My name's Katrina, but you can call me Kat (I just went with "Kate" in my username because it sounded better than "Kat"). I'm on FB as Katrina Decker and Twitter as "at" KatDeckerWrites.

I'm a college professor with a nerdy habit of writing fanfiction when I probably should be grading student essays.

I'm currently writing OUAT fanfic (SQ, some OQ in the past but not anymore), but I love reading SwanQueen, OutlawQueen, DragonQueen, and occasionally EvilCharming if the story supports it well.

A note about my SQ stories:

Sometimes (not always) I will have one of the women paired up with another person at the start of the fic. If I do, it's because it's integral to the plot development, and there won't be any mention of intimate details in that relationship. Just trust the process. But, if you don't want to read about any dudes ever, then maybe skip those. It'll be clear in the description if that is the case. I don't write adultery fics, so if it's a SQ romantic pairing fic (check the tags/description to be sure), then they will eventually get together, but it won't be via an affair (at least as of now. If I ever decide to write one like that, it will be clearly labeled).

I tend to write slowburn stories, because those are what I love reading and writing. Similarly, I try to keep my fics as realistic as possible (of course, there's some suspension of disbelief needed, like the entire premise of A Serendipitous Encounter or anything with magic, but even with a completely unlikely situation, I try to make the events unfold in a realistic way). As such, their relationship will take time to develop. If Regina is with someone else, she isn't going to immediately drop everything to be with Emma...the fic would only be like 3 chapters if that happened :P

All stories unbetaed. If you ever see any glaring typos, feel free to leave a note in the review or send me a DM so I can fix it (as long as it's a recent story. FF deletes old chapters from the editor after 90 days, and I'm likely too lazy to completely re-upload things once that happens).
