I'll tell you right away that my name is Stephenie. I can't say that I've always liked my name, and I will admit that I've found myself fantasizing about changing it, but as it were, I'm stuck with it. On the flip side, I would feel quite a loss if it were to disappear, just because it's not a very common name and I've taken some pride in it, strange as that sounds.

I find myself fantasizing about many things, actually, especially since this summer is going to be busier than most. My family has found an apartment in a town called Waite Park, and I plan to get a part time job, considering that the building is right in the middle of town and there are numerous places to go. A McDonalds is about a three minute walk from where we will be living, and the mall still a short walking distance. Needless to say, I'm trying to keep myself busy.

I have taken quite a liking to Humor fanfics, as well as Adventures and Mystery. Any type would subdue me, and I write using all sorts of different styles. Though I only have three stories posted, I'm working on others that haven't quite had the chance to get all typed up yet. Soon, though, I plan to start the first on my Upcoming Stories list. I have the first three chapters written, and hope to get onto the fourth.

If you don't know already, I'm obsessed with many things. Chocolate, Music, and Anime/Fanfiction writing make up my life. Reading fits in there, too, as well as sleeping. I'm not much of a people person, and tend to spend a lot of time to myself. When I'm not doing any of those things, I'm probably eating or playing video games; my favorites right now are any Resident Evil or Zelda games. As for the music, you could consider what I listen to either Punk or Alternative Rock. I've gotten the whole She's such a freak! thing before, and really couldn't care less. That's just how I am. xD

I can say that my life is pretty much going in fast forward right now; the end of school, situations at home, and a whole bunch of other things that I couldn't take the time to put down here if I tried. Let's just say A Human's Heart; A Youkai's Mind is a bit on hold, though I'm updating as quickly as possible. It's really such a pain with school, but I've been working at it. Obviously, if I don't slow down, soon I'm going to wind up in a strait jacket.

Not literally, of course...Well, I suppose it could happen, if my parent's really felt the need.

NOTE: Until the fourth (of July) I will be on hiatus. I am spending the week at my friend's house, and don't have any of the chapters with me. That, and my parents will be officially moving out today - which means that, even when I get back, there's going to be a ton of situating to do. Besides, there's a pool, sporting courts, and a 24-hour fitness center; I'll be keeping myself busy for the rest of the summer.

Kagome and her family are striving to survive in a desolate town not too far away from a demon city, where some of the most powerful beings in the country live and reign. Out on a dangerous mission one night, the siblings are caught; Kagome's mother and brother are taken to the prison, but she herself is sold into slavery; how can she survive under the rule of an arrogant half-demon?

(Untitled as of yet): Kagome is a therapist at a mental clinic. Sango's a nurse/assistant, Miroku's held there for being obsessed with the female species, and Inuyasha is a registered patient whom everyone thinks has gone insane. But Kagome finds out that Inuyasha's had a rough past - more so than her own. Can she uncover his story, the whole story, all the while attempting to gain his trust? It doesn't seem that way...

(Untitled as of yet): Kagome's only dream is to become a master martial artist. Finally, in her junior year of high school, she's enrolled in one of the most respected classes in the city. Her teacher, Inuyasha, is everything but humble; he is, in fact, an arrogant and stuck up jerk, who believes that he's too good to teach Kagome anything. But there's something about her he can't ignore, and that's the only reason he agrees to be her sensai.
