 10 yes's and it's done.) Otherwise, just hang on. I didn't intend for my other story to draw my focus away from this, but...well, it happened.
